I watched the movie he made with Doris Day recently. Gosh he was SUCH a hunk. I would have ditched Rock Hudson and gone with Clint. No contest there.....You are missed Mr. Walker.
I am watching the reruns of that show. His character had such a compassionate heart, and yes, Mr. Clint Walker was true a heart throb. He was so very handsome.
Omg, I love this! I always wondered who sang the theme song...and now I know! Thanks for posting another sweet tribute to a great man...he is sorely missed...
So wonderful to know he settled down in the spectacularly beautiful town of Grass Valley, Ca., a community that would love, appreciate, and protect dear Mr. Walker.
Hi deb. Thanks so much for all the clint stuff you ve done. Whenever I get to feeling hopeless about the way our world is going. I go back. And clint is my first point of contact. Everything about the man exudes goodness. Do you think he ever got crabby.. yah he s human. But I like to think what we saw in clint was his 90% of the time personality. I miss what he stood for. That time in America when we were still innocent. Im not a prude . But I'm a pretty righteous guy. So I see my time here as important. What I say and how I conduct myself is really important. I think Clint thought that way to. GOD BLESS YOU. DJ
Thank you, Dave. He DID exude goodness, not just on screen but in real life because he was a good man. He always tried to do the right thing and if he committed to something, he gave it his all. He could have made a lot of money if he'd been willing to compromise his values but he refused to do so. He had a strong moral compass and the integrity never to stray from that path. He wasn't a perfect man but he was darn near close.
I grew up with it in the 1960s and really liked his character as a role model. I wish a movie could be done to make closure on the franchise that should've stayed on TV for at least 8 yrs or more. Each segment would show his decendants doing great things in an honorable way. RIP Clint Walker and Kirby Grant as Sky King as well.
He is so missed. God bless him & his family. He stood for all the things a man should be. We need more like him.
Thank you for posting this music. Fabulous TV series and Clint Walker what a wonderful man you were. Miss you RIP. XXX

I know. I feel the same way. I still don't want to believe he's gone.
Always wondered who sang this terrific song. Thanks for letting us know.

The Lone Ranger, Tonto, and Cheyenne . The absolute best role model for kids, and it didn't hurt the adults either.
The best TV Western theme song
Clint walker "Cheyenne".
He was my Hero!!! When i was a child.
It would have been amazing if they would have had Mr. Walker sing the theme song! Loved it when he sang on the show!
That would have been great!!!
What a beautiful song.
