To be fair Lewis did several episodes of Farming Simulator doing a "farmer" voice. He has much practice in his vocal endurance lol. Always a great time
I can't believe pyrion stuck to his british persona the entire game too! it was a bit exaggerated at the beginning but it was so realistic it was like a actual englishman was before us
Ben: "The winner can make a regroup move; roll D6 and move that many inches." Lewis: *gasp* "We can get in a building!" Ben: *continues reading rules* "You can not enter a building." Lewis: "aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!"
Games night has to be my absolute favourite channel going. Love the attention to detail and condensed format of the edits, but also happy with some of the longer vids from back in the day. Honestly love the fact the yogs put these together for us even when theres very little monetary incentive to do so
I think for them its a bonus. They get to play games they love and get some quality content out of it. Also since the models are part of their job... Tax deductible?
The format of mixing live recordings with post commentary really helps me (a noob) follow what's going on. Lovely touch with the little animations too. More, please!
I just want to say that Pyrion's British look really nicely done. And can't wait for more, really pleased to see more content coming out of Games Night. Oh and almost forgot the meme ReLeAsE tHe FuLl ViDeO
I just found these and honestly, I love getting to see the joy and strategy going on without spending 4+ hours watching. Really top-notch editing, great energy and explanation, definitely can't wait for more!
It wasn't the Soviets who called the Pak 36 the "door-knocker"- it was the Germans, because of the weapon's ineffectiveness against heavy tanks [Char B1, Matilda II, KV-1]; it was effective against most tanks of the period 1939-1941. Fun contrast: the USA also had a door knocker- {edit- no idea what happened; part of the reply fell away}, anyway the US door knocker was the 155 mm Gun Motor Carriage M12, so called because when it fired directly at the front of a bunker the back door was knocked down. A minor comment, made more for the algorithm than anything else.
I think this is *the* best format of battle report videos for all audiences out there. 40k In 40 Minutes from play on tabletop tries to do something similar but with nowhere near the same level of finesse - it's the post game narration edited into the gameplay that really makes it work. Would *love* to see more of these for any wargame really.
I like to imagine the SAS commander didn't just leave, but was instead wounded and the third squad was a rescue mission to get both him and the briefcase out of there
God, I love y'all's Bolt Action stuff. Scratches a wargaming itch that I didn't even realize I had. And the condensed format makes for addictive viewing. More? Please?
These 20 min roundups are great! But I wish there was more stuff regularly on this channel. More Tom 'Tomfoolery' Clark game mastering, salty sessions of secret cylon, and barely comprehensible digital board games that Duncan is to baked to understand! Come on guys, I know you want to!
What we need is another call of Cthulhu campaign or the like. Tom is such a succinct yet descriptive story teller as well as just a understanding and chill DM. Not to mention I'd love to see more of Ben role playing after his debut as the loveable and wholesome Hollywood director. The Christmas special was great but just a little too loose on the rules and lacking in concept in my opinion, still very enjoyable though.
I LOVE these- everything about them, from getting to enjoy action and commentary from EVERY stage of the game in condense form, to the excellent fucking camera work and effects, to simply being able to enjoy a game I can't play on my own because my friend group doesn't like it. MORE PLEASE.
Not sure when this was recorded, in relation to Joes moving to content creation. But the editing was once again top notch. Making board games feel more alive for mere spectators ain't easy feat. Of course the battleboys have their chemistry that works so nicely in these kind of projects especially.
I was in *tears* at the accents and the funny little things you guys were using to describe the scenes that took place here. Please Sirs, may we have some more?
Yaaaaaaaaaas Lovely battle report, one of the best made bolt action videos in RUclips. Was excited for this since Pyrion and Lewis talked about it in triforce. P.S. thank you Joe for the great production!!
Yeay! my Favourite Yogs content! I really think to give these as much reach as possible each BR should be try and be something special...like for example if you do this again you set it during the Battle of the Bugle? On an important Bridge? Or maybe on a beach in Normandy on D-Day itself?! Other Battle ideas are... 1) 600 point Star Wars Armada 'Battle of Endor' recreation. With a SSD of course... 2) Horus Heresy Thousand Sons v the Space Wolves on the cursed soils of Prospero... 3) New Necromunda Ash wastes battle (Possibly Sponsored by the great GW...?!) 4) Konflct '47 Mecha WW2 match (Because who doesn't like Mecha) 5) A Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game match! Rohan v Isenguard of course... And possible a 'One Page Rules' game. It's the new hotness. Best guys.
A top quality battle report, as always! Loved the weapon effects, editing, as well as the general positivity and happy-go-lucky vibe of it all. Props to Pyrion for painting up a great looking army, he’s done an absolutely spiffing job on those lads.
Love these vids lads, thanks for playing and then editing it down. The interactions during the game was top form. Hopefully you guys will do more. Takecare. Regards.
Loved the story you guys made and the use of editing and little visual effects really helped show what was happening (who was shooting who, etc). I would recommend using the different lighting at the end of turn evaluations but other than that I thought the video was really entertaining.
YES! I've been excited to see more Bolt Action ever since they talked about Pyrion coming to Bristol to play it around the start of the year on the Tri-Force Podcast. Great stuff boys, loving every minute of it.
Firing through vision slits a myth mostly, they had bulletproof glass (with fast replaceable glass panels from the inside in case they crack) and armored covers. Actual holes to fire through were pistol/firing ports and were closable from inside.
of course tanks weren’t tea-proofed until later, after the results of the Spanish Civil War and the Winter War which coined the iconic weapon “Moltov’s Teabag”
I was just thinking the editing was top-notch and reminded me of Joe's style, but I wasn't sure if he was still editing for the team. Then he popped up on screen to take some photos! I guess this must've been from a while ago and they had it lined up to go. Fun vid! Makes me want to pick up some Bolt Action lads.
These are PERFECT! It has always been a struggle to find wargaming content that Isn't either a long slog to watch, or that cuts out the parts I find most interesting, and you seem to have cracked it!
I love the graduations on the cromwell's turret, though im not sure if cromwells were used as artillery support tanks. I believe typically it was Centaur tanks that were used for that role
Lewis committed to the German accent the whole 2 hours, much respect
Lewis will seize any opportunity to brutalise everyone with his horrendous accents, the man loves it.
That HoI series long ago was great with them doing accents.
To be fair Lewis did several episodes of Farming Simulator doing a "farmer" voice. He has much practice in his vocal endurance lol. Always a great time
I was impressed with the intro, and then it transcended to dad-joke levels (it was amazing lol)
I can't believe pyrion stuck to his british persona the entire game too! it was a bit exaggerated at the beginning but it was so realistic it was like a actual englishman was before us
really love these battle reports, the little SFX are really fun. Just starting bolt action myself and it's getting me quite hyped.
Ben: "The winner can make a regroup move; roll D6 and move that many inches."
Lewis: *gasp* "We can get in a building!"
Ben: *continues reading rules* "You can not enter a building."
Lewis: "aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!"
I almost spat my drink out when this happened!
Games night has to be my absolute favourite channel going. Love the attention to detail and condensed format of the edits, but also happy with some of the longer vids from back in the day. Ditto
It's lowkey my favourite part of yogscast. Especially fond of the Necromunda campaign with Poo Lagoon and all that :D
Games Night's been a favorite for me for a long time. Glad to see it going strong again. These newest vids are so well-made.
I think for them its a bonus. They get to play games they love and get some quality content out of it.
Also since the models are part of their job... Tax deductible?
I’m real happy they made it into a condensed format, is action-packed that way
The editing on this was spectacular!
The format of mixing live recordings with post commentary really helps me (a noob) follow what's going on. Lovely touch with the little animations too. More, please!

I Love how they cut to Joe with a camera on the snake eyes, instead of the snake eyes shot he got 😂
It wasn't the Soviets who called the Pak 36 the "door-knocker"- it was the Germans, because of the weapon's ineffectiveness against heavy tanks [Char B1, Matilda II, KV-1]; it was effective against most tanks of the period 1939-1941.

the Yanks got him before he could tell us 😔
F for ya boi
Yes!! More Bolt Action! It was you guys that sparked my interest in it with your last video :D
Zis is just vat I needed at zis juncture. Sehr gut!
I think this is *the* best format of battle report videos for all audiences out there.

I said it befire and I'll say it again, I do love these cut down battle reports! Great work painting your lads P.Flax
I love these they cut out all the busy work and almost make me want to take up wargaming
Gotta love when the yogscast actually finds something they genuinely enjoy
God, I love y'all's Bolt Action stuff. Scratches a wargaming itch that I didn't even realize I had. And the condensed format makes for addictive viewing.
More? Please?
I loooooove these. I always crack up when Pyrion RPs old-timey Brits too.

The Christmas special was great but just a little too loose on the rules and lacking in concept in my opinion, still very enjoyable though.
Love the way you present a long game for better story telling - makes it really fun to follow along, without getting bogged down in bookrules :D
I LOVE these- everything about them, from getting to enjoy action and commentary from EVERY stage of the game in condense form, to the excellent fucking camera work and effects, to simply being able to enjoy a game I can't play on my own because my friend group doesn't like it. MORE PLEASE.
Such a good formula, best battel reports on RUclips
The little effects and sounds make this video really easy to follow and fun as hell
Not sure when this was recorded, in relation to Joes moving to content creation.
But the editing was once again top notch. Making board games feel more alive for mere spectators ain't easy feat. Of course the battleboys have their chemistry that works so nicely in these kind of projects especially.

Love the Dad’s Army quote.
Yaaaaaaaaaas

Props to Pyrion for painting up a great looking army, he’s done an absolutely spiffing job on those lads.
Excellent game, even better editing. This is one of the best games night videos ever
The quality of this video is great. More battle reports! Maybe of smaller skirmish games like Frostgrave and Stargrave! But just more more more!
Love these vids lads, thanks for playing and then editing it down. The interactions during the game was top form. Hopefully you guys will do more. Takecare. Regards.
This is the best battle report you have done. It was really easy to follow. I hope you do more. You really have it down.
Oh I love this sort of thing, these battle reports, keep it up!
I love these tabeltop miniatures games, we need more of them, they are so much fun to watch.
There's not enough bolt action battle reports on RUclips and the style that you guys do them in is just great! Keep them coming 🙏👍
Loved the story you guys made and the use of editing and little visual effects really helped show what was happening (who was shooting who, etc). I would recommend using the different lighting at the end of turn evaluations but other than that I thought the video was really entertaining.
love it, Pyrion is great at doing voices
Glad to see pyrion was taught the basic rules of tabletop gaming - new model syndrome is real
I love being able to watch these in cut up edited formats, even if it's a lot of editing effort!
This and your previous Bolt Action video is actually making me want to play it...
These videos are my favourite when it comes to wargaming, I can't wait for the next one!
Games Night! Yes! This and Arm Chair Admirals keep my boat afloat.
Great to see more Bolt Action and even better for yogs playing it.
Loving this! Nice and cut down, and really fun!
Pleaaase more Bolt Action like this. What a great format.
I love this!!!! Please more short "digestible" Battle reports.
I'm glad Ben's there adding a story narrative, very fun
Love the Bolt Action battle reports, hope to see more. Combined with the editing and hilarious players, its the reason I subscribed!
Love these games night videos, the editing is always so good!
Fantastic battlereport, and I love seeing more bolt action!
love the commentary and the editing with the little *pew pew*
This format is really digestible for someone like me who has no experience with wargaming. Great job!
YES! I didn’t think they would post another game of bolt action (or any table top war game) but this is a pleasant surprise!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bolt Action is a fantastic game and Im so glad you guys are playing it on the channel!
Absolutely would love more of this!
YES! I've been excited to see more Bolt Action ever since they talked about Pyrion coming to Bristol to play it around the start of the year on the Tri-Force Podcast. Great stuff boys, loving every minute of it.
This was awesome, full credit to the editor(s). More please!
These videos are so cool. Keep them coming.
Honestly some of the most engaging wargaming content on the internet, love this format to bits!
Amazing production quality, would love to see more!
Amazing! More of this kind of content, love it!
This was great! Reminds me of the necromonda days.
YESSS! I have been hoping for more wargames with the bois! Led by glorious Sharky bon. Thank you!
love the battle reports got me into bolt action👌
Really love these battle reports
Man, this terrain is so good. The houses look incredible
More of this please!! Fantastic, would love to see you playing it live
Absolutely love these vids, the editing is fantastic and the all round energy is very entertaining!
These battle reports are so fun! Keep them coming!
I love the idea that when the British swarmed the tank, they just poured tea in and the inexperienced crew panicked thinking it was petrol.
Editing was great on this, just enough live dice rolls. Probably perfect battle report format.
Love seeing Joe casually taking photos of the situation while these 3 nerds were popping off
Firing through vision slits a myth mostly, they had bulletproof glass (with fast replaceable glass panels from the inside in case they crack) and armored covers. Actual holes to fire through were pistol/firing ports and were closable from inside.
of course tanks weren’t tea-proofed until later, after the results of the Spanish Civil War and the Winter War which coined the iconic weapon “Moltov’s Teabag”
Always love it when another Bolt Action battle report come around.
Super awesome! But pls do the red and blue background, that was very helpful
Damn these videos are some of the best you've made, absolutely love them
Yes! Another battle report! I love these!

Really love this, I know it's not too easy with Pyrion living in London, but would love to see more
Absolutly love these battle reports!
I always love watching these and would love to see more!!
Props to the editors, great fun!
I adore these vids. Keep em comin' please, lads!
The editing in this was so smooth!
I need 50 more of these, liquified and pumped directly into my bloodstream
Amazing, super entertaining.
Always love these videos, keep it up!

Finalllllllly more battle reports love them please keep doing them
These are PERFECT!
Loved it! Hope to see more battle reports :)
Great job lads, tons of fun. Great editing.
Love these battle reports, really appreciate you making them. Love the content this channel has put out, and would love to see more!
