Marshall JTM45 Handwired 2245THW - Amp Demo

- Today we demo the great JTM45 in the handwired version (2245THW).
This amp is the reissue of the 1st Marshall plexi, the JTM45!
The Head is connected right into a Two Notes Torpedo live (www.two-notes.c...) loaded with a Marshall 70s 4x12 cabinet Greenback G12M prerola (75Hz) Ownhammer impulse from this pack: www.ownhammer.c... .
We only used one pedal during the demo when you can see it on screen. We used a J Rockett Archer as a "almost clean" boost (rockettpedals.c.... This pedale is a Klon Centaur clone.
We used as least post fx after the sound recording as we could: no EQ, no compression.
The room reverb is from the Torpedo live.
The sound you hear on this video is the exact one we were hearing on our monitors while tracking it.

The SG custom is a Burny. Burny is a Japanese brand which made nice clone in the 70s/80s. This one is from 1979.

I bought mine for 650€ 2 years ago only because I liked the look a lot...
But the tone is insane. I use to upgrade pickups on all my guitars, but on this one I won't touch anything!
This is my number 1 guitar for 2 years now, and I don't think it will change soon!
KT66 valves are THE best tubes for this amp. The non-handwired uses 5881's.

Joke aside, we use the guitar we own for this video. But anyway I wouldn't trade this LP copy for a Gibson one, and I own Gibson guitars...
Differences between this guitar and a good Gibson les Paul are not more than what you would get between 2 Les Paul guitars from Gibson.
You should check out Japanese brand like momose, Bacchus, they do build some awesome Les Paul guitar, very true to the original ones and often very light.

They sound sterile compared to the originals . They seem to lack the bottom end and harmonic fur. I saying this because I’ve played both plenty. They still sound cool but useless without a master vol to play at home
