I’ve watched almost every video and I still can’t figure out if they have an biases towards certain brands.
Maaaaybe Mizuno but only because Chris Voshal is such a regular character on the channel but even then you don’t see them pumping up Mizuno clubs a lot.

will save you the trouble Adam, we don't. We respect performance, could care less what brand it comes from. You will see inside access and exclusives from certain brands at times, but that's because they've been good enough to grant us that - if we could get that access from every company we'd be super happy

@@mazzerattimike8695 I’m definitely considering the Bettinardi wedges. So few companies make forged wedges and theirs looks the best. I’m between them and Mizuno T20. Bettinardi looks nicer and I like the milled grind, but costs a bit more and you can’t get as much custom options. Only one grip to choose from. If the feel of the Zipcore is nice I might go with them

@@adamboyle3331 Hogan also makes forged wedges with the Equalizer line. Ping has the glide forged but the Bettinardi and Cleveland look better than the Ping. There are not many, though.

SM7 was probably my fifth or sixth generation of Vokeys and I loved them. I decided to try these after seeing this and some other reviews and was amazed how good they are, though I have only played two rounds with them so far. I got a 54 deg Full and 60 deg Mid and have never had Vokeys feel or spin like these do. The shaft is probably a big part of it. I guess we’ll see when the SM9s come out, but I expect at least a year of great wedge play. If only I could putt.

Knew this was coming when Cleveland sent out an email offering RTX-4s at $99 stock a few weeks ago. With a modest upgrade to graphite shaft, midsize grip, and a bit of color the price was still below prior full retail for the 58*, replacing an RTX-3. Just went back online to do the same thing with the 50* and 54* after two rounds and a range session with the new 58. Great deal on some fine clubs, and the new model looks at least as impressive.

I figured as much as well. Just picked up a few RTX4's for the $99 price tag online. I don't mind being a half or whole version behind the current stuff as I'm not a touring pro but there are some good deals to be had on the slightly old stuff.

Srixon/ Cleveland had a demo day at our course a couple weeks ago. I was able to peel the wrapper off a Tour raw 56. Felt really good, and the spin was higher than the SM7 I’m playing. Probably because my wedge is a year old. I will be picking up a set of these at some point this year. ⛳️🏌🏽‍♂️

Just swapped out my 58 zipcore for a 58 full face zipcore (1 degree higher at 59 and 1 degree flatter.)
I tested them pretty hard against each other and found that on short 20-30 yards chips, the full face was consistently getting more spin, often as much as 1000 revs more. I’m never giving up spin around the green so I have made the swap.
I never hit further than 50 yards with my 59* (would always play a gentle 55* for 50+ yards) so the looks don’t offend me at all. I wouldn’t want to take full swings with it, just cos it looks too big. But for little chips and bunkers I am super impressed tbh.
Cleveland make some of the best wedges IMO, and this just adds another good option.
