Thank you for sharing. My big shot pro broke & I was heartbroken! My husband took it apart but could not salvage it. I was deciding between the big shot plus or crafter’s companion. My friend has both but mentioned the big shot plus is faster & has less pressure which she prefers so viewing this video & hearing your review I decided to stick with the machine I had for years without a problem. We had a worker who accidentally dropped my machine (have no idea how as the pro is heavy, but never worked correctly after that fall). I am thinking about purchasing a die cut machine. So newbie question here: why would you need a smaller one? Can’t you use the plus for making smaller items or can you not?
@@connieammerman8302 you can use the plus but I have found that it’s a lot of rolling for a small die and the plates really warp fast. I keep my plus for the bigger dies but I like using my regular big shot for everything else. Hope that helps Connie 😊

I am very new to embossing. I have only seen it on RUclips. I just bought my big shot yesterday. I was wondering if there is some resistance when I start to turn handle. I'm afraid I'm going to break it.

When I used it for the first time, I die cut something and whatever I die cut well it left on the die cut plate also. Is that normal? The directions with it was confusing.
Love me some Sizzix machines! I am curious: if you have the Big Shot Plus, what was your reasoning for buying a regular Bit Shot? If the Plus can cut everything the regular can, and then more b/c it is bigger, is there an advantage to having a regular? I did cut all the time as well. I use my Plus. So I truly am interested in your thots about also having the regular. ... Have fun with your machine!
missesk val Yes! You could just buy the bigger one and use the smaller dies with it, but I find it is much easier to use the standard die cut machine for smaller dies. Thanks for stopping by 🤗💜

Scrapdiva29 I have a few different machines. But I love the electronic cutting machine the most. I must say it is the easiest and fastest for me. There is no back and forth. I send it through once and that’s it. I use the Gemini brand and love it. Love your channel!
What may have happened to the little kick is the sealed bearing may have gone bad, due to using too thick of material in the machine. This happened to my big shot. Hubby is handy and figured it out, had to order the part from China last year and now it works. Call or email Sizzix and they can also tell you what part or maybe send you one.

Yes, a little, but make sure you have it on the correct page on your base.
