@@hauntswargaming Been a long time fan of your channel and Black Magic Craft. Actually both your channels helped me to reinvent myself as an accident took me out of commission professionally. I was never into miniature, painted only to in RPG days in the 90s. Lol. I just recently learned CAD design and 3D printing making terrain. Once my channel grows and get an income again, I will definitely pay it back and join Patreon to those channels what helped. Sadly for now I still can’t. A thousand thank you’s to you an many others for your channels.
@@Slurgical_3D_Terrain_Channel Thanks, that means a lot! Sorry about your accident. Life can definitely be rough. The hobby has helped me get through some stuff as well. I'm glad to hear this channel is making a positive impact on people's lives! Best of luck to you in your endeavors!
I have stopped using white primer all together due to it spattering so much. I'll just prime black and then go over it. Takes more time but gets a much better result. Great video! Glad I found this through black magic craft!
Not sure if anyone mentioned yet, but I cut a little squad of pantyhose and double layer it for a filter on all my airbrush paints. I just take the cap off, put pantyhose over and screw the lid back on. I haven't had clogs since! Hope it helps.
I find I struggle with the white primer. I made my own flow using glycerine, it helped a bit but I still get some clogs, with my iwata neo. I think once I find the right balance I will make a video on that.
If you've already got a respirator and a whole set up, you should really consider trying lacquer paints. Mr. Color are the ones I use (I do Gunpla), but with lacquer paints things like tip dry, spattering, paint seeping, etc, pretty much go away. It's also a much more durable paint. I personally haven't been able to get myself to go back to acrylics since I started using lacquer. Though I may try to brush with acrylics in the future. If you want, you can even do your primer and base coats in lacquer, and then do brush details, etc, with acrylic.
I don't play Tapeltop games myself, I build, construct, and design Tapeltop terrain. Currently under construction, Alien (film) a space station. The title "Leviatan LV 46".🙏😎
I made a comment above, but it might help both of you. I use pantyhose as a filter for my vallejo primer and it seems to stop chunks from getting in and clogging. Hope this helps. @@hauntswargaming
might want to mention the threads are british standard pipe thread not npt and 10 to 15 bucks for adapter. special order item. not mentioned on website either.
I haven't used a lot of airbrushes, but I think BSP is the standard for most of them. Also the standard for most airbrush air compressors. For $15 you should be able to get a set of adapters with anything you might need though.

Thank you! :) I'm planning on posting a bat rep late October! Scorn vs Hollow
Looks amazing! I can’t wait for the day I get Idols of Torment.
Yea, I'm looking forward to getting the book and cards in the mail :)

@@hauntswargaming Thanks, I’m sure I’m not the only one. You guys do amazing work directly and indirectly. The community is so amazing and supportive.

I think that's the conclusion I've come to as well. I'll keep trying until I run out of white/grey primer though. Thanks for the comment!

Vallejo paints are great, the surface primers... not so much. I switch the ProAcryl a while back and haven't looked back.

Maybe someday I'll try them. I just bought a bunch of acrylic inks :p

Wow very very Cool🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😎
That grey Vallejo primer hasn't worked in my airbrush either, ive started using Golden High Flow white instead for zenithal with my airbrush
Ha! it's not just me! I'll have to pick a bottle of that up sometime. I did buy some liquitex white ink to try out but I haven't tested it yet.
I mix flow improver right into my bottles of Vallejo primer, you can put in quite a bit (10% to 20%). Then it’s ready to go.
@@BlackMagicCraftOfficialthat's a good idea! I guess if I'm committing to the way of the airbrush premixing primer makes sense.
