Right after he said "Give it a good wiggle and that actually comes off pretty easy" I knew this was crap. Did my hot pipe earlier and made a new language with cuss words from these clips so I was prepared for this to be a real pain. I wasn't wrong. Missing skin off my knuckles and started raining. Got there in the end in the rainy and all. Was so glad no codes were thrown or anything blew off. 😅
This video helped me in a way you wouldnt have expected. Instead of the sensor coming out of the pipe i found out one of my mates had just unplugged it. Absolute dog act, atleast i watched this before taking it to the stealership.

This was the hardest s.o.b. to install and I dropped the mounting screw into the Bermuda Triangle and never to be found - just cable tied the sucker down for a bit until I get around the wreckers! Got the Intercooler kit in the garage and thinking probably easier to have done it all at once. Oh well!

Just to add to this you don't have to remove the clip on the air temp sensor plug. Just push it down and remove the plug, less chance of losing it. I had extreme difficultly removing the throttle body even after unseating the retaining clip. I had to use a pry bar from the top of the engine bay and pry back to the top of the throttle body pipe to break the seal.
Doing mine right now but I'm also doing silicone hose replacement (plazman) and using Platinum pipes, they seem to have double o rings for each connection.

had that sensor blow out while i was down at double island, still have it zip tied onto the pipe while im waiting for my new one. after a week of driving it with it zip tied up it’s thrown a red check engine light.

My question is that I have got a 2021 pro4x from brand new and now 12 months old with 55k on it, is there much difference between your rig and mine? I have had installed a 2" efs lift kit and it's a really good ride! Saving for more mod down the track.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects of the vehicle on OEM parts, warranty can't be void for any failure of a Nissan OEM part unless the aftermarket part caused the failure, search nissan warranty terms for the word void, you won't find it, Australian consumer law has it covered.

Tell me about it, my arm looked like I did 6 rounds with a feral cat from the clips on the airbox from my hot pipe install lol

Hey mate, with those 2 pin connectors, like the intake sensor one, you dont have to remove the metal clip. You can push it in towards the plug itself

Don't you need to clean the air temp sensor with brake cleaner?
You could clean the sensor with sensor cleaner if you wanted too 👍

Why doesn't CRG come with the snap ring?
The OEM one is perfectly fine to re use.
