+ARCH V5AT damn thats new, but go get them. At least the Kurdish forces are actually fighting and not doing ineffective airstrikes. Im waiting for the US to send in troops thats the only way to get it done
"And you're ass, you're gonna wanna clean that out" I literally almost shit my pants laughing. He said that so unintentionally funny I didn't even know how to deal with it.
Youre video helped me ease my stress man, lol i took anti depressants back in the day, when you said medical records are hidden, i screamed "fuck yes" hahaha thanks for the video semper fi
No they aren't. The Marines will look into your medical history no matter what. If you still take pills, you cannot enlist. If you do NOT take the pills anymore, within the past 1year before you enlist, you can. You should be good even if you show them you medical stuff.
When i went to meps there was a chunky kid joining the army and he kept making fun of the marine corps and the kids joining. Including myself. Then he said he was joining the green berets and he said berets like something a little girl puts in their hair we all just lauged and he walked away.
Hey everyone we are now on Facebook! We look forward to sharing more of our lives with all of you, along with reviews, firearms training, and much more! Follow us at Americanstrong5!
hey man im going to meps really soon, all i have is a back ground of having adhd medication. i dont need it my parents thought it would help me in school. but i did better with out the medication. i just dont want them intimidating me into saying something by accident. hopefully i get through it just fine. any tips
So I need advice on something, I was approached by my recruiter in high school and he asked if I want to join, told him I don't think I could because my leg length discrepancy, now at the time I didn't exactly know the measurements difference between my legs and recently found out that there are three centimeters different. Now I had done a doc appointment since I was told to do in order to go to MEPS was that he said I would be disqualified. Now should I go ahead and do MEPS or just take it as it is and accept that I have been disqualified since the doctor said I would?
I'm going to meps soon and have been super stressed about it, I hate doctors and always get nervous and my blood pressure goes through the roof. hoping I can control it and not have to go through the whole waiver bullshit. this video really helped. thank you!
69 69 69 69 69 :D my score on the asvab lmfao ..kinda piss though because i could of gotten 2 more points but i was literally one second to slow answering on the math part ..the very second i figured out the answer ....BAM !! -you have run out of time- happened fuckign twice ...first on the arithmetic reasoning and then again at the very last question ...same exact thing happened with the mathematical reasoning....fuck math...
I'd love to know what his feet, socks, and boots smell like after being in them for a 16 hour day. I remember when I was in basic in 97, my bunk mate below me was a 19 year old recruit, and he kept very good hygiene but after 16 hours in the brutal heat of South Carolina, his feet smelled but after about 10 days he developed athletes foot, and then they really reaked, fortunately he wasn't the only one who had that issue. This may sound weird but I don't care, for me there is nothing sexier than a man that has that sweaty smell.
Ok so, I had an fungal infection a whole back, and it has healed completely but had left black scars on my body ALMOST EVERYWHERE, Will I be disqualified or is this something I need to take up with my recruiter? (I'm an African American)
As long as you can get corrected to 20/20 it will be fine; however, I do recommend getting a new pair of glasses just before, you have to pass the depth perception test or else you would need to go through another process to get your eye checked out. Made that mistake... Now have to wait another week... great...
@@dogestranding5047Yes you can, just be honest about it, as long as your vision is corrected to 20/20 be it glasses or contacts you'll be fine. Remember the key thing is HONESTY!!
on their foods watch what you eat, nothing that will make you sick or push blood pressure up. nothing fried and have a decent amount of fluids to clean out your system but not too much to make you pack on too many pounds.
Dude your detail is still saving people today haha. Thanks for letting me know i have no need to ask if last time I was honest about smoking before matters this time talking again one year later
Just went to MEPS yesterday and we where joking on the old guy man handling yur nuts. When one guy was going in right before he went in I said in an evil voice "pray to your god" everyone was cracking up when I said that.
what branch u going into first of all because diff. branchs dont care as much, but at meps they pull ur crimnal recard talk to ur recruiter if he said it wont matter then it dosent but make sure he knows dont keep shit from them and they will help u out
you should tell ur recruiter i know the army is way more forgiveing then the Marines on all that kind of shit i know a kid up there from the National Gard got shit for tickets as long as they are all payed but i would deff, tell ur recruiter asap its better getting chewed out then DQed
kindof true you cant be discharged at meps they will basically send you to home to get a waver from your doc. saying whatever it was is ok for the military, this will just slow ur proces
I'm nervous as fuck I go to meps soon and I'm so scared I'm gunna fail the ASVAB I'm not very smart at all. I'm bad at math. But I know all about tools and stuff cause I did woods so hopefully I can excel in that part. I'm scared as fuck man.
you already went as i cant tell by the time but i would tell your recruiter but if you made it in with out anyproblems i would still tell your recruiter just incase
What do you wanna know about the asvab? also For the Marines you dont pick a job at meps you pick a job at your recruiting office then they send it up to meps.
Do they take xrays? Might have gotten a slipped disc 4 yrs ago it hurt pretty good. Didnt see a doc just rode out the pain.. I feel a little discomfort now and again but its nothing severe or painful. Im active with exercise and it does not interfere with my motion abilities what so ever.. is it a diqualifier? Dont want to mention it and im certain theres no way they will know just by looking unless they take xrays. Please get back to me..
+Christopher Hall I definitely agree with you, for all you know when you are under all that physical stress of rucking and stuff it could just completely blow out. Then you end up with a discharge.
Just curious what if I don't mention it, I haven't yet went to meps because I'm waiting for an endorsement for my tattoo waiver then. as soon as I get it' I'll be doing meps. , then the endorsement will be sent to the head quarters.. The reason I'm stating all of this is because I'm already waiting for approval for a tattoo waiver that goes above my collar bone but doesnt appear in any of the uniform nd may give me a problem I don't know if it would be bright to mention it.. Should I be worried?
I didn't hear anything about swearing in or getting MOSs' and I would like to know if you remember your score on the ASVAB I have a some more question about BC .. Such as the written test how hard is it ... and do they dill that shit in your head enough that anyone with half a brain will remember by the 11th week And the m4 .. Hello, can you inbox me? I just told my recruiter that I had Lyme disease when I was 9 now 25 was that a bad thing? Cuz I was told that they can and will look at your medical history, and that they do test for that, was that the wrong move? And does that now mean I will be DQ?
Kind of strange that people would choose to "lie" or withhold information of minor issues, and then get dqed for it. I only know so much because i did alot of research, im considering joining after i get my degree.
Hey dude. I know the military dosen't condone lying, but I haven't had Athsma since about age 8 and my recruiter told me to lie at MEPS about it. I've wanted to join the Marines since I was a child and I don't want to tell them I had Athsma and not be able to join. What do you think I should do?
I've been prescribed anti depressants in the past and i've been to counseling after my dad died. I have a letter from my doctor saying I don't need them anymore and i'm not depressed, i've wanted to be in the military my whole life I hope I can get through meps with this.
for the ASVAb section about the shapes its called Object Assembly its pretty easy for me I can get 100% well before the time is out. at least for me. Just pick a single shape thats the most obvious and see if it looks how it does with the shapes jumbled
did you have it removed? if so how long? if it was not removed then no. you will have to get a discharge paper from your doctor stating " cyst no need for removal' ...
So let's say you had asthma but really never had any problems for about 5 years, I didn't bring any paper work stating that I had asthma. Will they still check to see if I have any medical issues?
Just have to ask because I'm seeing all these different things. I'm trying to get into the marine corps and I'm supposed to be going to meps sometime in June and in the video you said they can't pull up your medical records but if you have a criminal background they will see that, but I see in the comments you're saying that they will pull your medical records. Just not really clear on what is right

@dino b, they started dqing people with ear wax recently lol, tinnitus is usually a indicator of hearing loss, they will check if your tinnitus can pass the hearing test, did you go to an audiologist to get your hearing checked?
lol this was hilarious. I go to meps first monday of october next month for the marines, i feel much more relaxed about it having watched this.. Thanks.

THE ASVAB does matter. you can not enter into the Service without it even if you already have a degree. 31 is the lowest scores you can attain and 99 is the highest score you can attain. Keep in mind that the recruiters can only put in so many applicants that score below a 50 on the ASVAB. TEST. HIT ME UP IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS I AM A RECRUITER AND I CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS
If the ASVAB didn't matter they would not spend the time scoring it. Yes it matters and you really need to work at doing your best at everything especially if you want to be a MARINE.... The best of the best.

If you look, the words on the Marine flag are mirrored. Meaning the video is mirrored for some reason. Union is on the left.
