I prospected for a 1%er MC, and it truly was and still is a Brotherhood (at least the one I prospected for), and had a true family mentality. However, I had no idea the level of commitment, that was required, and how little time I would have to myself. I work a very professional job in Healthcare, and I must be at work no later than 0530. None of this shit matters, because EVERYTHING is about the Club first!!!!! It is Club before EVERYTHING, and it was extremely difficult for me to live in a very professional world with my career and a not very professional world!! I loved having the opportunity to prospect, but I did not love what comes along with being a prospect in a 1%er MC! When it was time to put work in, it was time and some of those times became very sketchy! I had to make a very difficult decision to bow out, and I do not like quitting anything! I felt like, I failed myself let along my Sponsor, my Chapter, my fellow prospects, and the Club. I still wrestle with my decision today, but my career will always be what matters most! Thank you for this video, it truly hit home for me! Love and Respect!
Man! Thank you for your openness to share. I can definitely see where you would be conflicted in your Decision. On one hand that MC family can feel like no other (closeness) on the other, we have to live and provide in our personal lives. I have a Brother that had to bow out of a 1. He was the Heart of it but his other obligations had to be focused on.👊🏾 Thanks for watching @slabs6661
@@Viewson2s I truly appreciate you taking the time to reply to me, share an experience you and your Brother that was the heart of his MC. I watched this video three times, because I was extremely hesitant on saying anything, because I figured I would get some hate for either prospecting, or quitting, and then I read your comment, and I am stoked that I took the time to share a little of my experience prospecting in a 1%er MC. THANK YOU! Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down my dude! I hope to see you keep making videos on this subject, because my hope is for all MC's to come together instead of fighting amongst each other. There should be unity among all MC"s, because it is being a true 1%er why we choose to want to be apart of something that is truly outside the norm, an Outlaw, Brothers that have a common bond, that live by their own rules, but still support the community. I will NEVER understand the fighting among each other, because it just does not register with my mindset. Anyway, thank you for what you do my dude!!!!!
There is a significant difference between a 'club' and a 'gang'. Your terminology would be more correct if the acronym 'MC' were used for legitimate and clean-cut motorcycle clubs where upright, honest and people of integrity enjoy riding together as a wholesome entity. Then, there are the 'MGs'... motorcycle gangs. I wouldn't join a motorcycle gang if they paid me. However, there are many upstanding 'MCs' and I would join a motorcycle club once I know that the member are not people with gangster' mentalities.
I grew up in the club life one of the big 3 my unckle, god father. Father all heavy in the real diamond life. I knew very early on i loved the life style but hated the political end of it. Since i was always around as a young kid i wouldnt of even had yo prospect i just had to say im in and i would have been in because i grew up bloody with these guys but never once wanted that 3 peace. Its not a easy life being a full patch member in a true club it takes a different type of person to live the real mc life
I just went to a MC cookout for the “meet and greet” to feel the vibes (potential prospecting), and when one of the guys mentioned that at the final step of being a “prospect” was to get “jumped in,” bro I started laughing and said I wish a mofo would be jumping me at 43 😂 I drank a few drinks and took my tail to the crib lol. What I look like joining a gang at this stage in life lol. Nah bro.
Are you able to humble yourself to wait on another person while you are figuring out if you want this life! And wearing a symbol on your back comes with good and bad!
A bike club lik a real MC club its no hobby its a lifestyle. Bottom line it’s mostly for single Guys because if you have a family and especially if you have a young family. You will find yourself around the guys in the club more than your family primary household family. I was a member for 10 years i was single at the time once i got a family i saw myself not being with my family lik i supposed to, because a MC club it’s something goin on every single weekend remember that and luckily i started with the club day one. If i was prospect you had to do different things to make the roster and glad I ain’t hav to do those things forcefully. I loved it though jus take up alot of your family time thats all because you cant be loyal to two families
@Viewson2s I grew in NYC in the gang Era. I knew a person who was in one of the major one percent clubs I can definitely tell you that when it comes to one percent clubs, they own you. When you sign on to a major organization, they own you, and you're in for life. The reason for this is that you know too much.
1%ers govern from a different perspective than the average 99. That’s another point that could be discussed. I think to truly understand the culture you have to be or have been a member of an actual club to fully understand. MC’s definitely get a stigma (sometimes negative) opposed on them from people that have not participated. Respectfully
@Viewson2s In effect, they own you. It all makes sense. You are in for life. The reason is you know too much. It's blood and out. Just know what you're signing up for when you join because you are committed with your life.
@Viewson2s I am just trying to tell people that are unaware it's not a game because you are committed to your life. There are clowns who buy fake colors off of eBay and pretend to be 1% thinking it's a game. People earn that stuff, and it's not a game. It's a life commitment that only a few can survive. There is a long prospecting test which most won't survive. I see 1% only as a lifestyle that one signs on to. It's like a job to me. If you're in or associating with any major organization, there are rules you have to follow. As long as you don't violate common rules like disturbing a riding formation as an example, there is no problem. This is my overview of the situation.
My concern is I’m a beginner learning to ride a bike I’m buying my Harley Road Glide for my 50 th birthday, am I going to come across some MC ‘s sizing me up or try to intimidate me because I’m riding a custom Harley?
First of all congratulations and welcome to the 50club. I think a lot of people have the wrong perception of what clubs do or think. TV and media has dampened what’s real. Clubs don’t do that. For the most part if you are on something they like, you’ll just get the nod. No ones sizing anyone up for what they are riding. Especially in the Harley culture. It’s a really step across the aisle type situation. I think that should be the least of your concerns. Safety should be top priority
I think there’s a huge demographic that you missed in the video. I’m one of these, but combat vets. Dudes that went to war, went through hell for their brothers, would die for them. When we get home there’s a huge piece of us missing, clubs fill the void. I’ve found combat vets usually make the best brothers. They’re loyal, ride or die, would die for you and take a charge for their brothers. Most dudes love the club enough to die for it. Good dudes. I know the scene saved my life bro
Thank you for that perspective. I can only speak on what I know of. The reason I welcome comments. To help enlighten all that care to watch read and share. Thank you for your service
@@Viewson2s Dope getting a reply from a creator thanks man. I don't think a lot of people realize how hard combat vets go haha. Thanks for the feedback, I've become a fan!

Are there any clubs that don’t fly colors/wear patches? It was always odd to me that they would want to advertise themselves if they are doing anything that isn’t 100 legit. I figure they would want to be incognito. Just some dudes on bikes.
I don’t know anything about the angry young clubs, but when are 60 plus, in management, a professional, you don’t want to put up with the Probie BS. Just join a ride club if you want to learn to ride or about your new bike.
Joining a MC is no different from any other organization, some people just don't like structure & rules, people that join and doesn't stay more than likely doesn't fit in no organization including the church
You know why it’s gotten this way.. because that Have *OLD GUARD MENTALITY* the PURPOSE of the MC has been lost and that OLD MENTALITY IS STILL in effect today. Because nowadays ? Man is so much Crisis going on in the world that starting an MC would be a perfect opportunity. I know it sounds crazy but. Real talk, do any MC’s have MANDATORY READING that’s not MC related? Because KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Also having members take MANDATORY SELF DEFENSE CLASSES would be A MUST. And it would be Non Fiream and Firearms training. If these MCS would just look around and *SERVE THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITY* SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY? They wouldn’t have time to be beefing.. but that just shows to show you what these clubs are about.. how is there GANG VIOLENCE in damn near EVERY MAJOR CITY.. and there are MC’: in EVERY MAJOR CITY.. they should be *PROTECTING* their communities.. if NO MC IS DOING THAT? You should not have the Privilege to have a State or City Rocker PERIOD!
Wow you’ve opened up a whole new piece of the conversation. I will say that MC’s normally have ByLaws that help govern but Also I think it’s a stretch to put helping control violence in the area on Motorcycle clubs. One last thought. I’m not sure what area your in but the Set here in Atlanta is not about fighting and self defense. The clubs here are about having a good time, riding and stunting. All this firearm and self defense not an issue. Nobody’s training for combat. We riding motorcycles . Again the stigma that has shadowed MC’s of being all that stuff is a misconception
@@Viewson2s Honor and Respect King 💪🏾 I’m From South Jersey, Mainly 16’s and WOS.. but they themselves have been involved in various violent activities over the last few years.. and I’m not necessarily saying they have to POLICE THE CITY .. but if they talk to enough people in their hometown Communities violence might actually not be an issue.. and it’s nothing wrong with how each MC conducts themselves.. But You have to be the change you see in the world.. and as far as the self defense training? That goes *BEYOND* the MC.. people have families and lives and they needed to be able to protect themselves at all cost.. the only that is Guaranteed in life is *Change* look what just happened in Baltimore..… I’m just saying.. if your not *DOING SOMETHING TO SEPARATE YOURSELF* from other clubs .. then your just like every other club and in *MY HUMBLE OPINION* there is absolutely NO VALUE IN THAT! It’s just like *TIDE AND ARM AND HAMMER* laundry detergent.. now generally speaking? They both have the same ingredients… but what separates the outcome of the product once it’s used? It’s not the ingredients.. it’s *HOW THEY ARE MIxed* I also started with the *Atlantic County Ruff Ryders* in 2009 worked up to Road Captain.. been inactive since like 2011
Don't think that's the case, he's his own man ,own mind. made a conscious decision and stuck with it, same as if you quit your job and went to business for yourself
This MC shit was supposed to be about riding your motorcycle and fellowship. But now the set is full of assholes who think a certain patch gives them power. You can just be minding your business and all it takes is one of those assholes to start BS with your club.

The way a person interact with one person doesn’t mean he or she gonna interact the same with you. You gotta understand you dealing with multiple personalities. People love to talk down on MC’s for whatever reason(s) and aim to discourage others from joining.
I agree 💯%…..MC’s get a bad rap but once you get to know people the outcome varies. In a nutshell Clubs are very cool if you can find one that fits you
Extremely insightful...best advise ive gotten yet
Glad it helped, have you picked a Club yet or thinking about it? Just wondering

I have no desire to join a club. I have no rules, I ride when and where I want, I eat and stop where I want, I don't have to put up with other people's BS drama, and I don't have to worry about if somebody next to me knows how to ride. I like being a lone wolf and have been for 26 years of riding.

@@Viewson2s It got to be more about an image more than a brotherhood. Especially with the younger guys. Got to be too many clowns in the circus.
The loud music overshadowed your message bro. I’ll try to find another video to watch.

True , there definitely is a difference . There are 2 styles and you have have the awareness to know which is which. Thanks for watching

Its not a easy life being a full patch member in a true club it takes a different type of person to live the real mc life
Thanks for sharing. There’s a lot of different intricacies to the MC life. 1’s and 99’s
Nah bro.
🤣🤣🤣 wise man and right!!!! Ain’t nobody doing that
I feel like most people should just join Riding Clubs.
Are you able to humble yourself to wait on another person while you are figuring out if you want this life! And wearing a symbol on your back comes with good and bad!
All of that. It comes with the good and bad
Gd channel gd info thx my Brutha! New sub!
Thank you for that. #ridewitme
Too many meetings , and if you work . Geezz😂

Excellent video my brother

I think the information is good, but just a light overview.
yes this subject can really go deep. Thanks for watching
I do have a question. What other points do you think can be added? Respectfully 🤔
They own you once you get in that life.
It really varies from club to club. Definitely wanna do your research
Ya gotta know what you’re getting into ..
Be honest with yourself
Absolutely , take the time to find out. Thanks for watching

#viewson2s Where did you get the bracelet from?
Are there any clubs that don’t fly colors/wear patches? It was always odd to me that they would want to advertise themselves if they are doing anything that isn’t 100 legit. I figure they would want to be incognito. Just some dudes on bikes.
Not sure of that question
@@Viewson2sThanks for the reply.

I don’t know anything about the angry young clubs, but when are 60 plus, in management, a professional, you don’t want to put up with the Probie BS. Just join a ride club if you want to learn to ride or about your new bike.

That ls a perspective. Thanks for watching
Heyyyyyyyyyy... I know that bike @4:00 (laughs)
Yeah the guy that owns that one has money to Blow 😅
Joining a MC is no different from any other organization, some people just don't like structure & rules, people that join and doesn't stay more than likely doesn't fit in no organization including the church
I think their are so many clubs and organizations because they’re so many different type personalities
@@Viewson2s Honor and Respect King 💪🏾
I’m From South Jersey, Mainly 16’s and WOS.. but they themselves have been involved in various violent activities over the last few years.. and I’m not necessarily saying they have to POLICE THE CITY ..
but if they talk to enough people in their hometown Communities violence might actually not be an issue.. and it’s nothing wrong with how each MC conducts themselves..
But You have to be the change you see in the world.. and as far as the self defense training?
That goes *BEYOND* the MC.. people have families and lives and they needed to be able to protect themselves at all cost.. the only that is Guaranteed in life is *Change* look what just happened in Baltimore..…
I’m just saying.. if your not *DOING SOMETHING TO SEPARATE YOURSELF* from other clubs .. then your just like every other club and in *MY HUMBLE OPINION* there is absolutely NO VALUE IN THAT!
It’s just like *TIDE AND ARM AND HAMMER* laundry detergent.. now generally speaking? They both have the same ingredients… but what separates the outcome of the product once it’s used?
It’s not the ingredients.. it’s *HOW THEY ARE MIxed*
I also started with the *Atlantic County Ruff Ryders* in 2009 worked up to Road Captain.. been inactive since like 2011
