With Far Cry 3, players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island. In this savage paradise, where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles they choose to fight to the allies or enemies they make along the way. As Jason Brody, players will slash, sneak and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of morality.

Almost 10 years and still the greatest farcry I ever played
Far cry 4 was great but the the main characters and villains just do not compare, the side characters were pretty interesting and more varied so I’ll give them that but the personality of Jason, Vaas, and even Hoyt was just more layered then Ghale

Jason's voice is perfect here better than he had in the game. I mean Jason's voice actor ginapaolo was really good to play along but this voice suits better with his face.
The original voice actor was Elias Toufexis. His most famous role is Adam Jensen in Deux Ex. In fact that's the reason he was let go. Ubisoft worried that players would be hearing Jensen instead of Jason. So, Gianpaolo Venuta took over. Elias was pretty annoyed with this, describing it as "losing work because Jensen was so popular."

When I played this game 8 years ago I enjoyed a lot. I can say it was not just playing but living Jason’s story.

Eh dunno, here Jason acts like Nathan Drake lite, and the setting is quite generic. What we got is better.
jason wasn't suppose to start off as a badass like in this trailer. he had to work his way up
@@justjoking9103 i think that too, the Farcry3 want us to see something more realistic and dark because that what it is in real life, pirates kill people and make them suffer. But it still some interesting alternative start I wonder what it could look like

It would’ve been interesting if there was a cut scene after the game credits where Jason finds the DJ, where he and friends met back in Hong Kong at night club, goes back to that same night club, and kicks his ass. 🙃

They really wanted to have Dubstep in this game, in was the hit in 2012, but this sounds more like Noisia, and not Skrillex, i think Noisia fits better actually
And you can even tell the Dubstep influenced the soundtrack in the game
