    Haven't read much on the subject but I wonder what will happen if you don't follow the rule? The way I see it the owner of the document could request that you take down the video but it wouldn't be in their best interest so why would they do anything against you?

      The suggestion of the EU without even knowing any solution is to implement a giant upload filter that blocks any formal training copyrighted material. So your video will not be deleted ... it will not published. Hope the potatoes will not eaten as hot as cooked.

      Just an additional thought, as long as your opinion goes 100% with the copyright owner you are fine. But dare, you have a slightly other opinion or compare two competing products your channel can shutdown via copyright strike.

      yeah I see your point, It's often the case, at least in my line of videos to do comparisons and disagree with certain info they provide in the datasheet.

    I imagine it's mostly an issue for scam companies like Broadcom that do everything with NDA datasheets. I highly doubt most companies care about who publishes and explains their products. It basically gives them free sales/marketing exposure.
    Perhaps this will become an issue with content creators that reverse engineer silicon on YT/the internet. Inevitably reverse engineering content will continue to grow and expand in capabilities and scope.
    Ultimately, companies that dispute datasheets and or attempt to limit their distribution, are worthless antiquated businesses anyways. I doubt any major US IC manufacturers care about this kind of crap. These companies are not going to prosecute someone in the EU just because they can, while doing nothing domestically. As to upload filters, you could use a VPN for access, although those are just the corrupt American scam businesses flourishing due to our lack of internet equality laws on this side of the Atlantic.

    The thing is that the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market didn't PASS, it got "approved". It is a huge difference. The final vote is in March/April. Visit saveyourinternet.eu/act to help us stop this legislation.

    guys, I do not understand this. Why you are obeying stupidity? If no one will gives it a shit, it will die a natural way. Just do what you are used to do and let stupid decisions out of your business.

    Could you suggest search words to find the data sheets? It does help if you want to copy a page for the video. Or links on GitHub where the source code, not an EU domain server?

      I search for "part no datasheet" but even google may have problems with regulations in the future i.e. providing links without paying the link tax.

      Think the github code is mostly GPL or similar licensed so this could be included. But not copyrighted material even with a link.

    Totally Agree! Well time to leave the eu for good then! Brexit is the solution for everyone ! I also think kareoke bar's have to close and newspapers/TV's will also have to start paying every single time they mention anything at all!
    Shameful what happened ...time to end the eu for good!

      Your gonna be affected by this art 13 wherever you live , it doesnt matter if you are part of the ue

    • @John_Smith__
      @John_Smith__ 6 лет назад

      Well every single country still has to approve this idiocy to their own country legislation and there it can be totally canceled, so it does not affect any country at all.
      We can still fight this insanity and specially end the eu for all, that would be the most important outcome of this non-sense. The problem is the eu.

  • @John_Smith__
    @John_Smith__ 6 лет назад

    I also have a problem with the Boundaries of the eu legislature ..first Every single country Deny this legislation. It Has to be Voted on every single National Parlament ..second YT is an American Company .... I think the eu legislation can not reach outside the eu ...

    • @pcbreflux
      @pcbreflux  6 лет назад

      But this will effect all eu channels and all eu viewers on YT. The best solution is to implement a similar filter like the PRC filter on YT for the EU (451° f).

    • @John_Smith__
      @John_Smith__ 6 лет назад

      pcbreflux I do not see the problem on that perspective. My case is this: the legislation only affects the content, that is content makers, not the viewers. Anyone is free to view whatever they want .. it's called Freedom of Information/Freedom of Speech ..a basic Universal Fundamental right on every Constitution in every country in Europe. Same as creating whatever content we want ...
      The eu is about only to regulate company made content citations with fees ...
      But if you register somehow a company outside the eu, those cheap offshore Carabean countries are perfect for example, and make your content property of that offshore skeleton company (I can see a business popping up on that area already), then you're eu-safe since the eu can not legislate Foreign companies.
      Viewers can view whatever they want ... we're still not yet on a Total Dictatorship ... although they sure are trying.
      Oh and btw ... the legislation Can Not Affect RUclips or any other Foreign Media company, so what they actually have done is to Kill for good Any chance of Any country belonging to the business agreement that is the decaying eu to Ever had any chance to make a media company.
      Apart from that the best thing you can do is support anti-eu parties in your country ... AfD comes to mind. That's the only way to go: end the eu.
      This legislation is the proof of that.
      The scary part was the voting ... man! The first legislation were proposed by the pirate parties, AfD's UKIP's and I think the greens, and the like. They proposed the eu should not have power to legislative because of freedom of Speech concerns.
      That was totally smashed down !!
      The second vote that did not pass was about I think Making the legislation of course country dependent ... that was totally smashed in a complete and utter power grab ! This only proves the eu is all about dictatorship and power takeover!
      Some other milder control control versions ...failed to pass.
      And then the Orwellian legislation passed!!
      There is only one solution ... end the eu.

      Looks like a new project to me, lets maybe call it for no real purpose ... google project dragonfly

    • @John_Smith__
      @John_Smith__ 6 лет назад

      pcbreflux Yup .. Dragonfly is the search engine control filter to the dictatorship of China ... gov total control of information.
      I do not trust goo one bit, they are as bad any other censor, the last few day on zerohedge as been proven they hugely manipulate content and they always side on the content censors and dictators. ... project dragonfly is the best proof of that same stance. No wonder a company _Made_ by the CIA and NSA ...
      www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-28/how-cia-made-google
      www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-29/why-google-made-nsa
      no wonder there ... I think what everyone is doing is to move away and above all make all your viewers create accounts on alternative media distribution companies ... the best thing we can do ... create accts and use bitchute/minds and the like.
