This is just beautiful...so poignant and moving...the perfect song for "remembering" the most special show with the most special man...causes tears to flow for what we had and what we've lost. Thank you.
Takes me back so long long ago . An era of curtesy, good manners and knowing what being civilized is . A time when television was clean and descent with greats stories and great stars who also treated their many fans with dignity and respect . My how times have changed ....sigh! Thank you so much for this video it brought back so many wonderful family memories , when we all sat around the television set to watch our heroes and Mr Clint Walker was the perfect role model for any child , both on screen and off . Many thanks for this .....appreciated .
He was born and raised in a little town just approx 5 miles from where I grew up. When I was a young boy now ( 68 ) my mother took to the annual "Cheyenne Days" held in Hartfordl IL....his hometown. I was mystified at shaking that great big hand. I will never forget that moment and what it meant to a young boy. They do not make 'em like him anymore.Period
A leading man thoroughly deserving of that leading array of talent on show. Goodbyes are often sad and that certainly applies to those TV series of other days. How rewarding then to have these delightful reminders on RUclips. Thank you.
Aahh so many faces I remember as a kid! Thank you so much for doing this, it's an amazing trip down memory lane for me, can't tell you how it has moved me to see this, didn't know the show had made such an impression on me! Just realising so many things about this.
God bless Clint Walker and almighty God soothe his soul and give him rest. I watched every episode. My dear old Dad watched every single western ever made, but this was our favorite. The sound of the theme song brings back beautiful memories of my family back in the day. He was the epitome of masculinity and I just wanted to grow up strong and decent like him. Still working on it. So sad to hear of his passing and I hope his loved ones are at peace with the knowledge, he is in heaven with the Father. God bless, rest in peace and thank you for the memories.
When I was a kid my dad had only a handful of shows that he watched faithfully. Have Gun Will Travel, Combat, Gunsmoke....and Cheyenne. You pulled me back for a moment or two of some fond memories watching them together. Thanks
More than a handsome face and muscled body, Mr. Walker was a man of great moral fiber and integrity, kind and gentle, a perfect role model. His beautiful voice is now part of the Heavenly choir. God blessed him with a long, fruitful, happy life. Rest well.
Thank goodness for classic television cable channels. They REALLY cater to those of age who remember truly great TV shows. My introduction to the western started with Cheyenne and Clint Walker (R.I.P.). A tall, adventurous sort of a man seeking his place in the Old West. That theme song also brings back memories, so innocent and reassuring that Cheyenne Bodie will triumph over adversity again. And thank you for presenting the video. The guest stars also shined on that program, too.
WONDERFUL VIDEO!!! It's surely a labor of love as it must have taken you so much time to go back and research all the guest stars of years and years on the Cheyenne episodes. Great Job, Deb! You got them all!!
+debco12 ---Here I go again, the tears are flowing again...you put so much effort (lovingly) into these videos for us to enjoy. Words seem so inadequate to just say THANK YOU !, if I could say it in Spanish or another language I would, but I've not been blessed YET, so have to settle with Via Con Dios. (Theo, too). Clint lucked out when you guys came along !!
Gald they showed Vaughn Taylor, he was in 2 of my favorite episodes. This was a great show with a lot of terrific people in it. Made possible by Warner Bros and Clint Walker.
Thanks so much for this. AS I was watching I was thinking, "What about so-and-so...?" And you got them all. So many amazing actors & actresses came through this show.
What I've noticed to date about the sad demise of Mr Clint Walker is that no-one, but really no-one, has any a bad word to say about him. Not one person! That, in itself, says all you need to know about Mr Clint Walker (PBUH). MsG
Watching this again makes me feel that I would love to be present (in heaven) when all these folks gather together someday to discuss their recalltions of their parts in 'Cheyenne'....what a party that would be !!! .
It's amazing hoe many emerging artists and "old time" stars were guests. Some, like Richard Reeves, seemed to have appeared on almost every show on TV in those days.
now Cheyenne is gone - but I still watch him on the Western Channel - me 68 - I still have a autographed picture he sent me back in '56 - God until this day wish I had his body growing up - I was & still short & teased but he taught us lessons from his show until this very day - RIP Cheyenne
I recognized all the faces except maybe for two, but it was my era from 12 years old to maybe 17 I tried not to miss an episode, after that I was off to college and did not do a lot of television watching!! But many thanks to all and thank you Mr. Walker for being you!! Hope you made a lot of money!!

No, "Bronco" and "Sugarfoot" were separate series and the characters only appeared with Clint in one episode of "Cheyenne". Duel at Judas Basin, Season 5, episode 7. "Bronco" was created when Clint Walker, tired and fed up with the long hours he was working, walked off the series.
