I have to say you made it very entertaining and enjoyable to change my filter. I also have to say the paintbrush to remove the dust is a game changer!
So helpful! Arrow into the house if on the wall, arrow towards the system if in the ceiling!!!! Great explanation!! Thanks!
You're welcome!👍🤩
Ok, I consider myself pretty savvy, but I was today years old when I discovered I’ve been installing mine all these years with the air flow arrow pointing the wrong way.🤣
Now you're a Boss 💪😊👍
Me too. 😮
🤣🤣
It took me about 20 minutes to install it on my own. As long as you can lift it out the box and up into position you’re good. I did have to break the box to get it out as it was a snug fit. I followed the installation video on you tube which was a big help. I added this to support central air in my house that was struggling upstairs because of my house design. Lovely unit. Very quiet ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_hHgTlzH3uk31Fe2RVS3xEbXHGaN_z5T and looks sharp. Had it in a couple of weeks and so far so good. It’s cooling a bedroom about 25ft X 15 no problem at all.
WOW! I am impressed! You explain EVERYTHING so well. THANK YOU! ♥
Your welcome 👍😊
Can you also make video to locate furnace? I have similar filter in ceiling but not able to find furnace anywhere in condo
Helpful and comedic.
SUPER helpful video THANK YOU! I have a ceiling filter intake exactly like this. Is this the ONLY filter or could there be another filter inside the unit that is in my attic? I can go and look if needed but trying to avoid heat stroke if the answer is NO, there’s only one filter. Thanks in advance!!!
OMG! Thanks for sharing.. I just replaced mines and your video helped ❤❤
Glad it helped!
Im a new house owner, first one in my family actually and so I'm just learning about all the things that come along with ownership. Im in a 90s build and there are multiple white grills, theres actually 3. One in the living room on the wall towards the ground, one in the guest room in the closet on the wall towards the ground and one in the hallway on the ceiling. None of them have those pull tabs and they are all screwed in, are these not what im looking to change? None of them even have a filter on them! Haha could you help me out? Is it in the attic?
I have a filter in the furnace/blower in the garage and i also have a vent inside the home like this, but it doesn’t have a filter . Do i need a filter for each one of these areas? (Its a one story recently built home)
“Now that we went to Disney” 😂 this was so helpful, thank you.
😂👍☺️ awesome!
Thank you! Love your commentary too 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad you enjoyed!! thank you!! ❤😊👍❤
Thanks! can you now make a video of how to get your arm stuck out of the garbage disposal? My step sis is stuck
What happens if I had it with the arrow down instead of up (in the ceiling)? I’ve been having a cough when I get home from work and the ac is on. Hopefully it was that
Can placing it backwards cause your HVAC system to not cool your home properly? I put my name backwards a few days ago and our HVAC system has not been cooling correctly ever since.
This is extremely helpful! Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks you very much
Just saw this and realized I’m a huge dumbass. Got to put the filter in the actual right way. Thank you ^_^ 🙌
Great Video. Thanks!
Thanks 😊👍
right on!!
Thank you

Awesome 👏🏼 😂😂😂ty
Everytime I use the ac water drips from this air filter area do you know what’s causing it?
Ok so just to be clear ~~ on a wall unit the arrow points towards the wall--- correct ?
Yea
@@dvdm4709 thank you ♥️
“The last thing you want is that door to give you a left and right hook”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks so much!
Your welcome 😊👍
Mine is in a 10 foot ceiling and attached with screws. It is really hard to do. I would love to make access easier. It is so hard to hold your arms up holding something heavy for the time it takes to screw in the screws.
Can u use any filter cause I got one from Walmart same size and how long does it take for the air to start back blowing cool
Thanks. It was my first time, and it was a piece of cake thanks to your help!!!! Again thanks🎉🎉
Thanks!!!
Welcome!
Thank youuuuuuu
Welcome
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Thank youuu
You're welcome!
You’re hilarious 😂💕
😊❤️
Thanks, Allah, I see your video, I am not sure , I did correctly to put, My filter, and yes, I did like you did, Thank you so much for making the video, I appreciate it.
👍😊
Well to normal human beings this is the way that you would think it needs to be installed with the arrow in synch with "air flow". That it is the exact opposite of what it seems to indicate is very cruel. Yep been doin' it wrong too.
👍👍👍👍
Mine is 20X24, but Costco has only 20X25. Why the sizes are not standard?
How often should you be replacing the ac filter? I’ve been living in my house for 3 years and just realized this needed to be done…😅
Why do you have to turn the unit off if it only takes 5-10 seconds to change? Will I damage my system by leaving it on for these 5-10 seconds?
its funny that he's talking like news anchors lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣😅
I swear i told myself i didn't need to watch this because i figured how hard could installing a filter be but i was wrong.
could this by why our ac isnt cooling as well? theres barely any air shooting through our ceiling vents
I’m having the same exact problem it’s blowing little air and not cold
How often should I change this?
its recommended at the most every 90 days, but it can be changed monthly or bi monthly.
Theres people that really dont know how to do this?? I should know the answer to that since Im an HVAC tech 😂 and as said HVAC tech WE THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO 😃
Thank you! you are the real MVP 💪😁👍
@@StatUpBox Lol well I appreciate the compliment but WE as techs definitely really appreciate the videos because a lot of people don’t understand how important filter changes are, or just dont know so, this video reaches even one person, it helps 😁
@@williamlyons3947 lol yep! Or claim they “just changed it a couple days ago” and when you look at it, you KNOW its atleast been 6 months 🤭 theres an hvac shirt out there that says “Im silently judging your filter changing schedule” 😆
Im stupid okay
@@jaayg6 😆 I wont judge you too much
Okay I think I put in my air filter the wrong way
My filter doesn’t have an arrow…
you can use the direction of the filter as well
