Great vid! I have several rc car hybrid builds (1/7 and 1/5 scale) utilizing both rc motors and EDFs (one car has 120mm EDFs paired with a Hobbywing Max4 Combo). I really enjoy rc car builds that utilize EDFs and you have a solid build! Looking forward to seeing more!
Cool but I don't know why you'd be confused that a 3d print broke in a crash? I print parts for my cars too but I kind of expect there will be some breakage in a crash.
Fair point xD I was mostly confused because it had survived seemingly worse crashes up until that point. But I'll just make it a bit beefier to strengthen it!
@ValRC1 Possible earlier crashes may have caused some fractures in the layer lines and it just let go on the last one. Cool project and nice looking design work on the mount regardless! 👍
@@ValRC1 Thats the ticket, It will improve thrust and enable you to move the fan unit further forward improving the C of G, also I would take up the suggestion of another of your viewers and fit a guard for the fan. Great fun 😁
If the video is fake, then how can the car lift its rear wheels with the internal DC motor at 6:46? If you really think this is possible, you should relearn physics
That's awesome! Good thing about the EDF compared to a rocket motor is that it can be controlled a lot more than a rocket motor and doesn't need to be replaced after a single run
Great video 👍
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Incredible, awesome job
Thanks man!
That was so cool 😎 , can you make a 3D print EDF 50mm for 2200kv motor?
That’s so cool, you may want to add some metal mesh to the front of the fan to stop debris from getting in and damaging the blades
Oh good Idea, wouldn't that reduce the airflow though?
@@ValRC1 yes for sure
Love the car and maybe even more so the use of minecraft background music
Thanks, glad you like it! Haha yeah I love using the minecraft music in videos now :D

Thanks man! I'll have to check that out, sounds pretty epic!
Dayum sick build
Thanks!
Woah!
Looks crazy!
Thanks bro!
Love the video and creativity.
Thank you!
The McDonald’s drink is just laying there, the actual damage is from crossing from grass to road😂
😂😂 I only found that out later while editing
Like I just mentioned on our WhatsApp rc group before, this project rewards respect to you and it’s simply awesome👌
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Sehr schönes Video mit interessanten Ideen. TOP
Vielen Dank!
Fantastic work, dude! It works great!!! 😃
Next step: printing a full car? 😂
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks dude! I'm actually already working on a whole 3d printed RC car! Stay safe too :)
Great idea 🧐 better get a patent
Why not remove the motor and drive shaft to fit a bigger esc and battery. You know it craves 6s
Haha that would be awesome! The EDF is only really made for 4s power though so it'd be risky!
@@ValRC1 I will -- set the car ablaze!!!😂🔥

I think sends in his 3d printed parts to another place to be made of stronger materials?
now make a cushion for the motor, hovercraft =)
I've posted a video about a hovercraft before and I'm actually working on a new, upgraded one as we speak :)
i found a 12s edf kit with 7.4kg max thrust thats like over 16 pounds !!! but its like $300 .. my highest so far is only 10 pounds of thrust on 8s ...
Wow that sounds powerful!! Mine only runs on 3-4s lipo
A tail pipe should help
Do you mean something like a thrust tube / nozzle at the back?

8 views in 7 minutes bro fell off🤣 😘
Rip lmao
Fake video, the propeller dont work, you use engine inside

When i was 13 back in like 1994 i mounted an class d rocket motor to my kyosho pro-x, it was fun
