I think that for a newcomer, it is a strong and cool opening. It’s pretty charming, but I still like season 3
Also, I believe Owen Dennis said the protagonists were born in 1966. Ryan’s van bump sticker says he graduated in 1985.

Owen confirmed Ryan was born in 66, which would make sense. In 84, he got on the train. In 84, Amelia took over, and 33 years later, in 2017, tulip got on the train

@@smashlimeblogspot1 I have no idea. I didn’t get into the show until after book 2 came out. If that’s the case though, I would assume that book four takes place in 85 then, meaning the boys were close to 19, and Amelia was conductor for almost 34 years
@@smashlimeblogspot1 you’re right. She got on November 2019 and hit off in either April or May of 2020. So book 4 takes place in 1986, since Min said Ryan was gone for almost a year and they graduated in 1985.
The way they blush and look at each other just get me. Min crying cause he thought Ryan had left him just hit me.
Yeah, some of Min's issues really, really, really hit close to home for me. I gotta believe this series is going to be back. This season was clearly a placeholder, and it's crystal clear that nobody from the authors to the audience is ready for it to end. If MST3K can come back to life again and again, this show still has plenty of potential mileage.

so many series that I’ve loved were brought back due to fan demand. Some in near impossible ways, like 10 years later. It’s happened before, so I have faith it’ll happen again! We just gotta keep up the demand and keep harassing HBO and CN. Mostly HBO though, I hear they’re the ones in charge of funding. But maybe if CN decided to transfer it to Adult Swim...

@@ma.2089 While we should definitely harrass the higher ups for cancelling this and many other great shows, it's mostly CN that should be getting criticism as they're the ones who killed the show in December 2020

I honestly as a medium kid and as a gay man I really related to this duo they really complemented each other and I honestly think it was great those two being total opposites and then learning from each other

@@akiradrawss6206 neglectful most likely as he has a large family in terms of being abusive I don’t think so. Main reasoning is that he has so many kids and when Ryan was born he laughed after remarking that he has multiple kids. He also looked excited to perform in front of his family as was pretty enthusiastic a long way through. If I were to guess his father was negligent but he wasn’t an ass which happens when you got a lot of kids.
I would argue that Ming-Gi could of had something closer to abuse as his parents most likely pressured him into the safer decisions to “improve his live”

I think as he was most likely left to his own devices he felt like he could take on the world as no ones told him how it works out there.

Come on now, every season up till now we were told there would be no more infinity train seasons...yet we're on season 4. I'm pretty sure that there will end up being 8 seasons like wanted.
This was actually my favorite season because of how refreshing it felt. Gave me the sense of expecting more seasons, which I know isn’t likely due to this being the last.

I loves Ryan personally. I think this lighthearted more book worked well, especially after the intensity of book 3
I felt the same way, it just doesn't feel like a good finale for the entire show- if we don't get another season after all this I'm going to be so upset 😞

Book four is definitely my favorite. I love the mix between comedy and serious discussion, along with the charming main characters. I loved Ryan as an mc, probably the most balanced and charming of the mcs while also having flaws (which, somehow, don't make his character unlikable at all).
this book definitely wasn’t my absolute favorite, although i LOVE ryan and min’s dynamic and now i have another ship to obsess over, but it was still really good !! i think i’d order them 3-2-4-1, most favorite to least favorite, but all the books are amazing
9:10 I’ve seen theories that the train was trying to test Ryan when his exit appeared the first time. Because Ryan thought about actually leaving, the train knew he wasn’t really ready to go yet and took it back.

This season is also my favorite just because i can relate more to the issues of Min-Gi and he became my new favorite passenger.

Book 3 is still my favorite season but Book 4 is a close second favorite and then Book 1 going third leaving Book 2 at the bottom. Nothing against Book 2 btw just a matter of preferences. Ryan is definitely one of my favorite characters (I could never stick with one favorite) and while I do like Min-Gi I wasn’t particularly fond of him in episode 5 so that puts a SMALL damper on him compared to Ryan. I love how Ryan tries to follow his dreams against all odds and even though he may not succeed right away he doesn’t give up that’s a mindset I wanna have in life (within reason). And I also felt really bad for him when Min-Gi just ditched him at the school talent show and then Ryan came back to a Min-Gi who’s almost completely changed. I wonder how hard life was for Ryan out on the road. Also I WANTED THESE 2 TO KISS SO BAD DANG IT!!!!

This is my exact ranking! I feel bad for book two lol, it’s just by default I swear.
A lot of people love the other books because we see more about how the train works, the writing was much darker and I love that, but this book is my favorite by far, yes is more character focus, less mysteries are involved, but it has a great balance between struggles and intimacy, I personally relate to Min a lot, too much, maybe that's why he isn't my favorite that would be Ryan, he is optimistic and passionate, flaws and all, he is lovable, as a unit they have absolute chemistry, sweet and infuriating as they are, two halves of a whole, I just fell in love with book 4 from the first episode to the last one.
I relate to Ryan so much... the show actually opened my eyes for me a bit because it talked about flaws I have-
I personally thought that book 4 was underwhelming. I was hoping for a unique take on male friendships like maybe min or Ryan had unrequited feelings or they ended up deciding the best thing is to break up amicably because their goal just don’t align. And it seemed more focused on Kez rather than Min and Ryan.

It would kinda be unrealistic for them to be immediately romantic after fixing there current relationship. Like its pretty obvious they have some romantic feelings for each other ( “Cough” Train to nowhere “Cough” “cough” ). this is infinity train known for its subtleties but like it would kinda be too much for either off them to go romantic when it’s seen how Rocky they were at each other during the train. Over time definitely but it’s gonna be off screen or mentioned possibly in the next seasons ( if the show can get renewed)

I personally thought that this season was wildly disappointing, although it’s still worth watching. It teased all that with Amelia taking control of the train like it would tie into the plot (I personally thought that Ryan and Min-Gi’s duality would inspire One to become One-One), but I guess all that was just teasing another season set in the past that we may never see. Speaking of which, what’s with it being in the past? Other than so that it can tease Book Five, there’s no reason for that, and it just overcomplicates things! I like Ryan and Min, but instead of giving them most of the attention, it focused on Kez and all those weird side characters, none of which I liked, and that whole thing about Morgan the talking castle missing her passenger friend Jeremy. That was practically just randomness and doesn’t really mirror the arc of our protagonists very much (I mean, maybe it did a little bit, but it wasn’t enough), and that was the main conflict! Well, that and Kez being chased by all those characters. The cars felt like they got less and less creative as they went on, and the last three episodes felt muddled and almost boring. I don’t know, it wasn’t terrible, but it pales in comparison to the first three Books. I wouldn’t be so bothered by that if it wasn’t the last one.

Man I love seeing how much love this book has. I loved this book but personally it probably ranks as my least favorite of Infinity Train. It a toss between this and book 1 for me.

I love though how much people say it’s their favorite. It just shows the greatness of the show to me. Each person in away has a different amount of weight to each person.
I have to just point out that I do not have a favorite season of infinity train. I love and adore every single season. at first I was actually a little reticent about this season because it was more relaxed than the rest of the seasons. but, just like always, I ended up at the edge of my seat wondering how in the world they did it. how in the world did they get me so deep into this universe again?

Back before it was revealed this season took place in the 80s, I thought Ryan and Min-Gi were going to run into Amelia and Hazel at some point and there would be some kind of bonding moment between Ryan and Hazel where he would help her regain some of her old playfulness and optimism that she had before she lost Tuba.

Me and my sister jumped out of our chairs everytime they mentioned the name, "Morgan"
infinity train book 4 was like, really important to me, because i feel like both them and, seeing the past and present of them i got myself thinking about ME. Right now im studying a lot to pass in a college and do medicine, i was so tired and my friend give me link with all the episodes. Medicine is NOT MY DREAM, my dream is to travel and meet people and countrys and do new things THAT'S MY DREAM, but things don't work like that and i see myself as min-gi and ryan, i want to follow my dream but to get to do it i need money =) this is life, i like biology though hahah i hope to keep loyal to myself.

Personally i did not understand the last episode. Like what caused their numbers to both go down as in one after the other. Also this season made it felt like the denezins were going to kill another denezin. I don't like the fact that they just forgive kez like that. She did them all dirty. Just to replace some boy? Like why? If anything Kez just got a slap on the wrist just for saying "i'm sorry".

For me season 4 was just... kind of ok? I can't say anything bad about it, it was competent, I liked the characters well enough, but I found it less satisfying than any of the previous seasons, and especially comparing it against season 3 which was an absolute emotional rollercoaster.
One thing this season lacked that the other three did well was a compelling villain. Season 1 had Amelia, season 2 and the Flecs, and Season 3 had Simon. Season 4 has... some upset denizens who seem way to caught up on catching and beating up/killing Kez? Especially when a simple apology was enough to at least convince most of them to stop. IDK, it just didn't work as well for me.
I agree with most of the stuff, but emilia being younger due to the age being another one doesn't make sense, remember she resented one one, why would she work with him in that case? So my theory is that she managed to get her exit, meaning she got back to when she was younger, but fucked up again and entered it once again

Exactly, time passes normally IN the train, what happens if you leave the train? I don't think you go back so old that no one recognizes you, otherwise government would have started investigations on people disappearing and reappearing a LOT older than when they leaved, ON THE SAME DAY

Like when Nate ran to Jesse after he left it was because he had been gone for a month- and according to Owen the government does know about the train and try’s to actively get on to investigate it- so like grace has been missing sense she got on the train and it’s one of the aspects about the train that is messed up
Well now that it’s over I’m disappointed but I am at much rather have good Fourseasons and end like regular show adventure Time OK KO let’s be heroes Steven universe and then they keep on going and end up like another SpongeBob SquarePants
That's not exacly the case. IT was written to have 8 seasons. The team behind the IT already have a plan for next four seasons. It's like cutting SU after season two. Season finale was good but I want to get a full story.
