Awesome. It makes me smile that you still get goose bumps from plugging in to a new to you amp. Music is such a powerful thing. It saves lives I believe. Keep rocking bro 😎
Dude! That opening tune was fire! Probably my favorite playing you've done here yet! I'm in a strat-into-plexi phase right now myself, so maybe I'm biased. I don't know... but I thought it was really great.
All i can say is Marshall and old amps they just kick butt! JTM 45 is a power house. Wow the playing was so sweet it made me cry! JTM 45 power tubes with 5881 and 1987x EL34 tubes the sound. That was what got Marshall as it is today.
Yay! I like mine with bass off and mids all the way, I also Fender-ized it even further by replacing the first 12AX7 with AY7 - all it really does is give more control over volume before break up, with AX7 it got crunchy around 4, with AY around 6-7, tone is the same. And yeah, set it to break up then use drives and fuzzes to get different flavours of higher gain, so much great stuff!
For some reason, after learning great deal from all your videos, I don't see you very inspired by the JTM, I can see it in your eyes. What I do know, is that when you fire up the Marshall 1987X 50-watt Plexi your eyes light up, you forget your videotaping, you become more inspired, and you inspire me, and others. Thumbs up bro
amazing!! could you do more videos on amp simulators?
Thanks! I’m more of a real gear kinda guy and pretty much the only amp sims I really like are the Softube Marshalls & Amp Room which I’ve done several videos of.
I’ve done some videos of some others as well but in general I don’t find them much interesting 😎.
EUGE this amp is so dope I just got a B-Stock from Marshall factory for $2139 US dollars. Looking forward to comparing it to my hand wired plexi with my Strat and Paulie. Heres your quote why I boutght the Plexi 100w Hand Wired. "If you have a proplem, just get a Plexi."
Cool! 😎👌
The JTM45 is so amazing. His intro here is just gorgeous tone.
So versatile! I love the high gain tone from the Blues Driver. What is that green pedal after it?
Yeah! Me too 👌😎.
It’s JHS Bonsai set to TS-808 mode and it’s before the BD so it’s boosting the BD 😊.
What speakers are you using.Amp and your playing sounds great
That intro… it’s blues heaven.
Thanks!
Do we get any Mesa Boogie amp testing from you? Do you like Rectifiers or Mark amps by Mesa? Have you test those? I would like to see when you compare some Mesa amps to your JCM 800 and others.
If I get my hands on those someday then for sure. But I’ve never been a Mesa guy that much. I’ve found them to be too sweet or something 😎.
This is a Marshall channel with an expert Marshall player. Hope it stays that way.
What do you think of the Marshall Vintage/Modern?
It’s been quite a long time since I’ve played with one but if I remember correct it was really good. I mean you can never go wrong with a Marshall 👌😎.
They are great amps. Very underrated.
If you could only pick 2 amps between 1959HW, 1987X, JTM45 and JCM800, which 2 would you pick and why? :D
I’ve already done that 😎: JCM800 & 1987x. Well I actually have three 800s 😁. I like them the most 👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V Thanks man!
So I already own it with JCM 800 2203x. The JTM is the perfect amplifier.
i like the jtm45 for the blues and clean tone .. for heavy stuff i see why people use the 87 i wonder with the right pedals how close a person can get to the 87 using the jtm great review and playing
JTM is a bit warmer and looser ’cos of the tube rectifier and stuff but pretty close at least in my experience 👌.
Thanks!
@@EugeValovirta230V thanks
Thank you so much for the amazing content. That edge between clean and break is so beautiful. Would you say sv20h can do similar tone?
Thanks! Quite close but the tube rectifier in JTM makes it a bit smoother IMO.
Subscribed because of the Blues Driver ;)
Good👌😎. And thanks! 🤟
@@EugeValovirta230V have you tried to compare this with the BluGuitar Amp1 Mercury edition vintage channel? I have that amp and it sounds almost the same....
I have only the Iridium but it’s really close too. I mean I haven’t considered buying any amps after I got the Amp 1 ’cos I can get all the tones I need from that 👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V me too - my wife is thrilled
😊👌
You seem to also be very good vintage style player! Perhaps Vox, Matchless, Fender, Hiwatt etc amps next?
Thanks! Hopefully some day 👌😎.
Hahaa you’re the best dude. Smitten by the Jtm45 ❤️🤘🏾
Great stuff!
Thanks!
Awesome bro!!!!
Thanks C!
You are wellcome E!!!!
Great Stuff! Is that a springy sound strat?
Thanks! To me it’s just a good strat 😎👌
10:48 when that pickup-selector/grip learnt to fly .. I nearly died of laughter, especially when you mention the excitement of using such amplifier. :'D
Anyway... good review. :3
😁🤟. Thanks!
Great demo and great playing 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I am trying to decide between this and the Studio Vintage 20W.
Which one would you recommend?
I know both are good pedal platforms which is important to me…
Thanks and happy I discovered your Channel!
Thanks! The studio is more like 1987x or SLP but just lower power. This is a bit smoother with a tube rectifier etc. Just as a clean pedal platform amp I’d choose this.
@@EugeValovirta230V Cheers!!
Moi! Mitkä nuo sun Genelecit on?
Great original track!
Thanks!
awesome song in the beginning
Thanks!
