If you haven't seen any of Miley's recent stuff (2017-present) I can see why this would be a big shock for you 😂Miley actually has a song featuring Joan Jett, and the entire era of her album 'Plastic Hearts' was kind of in that vibe. However, even years ago, Miley was putting out covers that really showed off this side of her voice and artistry, but she certainly has brought that image to the forefront in the last 6 or so years.

OHHHH, I forgot-another fave was watching her sing “Malibu“ in her own comfort zone ( I think it’s called…) like backyard sessions or something like that. She’s chillin in a long t-shirt and cowboy boots if memory serves me correctly… I LOVE this version-love the additions she changed it up with. I appreciated her vulnerability and for sure the empath in me was bawling! I got lost in the song-the story-like I was watching a movie-powerful lyrics!
