A nicely done video. What I really liked was that you didn’t have a lot of people talking in the background to ruin the experience of watching the train run
Great layout, my fantasy to own the Canadian again after I sold set #1 due to moving into a condo. I presented it to my loving dad who sowed it to me in 1954 at West Toronto staton. I will never forget the sound of the EMD’s starting up (Rapido you did a great job on the sound). The only car missing is the silver Pullman palour car, but the layout definitely compliments the train. Bravo job well done. Kman
There never was a 'silver Pullman palour car' (??) though there were a trio of heavyweight U-series sleepers in the early days spotted just behind the baggage-dorm.
Yes, you are correct, the u series’s sleepers is the correct name. I had two of the brass cars fully decked out with people sitting in them. I had to replace the dummy B unit (Rapido) with a powered B unit, ABA combo unit in order to get the full Canadian up the helix because the brass cars were heavy. (the slow Dominion did have Pullman maroon sleepers combined with Budd cars, maybe a little cheaper too but 7 days to get to Vancouver versus 4 days for the Canadian. The Dominion would leave Toronto at 11pm and arrive in Sudbury at 6am, the the first time I ever saw two steam engines pulling a train. Memories, just being with my dad made the trip even better.

That is some crazy amazing scenery and track.

This is awesome. The CP Canadian looks beautiful and on a nice layout. Well done 👍🏻
A killer train, a great looking layout!
Would like to see more than one train and a cab ride.
Perhaps in the future, but that was never the intention of this particular video
Looks amazing, great job guys!
Great video and nice job
Is this the HO version, or the just-released N scale train?
HO
I don't see the thumbnail...
Are you running a Second section of this train? If not, why are you displaying green class lights?
Correct, just not pictured in this video
Nice train.
Might be a few issues with those signals 😮
