I was mesmerized by Angelina's performance of Stay so much that I listened again again and again. Then I realized in this performance she effortlessly uses vibrato to maximum effect. There is vibrato done by technically magnificent singers and then there is vibrato done by Angelina. She is in a league of her own. Others have described this as her singing in 3D, and I think I understand why. check out 6:00 (.... kno kno.......) and don't tell if it is not the most beautifal note ever sung. There are manny such instances in this performance. There are many Angelina's performances on my favorite list, but 'Stay' is currently my number one. Anyone who ever loved or get hurt by love will love this song and definitely love Angelina's emotional rendition. This is for the ages!!!

My favorite vocal performance outside of Billie Holiday. Angelina uses a lot of vibrato like Billie, except Angelina uses more air. I think her lungs are in better condition. Listen to it again and then again. I'm still listening to this track. I can't stop!
That song is one of my favorites of her performances. Absolutely gorgous. It's a usual occurence nowadays in many countries to teach english in primary school and even in daycare. She attended such a school, there's a funny video where the schoolkids are singing. She refuses with a face saying "You must be kidding me".
Once again, thank you for an excellent reaction to Angelina. Yes, there are quite a few talented young singers out there. I regularly follow ten of them, through RUclips videos they have uploaded. However, of the many things which set Angelina apart, it is her versatility to flawlessly sing a song, any song of any genre, and in each and every one of them recognise the emotional content and have the ability to communicate it to her listener. The fact that she is fully aware of her uniqueness and yet still remain a shy and humble young girl "blows my mind".

HAP3SPEAKZ Hopefully when her new album is released it will point to the direction she is going. I believe that she will move forward as a philanthropic entity in the future. Angelina has so many gifts but the 3 that constantly “knock me over” is the emotion that comes thru in just her voice..no special effects, high drama needed....then the immense technical ability that she has at such a young age and lastly the ability to dig into the depth of each song and totally understand what kind of emotion that the song is creating. Same with ”The somewhat controversial” “I am still holding out for you” that she did when she was 10 yrs old. Then when he hears “A song for A” another MAJOR “gobsmack.” “The Show Must Go On” double “gobsmack” 1 for Angelina’s phenomenol..mindblowing rendition of it but, the other day one because it is about Freddy Mercury and Queen. I've heard this track a dozen times, so it's not too new to me. When you paused and figured out that she recorded this at age 12, as you restarted it I got a chill across my entire body. It is just a mystery! I mean if she had concentrated all her short life so far on perfecting this one song, with teachers and advisers and expert accompanists, she might have produced this track given she were born with a ton of natural talent. But this is just perhaps 1% of her superb production library!

Not only have I heard hundreds of Angelina performances, but I've heard individual ones up to a hundred times (this one maybe 60 times, thanks mainly to reaction videos). That whole voice/face/age-mismatch thing is *long* past for me. And yet, every once in a while, out of the blue, it will hit me how friggin' *young* she is, and it will blow my mind all over again. For example, the fact that she's 12 here doesn't seem at all remarkable to me. Unless I think about it in terms of _grades_ (in school). Thinking back to when I was in 6th grade (which is what she would be in at the time, in the U.S.), and imagining a girl in one of my classes doing this… _that_ blows my mind. BTW, I don't suppose anyone knows if she's skipped a grade, by any chance?
God has equiped Angelina Jordan with the maturity of vision, emotion and imagination, of mind, heart and spirit, of innocence and sensibility. He gave her a face, one of artistic grace, kindness, openess and ultimate generosity. And a voice, one of a time traveler, of a spell giver and of a soul healer. I find comfort, pleasure and reassurance in humanity during the musical hours i spend with her. God named her Angelina for it is as our guardian angel that she sings for us and in us.

I think Ivan lets her set the pace, some of the songs seem to pace up as they go and others just change tempo. English is her third language, her second is Farsi. She’s also supposed to know some Swedish and Japanese.
Of course she "knows" some Swedish. Norwegian and Swedish are so close to each other that Norwegians and Swedes understand each other's languages, even can speak with each other. Let alone her father is Swedish. As a Finn who has learned Swedish at school I understand some Norwegian.

putting on my flame retardant suit here to say I'm not much of a fan of hers, at least at this point in her journey. I've tried to figure out why, what it is about her voice that doesn't appeal to me and i honestly don't know. I can see and hear she has a boatload of talent and a great future ahead of her if she can avoid the pitfalls way too many talented people fall into. I'm excited for her that she has such an amazing fan base to support her, every artist needs that. I wish her nothing but the best of everything and can't wait to see how far she's progressed in a couple of years. I think Ivan lets her set the pace, some of the songs seem to pace up as they go and others just change tempo. English is her third language, her second is Farsi. She’s also supposed to know some Swedish and Japanese.
Of course she "knows" some Swedish. Norwegian and Swedish are so close to each other that Norwegians and Swedes understand each other's languages, even can speak with each other. Let alone her father is Swedish. As a Finn who has learned Swedish at school I understand some Norwegian.

putting on my flame retardant suit here to say I'm not much of a fan of hers, at least at this point in her journey. I've tried to figure out why, what it is about her voice that doesn't appeal to me and i honestly don't know. I can see and hear she has a boatload of talent and a great future ahead of her if she can avoid the pitfalls way too many talented people fall into. I'm excited for her that she has such an amazing fan base to support her, every artist needs that. I wish her nothing but the best of everything and can't wait to see how far she's progressed in a couple of years.
