Doesn’t make logical sense though. If he was 8% bodyfat, that means his lean body mass with no fat at all (which is impossible), would be 212 lbs. So at 185 he would have to lose at least 30 lbs of muscle (probably more) to make weight. I do speak from experience here, in my picture i was 15-16% bodyfat with way more visible abs than Pereira. These machines that measures your bodyfat seems to not be accurate at all, because it just doesn’t make sense visually or logically.
Since we are on the topic of Alex Pereira being so healthy weighing 230 instead of drained at 185, 125 lb fighters no doubt weigh over 135+ so why not get rid of 125? Or, restructure the weight classes like this for example: 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220 Why 20 lb increments? Well, why 10 lb increments? Why go from 155 to 170 to 185? that’s 15 lbs in between.
Tf are you talking about 20 pound increments gives way too wide a range of weights the reason why the gaps get higher is bcuz 1 there’s less fighters at higher weights bcuz most bigger ppl go into different sports that’s why most heavyweights are out of shape then at the top you see the real athletes also the bigger you are the more weight you can cut
Some fight with intentions of switching their opponent's light off and getting a performance bonus. Chael's idea of winning a fight is to "wear him down."

I absolutely LIVE to hear uncle Chael butcher last names!!
I think Alex goes for the same flying knee. No one can take that. You saw how Israel took a straight knee. He almost folded there if Alex had locked his fingers
It isn’t just some random somebody, he’s fighting a former lightweight champ, so let’s see what he’s got
Lifting numbers are for your coaches only...everybody knows the rules!
Since we are on the topic of Alex Pereira being so healthy weighing 230 instead of drained at 185, 125 lb fighters no doubt weigh over 135+ so why not get rid of 125?
Or, restructure the weight classes like this for example: 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220
Why 20 lb increments? Well, why 10 lb increments? Why go from 155 to 170 to 185? that’s 15 lbs in between.
Tf are you talking about 20 pound increments gives way too wide a range of weights the reason why the gaps get higher is bcuz 1 there’s less fighters at higher weights bcuz most bigger ppl go into different sports that’s why most heavyweights are out of shape then at the top you see the real athletes also the bigger you are the more weight you can cut
Chael has so much respect for Pee Era
Btw he was a lightheavy weight champion in kickboxing, but who am i to correct the man with the biggest biceps in Oregon
Perhaps he should try HW without cutting weight instead of LHW.
Best hype piece so far
Some fight with intentions of switching their opponent's light off and getting a performance bonus.
Chael's idea of winning a fight is to "wear him down."
Alex quote easily lands shots on izzy who is the hardest guy to hit. This light heavyweights better be able to take him down
It’s always a plethora.
Hardly agree with Chael but he's speaking the truth here. Good luck to the new opponent
Good video !!!!
He makes sense
alex gona be an absolute terror for all of the 205 boys
Naw Hill will chin check him
Palethra he really out did himself this time
Uncle Chael would brutalize Alex,no holds barred, anywhere, anytime. Undefeated,Undisputed Champion Chael.
Maybe a 4.5 40. But a 4.5 100 would be superhuman! Only Chael can do a 4.5 100 💯
Not Just somebody… we’re talking about Jan blachowicz who’s granite probably walks around the same weight as pereira as well.
It’d be a different conversation if we was talking about anyone else but him because that’s a TOUGH 1st person to fight in a new weight class we saw what happened to Luke Rockhold (another former middleweight champion of the world) & this is arguably stylistically the hardest person Alex can be matched up with as well apart from maybe magomed magomedov
Poatan should have fought Rico and all the KB Hws in Glory before switching over.
Alex pereira is that dude! Thanks for the vid uncle chael.
They all gas out in the first round when they go up. I don't have any reason to believe Pierra will be different.
Chael talking about a polethra of types of guys I was waiting for Tony Ferguson to come up. Nope just Pierra 🤷🏻♂️
Infamous "palethra" makes a come back
Greg Doucette video incoming…
You know it lol
Chael reps 230 in each arm for dumbell presses
Bro, I don't care. Uncle Chael is the fucking Goat.
Who is Apex Pereira 😂😂? Uncle Chael has no mercy
