All-star battles....now THAT's a feature I want in the next smash game. We kinda got that in sm4sh during the smash tour game, but it'd be nice to have this in regular smash

After making ASV and the new stamina I actually intended for 0 to death mode to be a competitive friendly special mode
When I say "casual" here, I mean "anything that's not the main way we play tournaments with". Thanks for making those, though. They're a fun distraction when standard play gets stale.

I have to disagree in a point:
All-Star isn't casual. It just doesn't follow tournament rules. In fact, even Stamina might have actual competitive potential too.
Good video though, it would be awesome if you talked about the other easter eggs PM has.
"Not played in tournament" is pretty much the definition of "casual". Just because it isn't crazy doesn't mean it's not casual. Even regular friendlies that DO follow tournament rules are called 'casual' matches in other games.
Thanks for the feedback. I would make a video about the Easter Eggs in PM, but there are already a bunch of them on RUclips. I only made this video because I haven't seen anything like it anywhere, and I get/read a lot of questions about "how do I play as Giga Bowser?". It's an important resource for new PM players to have.
If it's skill-based, fair and focused on the fight, I don't see why not call it competitive, even if no TO ever tried it.
It's just a difference in how we interpret the word "competitive". You take it a bit more literally than I do.
However where I derive the meaning of the term from is from the competitive smash bros community as a whole. Smash Bros offers a million different ways to play the game, so it's just easier to say that anything that isn't the standard versus mode on tournament legal stages is called casual. Doesn't mean that you can't play seriously in other modes or with items on or whatever.
its funny because I always do those 41 character iron man with my cousin in all-star mode, its always a blast XD
I tried to do a 42 character iron man in Project + in the Dolphin emulator, but it wasn’t able to load all the characters I chose and instead it froze the game.

Project M is what Smash 4 wish it was. All we got were about 4 stages, and 4 (new) DLC characters.

If you set it to time mode, you can play without a CPU opponent.

That's coming back for awhile. Probably after I make my next Mega Update video, that series will come back until I hit 200, or 250. Maaybe 300 if I have a lot stored up by then.
KeyBoard controls please.plus does this work with legacy xp?
To play as Giga Bowser on Keyboard, just hold whatever you mapped the L button to.
Also, legacy xp is still Project M, so yeah it would work.

You're thinking of a separate mod called "Project Ganondorf" made by TheBronzeGreekGod. ruclips.net/video/szggXY8k99I/видео.html
It does not come with standard PM, but it works with PM flawlessly.
Sheecacaa3 Is there a way to combine Project Ganondorf, Ridley, and some other mods with project m simultaneously?
Yeah they should all work together. I think they were built with PM in mind, so there shouldn't be any problems.
Sheecacaa3 Is Project M EX really good? I heard it encompasses many of these mods. I think that is the one I am thinking of. As Young Link becomes Oni Link, Ganondorf to Ganon, Bowser to Giga Bowser, etc.
I actually don't really know much about Brawl modding outside of PM. Sorry, but I can't help there.

If the shield button doesn't work for you, then there is probably no button that works. I would just keep trying holding a different button and checking if it works or not.

Yeah, it should. PM only messes with the SD card data, not the Wii. Brawl save data is stored on the Wii

We are Bowser is a community combo video made up of players from the PM Bowser discord. Even if I wanted to make a sequel like that, I doubt I could get a dozen players to let their scenes tolerate matches with Giga Bowser for clips. After all, most of the footage showed in We Are Bowser is from tournament sets, since that's the only way for most players to get footage of themselves. Nobody is going to let their opponent play as Giga Bowser in tournament sets lol
So maybe I just make a sequel to "God of Pain"? I only need to use my own footage, and I *can* get people to tolerate playing against Giga Bowser, so why not do that? Well, I feel like I've tapped out what Giga Bowser can do while still being entertaining. I showed off all of his quirks and gimmicks. What is there left to show? What would be the point of a sequel if there is nothing new to show?
And lastly, I don't want to make any specific montage content anymore. I've made that type of content for years, and I think it's time I switched to something new and finished off my career. The only videos you are going to be seeing from me until I retire are a highlights series, and my final video, The Meaning of Shee.
I don't mind Legacy XP but it's hard to find people who want to play it who are close to me. I prefer PM because of that.

How does he Get a 1-Player Smash?
In Project M, if you set the time to infinite, you can have a one player game. No stocks or coin. Just time mode set to have no time limit.

If you mean playing as Giga Bowser, then no. In fact, nothing I showed in the video is a glitch. It was all coded in by the Project M Dev Team. (PMDT)

Music is too loud, a bit annoying hard to hear your voice clearly.
Sorry, I can't change it now. I lowered the music and boosted my voice a TON in editing, and I thought I hit a decent balance. It's hard to account for that kind of thing in editing because I know exactly what I'm going to say, so I can hear myself pretty clearly amidst the music.
To be fair though, you're the first person to complain about it, so it must not be THAT annoying, right?
its not like terribly awful, i'm just letting you know for future videos, you might want to turn down the music a bit more.
I'll ditto what this guy said, I have the exact same issue so I could see where your comming from. I just had to pay attention more to figure out what your saying.
Best advice I could give is aim for clarity. You already got a good vocal tone and decent pacing, now just trim the fat and you should have a good video :)
Yeah thanks for the feedback guys. It may not have sounded like it but I took it to heart like I do with all criticism I get. I can definitely see what you guys are saying now that the video's been out for awhile. I won't have too many more videos with my voice, but I'll try to do better when I do make them.
