Communities from all over the world and all corners of the internet are banding together to try and create art representing their own little community.
This quickly developed a lot of politics with major communities creating alliances and declaring war. North America and Spain allied and declared war on France. Among Us are using guerrila tactics to make their mark on every single community. The My Little Pony community are being nuked everywhere they go, but keep rising from the ashes.

@@allisonmiller3669 No, tons of people were pissed at Ukraine. It's just that they had so many people that nobody could do anything about it. But the moment their numbers started dropping, everyone shit on it because r/place isn't where you should be making political statements, and because it was so ironic that ukraine supporters were protesting the invasion of Ukraine by invading other artpieces and trampling over them.

It’s such a cool idea and makes me feel like the internet can still come together for at least some good. Im excited to see a time lapse of today’s r/place as well.
I wouldn't say it achieves anything good or bad. It just is what it is which happens to be very interesting. It does make communities come together but it also definitely creates some hate. Extremely entertaining as a viewer watching it unfold. I can also see why they don't do this often. It encourages people to get into an endless fight for land and barley even sleep. Even as a viewer I spent an unhealthy amount of time looking at pixels.
This is why Mizkif is the drama king. Simply be something you do not like and you too will be touched by the void.

Imo r/place looked the best in the first day when no major streamers had touched it, it went from being full of communities and video games and flags to full of crappy twitch streamer logos and all of the actual nice stuff was destroyed

@@prosoccer728 sadly alot things might have happened, the stuff was 1990's stuff which might not been readily available to ship so might took while to organize. Plus if you watched life of streamer video, miz does have a schedule of people possibly coming over. Above all else was just bad luck that this reddit war start same day. sadge I hope they do something further down the line again and nothing to the scale of a reddit war interrupts.

r/place is the perfect simulation of thee universe. there was no big bang only multiple people agreeing on probabilities. I just discovered r/place and I'm addicted.
