- The Smashing Pumpkins live at the Ace Theater in Los Angeles. Starts with Spaceboy goes into Today. I tried to avoid the lights as best as possible. James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin join Billy Corgan, Jeff Schroeder and Katie Cole.

my heart just exploded into a million pieces when I saw this.. I am from India, when I was in the States half a decade ago,... got a load of my money together from my Grad student stipend to see him once during the October 2011 tour, but it was never "them"...this time, if its them...I do not care wherever the fuck they perform in the USA, I am coming down to cry and laugh and shout and dance all at the same time...!!

some very cool moments with James and Jeff playing together on that one. This track in particular really shines a light on what contributions James and Jeff make and how different they are.
James=even his bum notes give the song more space/dimension, or Jeff=plays exactly like Billy but slightly worse
+Cody S Totally disagree, their both very talented. Jeff has now developed his own signature
+Travis Travinyle so has Eddie Van Halen but it isn't Pumpkins.
+Cody S Jeffs playing on everything since Zeitgeist the songs written at the residencies like 99 floors, No Surrender and all of the post 2000 albums is quite a body of work with the band, he's a tasteful guitar player, James will always be a part of that orginal magic, but he's not on Oceania or anything Corgan has done in the last 16 years. Jeff has built his own spot. You nostalgia people continue to live in the past. I'm as big a James fan as anyone but don't diminish the work and friendship of Jeff and Billy
+Travis Travinyle people aren't nostalgic just because the songs aren't as good now (by far). They're tasteful. Seeing a fifty year old Billy play Bullet...THAT is what nostalgia is.

I really love how James isn't like most musicians that need to have the former guitar player leave the stage to play, he has Jeff play lead and he just accompanies Billy and Jeff for the most part, so humble. Smashing Pumpkins are quickly becoming my favorite band and I could have totally gotten into them earlier but failed lol.

+Jamez My heart bleeds for D'Arcy. I wonder if she has been able to clean up her life, it was a shame what went down with her but maybe she's happy just the same. It's none of my dam business I just figured maybe she could use a little compassion. She sure had it all back in the day. Makes you wonder if given that huge success maybe it was all too much(for her). May the good Lord keep her safe and well.
