Oh my goodness this is just wonderful so many things I never realized that you could do and so many products that I didn't even realize we're available I'm just wondering if it would be impossible to show the actual product on the side of the screen the screen when you're demoing it Just helps to remind me of what it's called and what you're actually using.. I need more tutorials on the Metal Vintaj machine. Are there more videos on this as can only find one that is a few seconds long. And can this machine be used for other things not just metal. And can I find metal blanks for it too?, any help appreciated. Thank you
Fabulous video Debbie - loved the tour of the Sizzix embossing products - embossing is one of my favourite techniques and I think Sizzix make the best - just a quick question - could you use the diffusers with the 3D embossing folders - could you use the 3D embossing folder straight onto the platform ( no plate) then the 3D embossing folder with card inside - then the diffuser on top - would this work ? - tempted to try

Super impressive machine. How would one make custom design, i.e., own embossing folder designs to use with Sizzix?
Unfortunately, this would be quite difficult to DIY and I don't think that it would be financially viable to design one via a manufacturer to work with the Sizzix machines just for personal use.

Just found these videos. When my Mum passed I found a Vintaj Big kick machine amongst her craft supplies. I had never seen her use it. Does anyone know if any type of thin tin or metal can be used to impress patterns?

I tried to look at the comments in case I had already ask you this question but can’t see many comments, so in case I haven’t, can you please help me figure out what I’m doing wrong with my Big Shot. We tried to do what you said but we can’t get it to go thru the machine. We tried different things but it just seems too thick. Thanks for your help.

Really helpful video, but when I use two cutting plates with the embossing folder it doesn't go through my big shot. Am I doing something wrong. Best wishes. Jo
Hi Jo! If you are using a Multi-Level or 3D Embossing Folder you will only need one cutting plate in order to make it go through the machine. Hope this helps!
I'm having the same problem with my brand new Sizzix Big Shot. Using the actual Sizzix embossing folder like you showed in this video with the two cutting plates, it will NOT pull it through the machine. Using only one cutting pad it isn't thick enough and it just slides through without touching the rollers. The only way I can get it to work is to use shims and the die adapter and one cutting plate. I shouldn't have to stack so many different things for simple embossing.
Just a question how much this machine cost.iam into this I will to learn thank you for your help
