Just wow! A very fine and sensitive work. Excellent sreenplay and video.
I just love these "from bush to bonsai" transformations... they really show you can create a nice tree from bushy plants. And also I'm from sweden which makes this even cooler. I searched "pine yamadori styling" cuz this is only my third year of doing bonsai and i wanted some inspiration for how you can style a yamadori pine. Me n my grandpa found an amazing spot in 2020 which is basically a dig site. and we dig on the hill which has been blown out by manual explosion by man so the trees on the hill will be removed in the end; it's basically an unused forest of yamadori... So much amazing material there too... Just beautiful pines and super twisty birch trees with a lot of character.
You are a great teacher. Most videos don’t explain the what and why behind decisions. THANK YOU!!

Un travail minutieux. Quel melange de terre est dans ce pot ?
Strasbourg, France
great work, recently I've done the same work on my nursery juniper using coconut fibre as rafia, in India it is a good substitute.
Thanks :-) Coconut fibre will be good too.
Đẹp quá đi. #bonsaibinhdinh
keren banget
I don't get the reason for the to wires along the trunk. What's the idea behind that?
What gauge wire did you use to begin? It Looked pretty thick. & where do you get your wire? Where did you get your raffia?
The wire is aluminum wire, and therefore a little thick. Raffia is bought at a normal garden nursery.
whats that stuff called hes using to wrap around the trunk
Sir Morten ,how long will it take to get the raffia be removed from the trunk of the bonsai tree?
Hi Alain. The wire, and therefore also the raffia, have to sit for about 1,5 - 2 years. The trunk and thicker branches grows very slow, and it takes time for it to settle.
@@ShohinbonsaiEurope thank you very much Sir Morten.Good luck.
David aqui en America USA 30% es el mas bajo yo estoy usando un 40% y las platas están felices
Is it scots pine or Scotch pine?
Scots 👍
Bravo
