Thanks for the support! Means a lot coming from a channel I really admire. Definitely worth a go atleast once. But I’m excited to try their new business class debuting this Fall!
Another great flight review! I've heard that AA serves a really good ice cream sundae in business/first class, maybe just on the Miami or JFK routes? I'll be trying AA international business class next year, your video got me more excited for it.
You should post a video! Would love to see it! And hopefully you get either the Super Diamond config OR one of the new business class seats AA is installing this Fall
Thats really cool to know! I honestly had no clue if I was getting the Zodiac or the Super Diamond config before walking on the plane 😅 Did you end up in a rear facing seat?
Explanation. Well done on your video, Mark, but you were not on a transcon flight from LAX to CLT, so this explains why flights from LAX to JFK and MIA have a higher level of service on American. Transcon means ocean to ocean. You'll find exceptionally good service particularly on the LAX to JFK route. Try First Class on American's A321T (T for Transcon) between JFK and LAX and you'll see the difference.
Having flown business class internationally with United, Delta, and American, I found that I had the best experience with United Polaris. The food was the best of the 3 and the Saks pillow and comforter provided the the best sleeping experience, at least in my opinion.
United easily has the best bedding of the three major airlines, agreed. I also enjoy United's consistency with Polaris where it's the same product regardless of aircraft. Compared to Delta which has 5-7 variants of Delta One and AA has 2 variants of AA First/Business. Still need to fly Delta One and then can finally post a comparison video!
My experience there was quite enjoyable. Flew from LAX to PHX then on to CLT. I arrived there noonish and got straight into the Admirals Club with no problems, not too crowded and plenty of eats and cocktails. I suppose it’s just a crapshoot and my experience is purely anecdotal. No way to quantify the overall quality in such a small sample.🙄
Thanks for watching! AA has select routes that change all the time that have lie-flat seats so I had to take a quick reposition flight from SFO to LAX to take this flight. AwardWallet has really in depth articles on routes that have lie flat across all 3 airlinrs.
99.9% it's those "glorified premium economy seats" that you mentioned. But there's a few domestic routes such as the ones I showed here where they fly their wide body jets!
Might be a dumb question but I just upgraded to first class and business class on a connector to Mexico for my honeymoon, all the other reviews I’ve watched the seats looked like regular seats with more leg room lol is that just based on which plane you get on or what because this look way different😂
@@LionsSuperbowl24 hey I just realized I gave wrong info! I thought this was a comment on my Aeromexico video Basically to fly this on AA you need to be flying on a wide body like a Boeing 777 aircraft! Best way to check is the seat map. If you see an aircraft with First Class with a 2-2 configuration its the typical donestic first class. If you see a 1-2-1 configuration, it’ll most likely be lie flat like this video
Beautiful......? But Need complete 💯✅ Private cabin first callas American Airlines. Same to UAE Emirates Airlines First callas service 👍💯 Excellent. Total Private system 🙏
✈️ Which is the best: United, American, or Delta???
I prefer american
American
Great video Mark👏 looking forward to next part☺️ I really must try an American Airline as well✈️

@@__withMark Good idea! Thankfully I'll have time to up my camera & food critique game to your level haha far from it now.
I flew this exact route earlier this year. It was a great experience. They also have the 777 in the Zodiac configuration which is ... Interesting
Thats really cool to know! I honestly had no clue if I was getting the Zodiac or the Super Diamond config before walking on the plane 😅

@@__withMark I've flow both configurations on the LAX-CLT route. The config you flew is superior (more private).
Great to know I ended up with the superior product! Thanks for watching

Well definitely try true transcontinental when the new AA biz class starts flying

Brrro the American Airlines image with barcode one min into the video was the dopest part of the video.
Haha I appreciate it! Made the animation myself so I'm also very proud of it
American's hub at CLT is the worst airport experince. It's human gridlock. Also, the Admiral's Club is too crowded.
+1 I was stuck in CLT overnight right after this video 🥲
I’m headed to CLT next week
Lol, will be flying MSY to LHR via CLT in march. Basically back home to the UK

This is my hometown airport and as a frequent flyer, I 100% agree that it's one of the worst airports in the United States.
Great review and champagne at brekky cant beat that i didnt know they flew B777s on a route like that

@@__withMarkYep we took a flight on a 787-8 from Chicago to LAX in business class it was really nice
lol the flight attendant was literally my flight attendant from CLT to DTW today.
She was fantastic! Crazy coincidence though lol
correction.
LAX to Boston gets bedding too.
👍🏽
Wait American Airlines does actual first class domestically, thought it was just the glorified premium economy seats for domestic

Check aircraft type! We flew a 787-9 in this video. The 787-8 is the business class that’s basically just more leg room.
@@__withMark damn man I have a connecting flight one on a Embraer 175 and another on a 737-800 lol I don’t think they look like this😂

Delta One Cabin has their own suites with sliding doors. You cannot compete
AA’s New Business Class with sliding doors coming in 2025… 🤔
Only on certain aircraft do they have doors
Delta 🕺🏽
🫢🔥
Jetblue 4sure transcon

ill be real you havent been on delta one if you think AA is the best.
Delta One coming eventually to the channel 🫡
United ftw
I see you
But what airline should you take if you're not going to Fort Worth?
this is going to hurt the delta loyalists 🤫
I’m ready for the comments 😈
I was told to stir up drama in the comment section so YOURE WRONG
Frontier !!
