The little car is a Mini Cooper, popular in the UK in the 1970s. Made famous by the Michael Caine film The Italian Job. The Bourne films marked a change in cinema, being one of the better films of the 2000's, mainly because most of the others were just so bad! The sequels are very much worth watching, but be ready for a LOT of shaky-cam.

The mini might be small, but it is very stable and quick - enough to be a popular and successful rally car for years!

Jason Bourne may have many identities but only Michael "Kane" can drive a Mini-Cooper like an Italian Job!
Good choice. You should really do the trilogy as a reaction since they tell the complete story. Don't bother with the 4 and the 5 film. They deviate from the narrative and are really not any good. Hope I can join you tonight.

I have exactly the same opinion of Matt Damon as Russell Crowe.
Plus, every time I see or hear his name, or see his face, I get, " Matt Damon", in a Team America voice playing in my head and I can't take him seriously

Well made, modern life vests have an automated beacon that turns on when it gets wet allowing you to be found if you fall overboard. The flashing white light is that beacon. Some send out a radio beacon as well for US Coast Guard & other International Rescuers to hone in on. (fishing boats generally don't scan for the radio beacon unless radioed from shore about a missing person in the area) Batteries are good for about a week. & I suppose if you're stranded in the middle of the ocean more than a week, the batteries on your life vest beacon are no longer at the top of your serious problems list.

Oh dear. I picked up a box set of these movies at a garage sale. $5! Watched the first one but this reminds me I really need to finish them.
Well, Surprise-Surprise🤩I knew that this one was coming, but I didn't know When! (LOL) Excellent Choice: Jason Bourne is still (IMO) the BEST Character that Matt Damon has ever played!👍This is based on a Book, however😉the Book and this Movie are almost 2 completely different Stories: in this case, Bourne's Creators / Handlers at the CIA have become 'Corrupted' into the Villains!👌
Continuing Our Conversation about Sequels, I Hope You'll consider Reacting to (at least) the next 2 Movies: 'The Bourne Supremacy' and 'The Bourne Ultimatum!'🙏I have Collected all 5, but these first-3 are considered a 'Complete' Trilogy...

One of the best car chase scenes I've ever seen! Probably mentioned below, but the car is a Mini Cooper. My dad had one for a while. They have quite a bit of get up and go. Moreso than you would think for their size. 😃
Old Mini Coopers and Volkswagens were indestructible. This is a Mini Cooper from the Mini corp. They were bought out by BMW and newer versions were featured in the movie THE ITALIAN JOB with Mark Wahlburg, Charlize Theron, Ed Norton, and Donald Sutherland. (just passed away this past week. )
That car is a mini cooper they are pretty bad ass.
She's all-in for the mission at the hotel because she has to be. Amazing what the instinct of self-preservation can do to one's focus.

Um, yeah I enjoy watching Jason Bourne (as he is called at this point 😉). That's why I was so excited to see you react to it. This is possibly my very favourite trilogy, and as it seems you really enjoyed watching this, I hope to be able to watch the other two with you too, they're sooo not worse than the first one. (The third one maybe the best of them all.) ❤

The success of the Jason Bourne films influenced the James Bond series as their films tended to go in a more realistic and serious direction after this.
And they use the Bourne fast editing (to ill effect) in Quantum of Solace 😅
@masudaharris6435 Which was a mistake IMHO. The Bond films were always kinda goofy, it's what made them what they were. Now they're just another boring high-budget low-intelligence action flick with no soul.

Oh gosh.. i haven't seen these movies since they came out.. also i thought Matt Damon was a "kinda" bad actor but he os not. It has ages pretty well. Actually aged better then most James Bond movies.
I remember another older movie with a similar theme starring Jet Li and Jason Statham... simple called War from 2007. Great action cop-thriller movie with a pretty nice twist.

Hey Shree just came up with a controversial movie opinion: This was probably the best one in the series. I found the sequels interesting but they replaced the heart of the first movie with shaky-cam.
Also random note, I also like amnesiac stories and I just read Evelyn Hardcastle 😊 I liked it but found the amnesiac main character too disconnected from the actual main story (not spoiling here!)
Haha I agree, Evelyn Hardcastle does have a disconnected MC. But I enjoyed the video game styled approach to amnesia, with different avatars 😉

Hey Shree. I'm obviously a huge car nut, and it is disturbing that you know nothing about what is, arguably, the most successful car in history. The Mini Cooper S boasts an amazing catalogue of successful motorsport participation. They finished 1st, 2nd and third in the famous Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965, 1966 (all three were disqualified on a silly technicality) and 1967, the 1000 Lakes Rally in 1965, 1966 and 1967, and dominated the first 9 positions in the 1966 Gallaher 500 at Bathurst which included v8s! It was like racing against go-karts, because they cornered so well due to their rubber cone suspension. Handling those stairs would be easy. 5,387,862 Mini's were produced.
