  • In this video, I go fishing for sharks with my friend Milo to test out some new rods and reels. We had an action packed day and caught a variety of different species.

    Rod: Okuma PCH XH 7'6", 30-60lb line rating
    Reel: Penn Fathom 25NLD2
    Main line: 50lb Powerpro - depth hunter braid
    Leader: 50lb mono leader
    Hook: 5/0 Gamakatsu circle hooks
    Bait: Cut frozen herring

    Fished that spot from shore and big leapords all day. Might have to try that pier

    I like your vids but i never do catch n release ...I like eating fish too much to do catch n release. i cant afford it. Thanks Tru

      Thanks! I'm usually out there fishing to bring home something to eat too, it's not often I'll go out for a day of catch & release but I have enough fish in the freezer to eat at the moment.

    How deep were you fishing? We’re you anchored or drifting?

      Around 20-50ft. Wherever we found marks and yes we were anchored.

    Should wear gloves for safety
