arash_einherjar OH, RIGHT. Lol, I sometimes forget that some of the lyrics are my own in this one. My reply to Ashley Osborn’s comment (which is now pinned, for easy access) has the lyrics to my added verse. I could tell you what equipment I use, or what I used specifically in this song, but it wouldn’t be if any use to you. It’s like if someone asked you what instrument you used on a song. You could tell them the exact make and model of guitar, even down to the specific strings and pick used, but would having those things make them sound like you if they’d never picked up a guitar before? Because audio has so much tech and physics involved, it’s easy to assume it’s simply a matter of having the right equipment to get a certain sound. But in reality, recording and mixing is just as much of a skill and an art as playing and singing are. It’s important to approach it with this mindset if you want to get the results you’re aiming for. That being said, instead of recommending you buy specific equipment, I’ll instead recommend a fantastic resource that will truly make a difference for you: The Recording Revolution youtube channel. Tons of awesome free education on getting good results from minimal equipment. (Also, since I’ve gotten my spiel out of the way, and you may still be curious - I use Logic Pro X, interfaces from Focusrite and Presonus, and mics from Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and Rode. Lots of great options from those brands that won’t break the bank. Logic Pro X is an awesome option if you have a Mac, and for what you get it’s an unbelievable price; but, of course, having to have a Mac is a bit of a barrier to entry. By following along with the music and listening for when the chord changes happen, it should make sense. Happy playing! :D

IcarusXD GRRM stands for George R R Martin, the author of the book from which the words to this song are taken. If the game ends up selling millions of copies, perhaps there would be some legal issues there, but if it’s just a fun personal project then it shouldn’t be a problem. As far as using my music goes, you’re welcome to it (that is, again, as long as you’re not selling millions of copies 😉)

Awesome job!
Thanks my friend!
why ain't this on spotify?
workin on it! if all goes according to plan, the remastered edition of this ep will be there in december
it took longer than expected, but at last - this song, alongside the rest of The Songs of Ice and Fire EP, is now available on Spotify! Enjoy :D
Thanks, much appreciated!
Nice song bro
Glad you like it :) out of curiosity, how did you come across it? This song in particular has gotten a sudden uptick in comments the past few days, and I'm starting to wonder if there might have been some specific cause
@@Yunck sure bro, well i was searching like, a playlist of bar theme or tavern songs, and some guy did that video and your song was there and i liked, so i search your song and finally i found your channel.
Sorry 4 my english xd
Hernán Landeros cool, I imagine others must have come across the song through that playlist! thanks for the info :)
Awesome
I need the chords
Love it so much! Keep it up!
Amazing work brother!
I think this way better than Ed's
The addition of full instrumentation probably gives me an unfair advantage ;)
Even Jon Snow knows this is a great song
lol XD
Thanks, keep it up I shall!
Thanks, glad you think so!
A wynd (/waɪnd/) is typically a narrow lane between houses.
Pretty sure I'm late but who cares.
Is the second verse in the book? Great job, love this version of the song.
It’s winds, not wynds lol
Aw, shit, that's amazing!

This guy graduated from the bards college
Ed sheeran stole it lmao
Well. we both stole it from GRRM, really ;)
@@Yunck wat is grrm? , so may i steal it :D plez i want to make game's OST
@ShadowNny we’re just a den of thieves all the way down XD
❤❤❤❤❤👌🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
Es mucho mejor está versión
Muchas gracias amigo
The bards college approves
relieved to hear it; I know their review process is truly “no holds bard” ;)
Women have cold hands.
i thought it was the original haha
Guns and pistols in the 1890s Russian Empire... Fire and Sword... :D
not sure I follow your meaning, could you clarify? :)
@@Yunck Sounds like an 1800s version of gun fighters, and the 1st thing that came into my mind was Mount and Blade Fire and Sword.
I like it btw don't get me wrong... as the Dornishman's Wife sang by yourself brought me here :)
@ElGrinGo I’m out of the loop as far as those references, sadly, but I’m still glad you enjoyed it!
@@Yunck Oh, you will never know... the cowboy's pistols shooting you down...
Sounds like All along the watchtower idk 😂
All Along The Tower Of The Hand
;)
I think this one is better than ed sheeran's.
My opinion.
Whatever anyone’s opinion, I think we can all agree that mine has superior tambourine and guitar licks ;)
Remember, don't eat the bowl of brown...
Much better than cringy Ed Sheeran.
XD if there’s one thing I absolutely did not expect when I was making this song, it’s that I would be inviting comparisons with ed sheeran several years later. life is strange
Or better yet, don't get put in one
Symon you silvery tongued fiend
Love it. could be even better in Ed Sheeran's voice
Thanks for listening!
