As a member of the french community who also watches Miz Hasan Lud etc, this arc was honestly one of the best ever seen on twitch! Seeing all the biggest streamers worldwide in the same call was absolutely amazing

Now I understand better why France won. Honestly I know everybody thinks France used bots, surely there were some I mean every country must have (even though no streamers used ones), but having seen both sides of streamings now, France just had a hell of an organization. Kameto litteraly created a whole system using the whole french community and streamers, already close-knit and well-rounded by the Z-events the past few years. On the opposite, as I see on this here Spain and the US were completly muddled, their only directives to their community being "Attack here, add this here, attack there..."

yeah the French community on twitch and RUclips are really interconnected so basically they where always streamer on the French side and since the streamer power end when they go offline the French community keep there power

For the "bots name", it's just because in fact Reddit is pretty unpopular in France, so the big majority of people create a reddit account just because our streamer told us to do it for the war. In majority we didn't take the time to create a pseudo. Sorry for my english, I have no idea for the accuracy of this text, i'm french.

Although it was simply a pixel war on Reddit, these 5 days were some of the most entertaining content I’ve seen in a while. Where my entertainment comes from most is people & communities hanging out, seeing the French, Russian, Spanish communities hanging out with mizkif was a once in a blue moon opportunity and it worked out amazingly for content. It was also amazing to see mizkif reunite with the juicer to band together against the big communities to take them down 😎 xqcL

I was watching a bunch of french streamers and really they were just better organized, BY FAR.
if i'm not wrong, They had their viewer organized in 4 squad representing season, autumn, summer, winter, spring.
And each squad had a role and timing to defend or attack. orders given by the streamers.
It's that simple. No bot at all.
Yes. is to use every 5 minutes. not an attack every 15 minutes 😉
As a Spanish speaker, I can say most of the Spanish speaking streamers were doing the same, they divided the viewers according to seasons, it might not have been as organized between the US and Spanish speaking countries though, also, I have seen many clips of French streamers using bots, so I’m pretty sure they did use them

The weird names that the french accounts had were the basic names given by reddit to new account when you don't rename your new reddit account. There was this many new accounts because France engaged a total of 700k viewers on twitch simulteanously and only a small part of them already had a reddit account. Btw reddit in France is not as big as it is in America.
As a french, I confirm reddit was not that big in France before r\place2022. But every year, french streamers organize a 72h crossed community event on twitch for charity with 40/50 of the biggest french streamers/youtubers ("Zevent" if you want to check how big it is).
For r\place2022, everybody federated around Kameto pretty easily for the challenge. Our top streamers was here, our top youtuber was here, the creator of the Zevent was here, so much more were here. Kameto wasn't lying when he said we were federated, organized and dedicated.
We actually do it in France every year in a bigger scale (once again, Zevent). So no, reddit was not that big in France, but in april 2022, kameto and all the other said "create a reddit accounbt and join the troups", so we created our reddit account, didn,'t personalize the profile or name, and just massively tanked the whole world :D
I was in the french army, winter team, and it was one of the most spontaneous, federative, funny and intense moment of my life. Thanks internet for it, and thanks to American streamers for being fairplay at the end.

Everyone hated the French and the moment reddit took their weapons to defend, they just stopped, everyone else attacked the flag, whitening it. On the other hand, spanish streamers DID try to use bots to attack the flag, but they were banned instantly by reddit.
You don't need bots to whiten it that fast, it was being attacked and defended just as fast for the whole duration of the event.
They wrote FRA in the middle of the canvas before it vanished. Another great exemple of France's cohesion and organisation.

Fallait être mieux organisés, personne n’attaquait ensemble de votre côté, nous ils étaient tous sur discord pour coordonner chaque défense… On est un mois après, t’as tout les éléments à ta disposition pour connaître la vérité, mais faut faire preuve de bon sens et de quelques recherches (y a des threads entiers sur r/place qui prouvent que les Français n’utilisaient pas de bots)

The fact that Spanish and american streamers kept saying France was boting because of the script is making me clueless aha it's was just an overlay that give you the information of wich colour you need to put on a pixel to create art. The script was 20 lines of codes very simple just to know colours. And the fact that France still managed to defend against Spanish and americans is very respectful. They even resisted after the spanish streamers implemented a 350 lines of codes script that places the tiles automaticly lmao. It was overall a very fun moment of internet to watch on twitch but it could have been better without the unneeded hate and clashes.
I think what made this so popular was the "unneeded hate and clashes" lol allowed for funny moments and unlikely alliances

The french don't need bots. They have a history of streamers collaborating together for big charity events and they got good at it. Last year edition of the Z Event reunited 52 streamers to win over 10 million € for charity in 3 days.
When hearing french streamers were falsely accused of using bots, a few of them including ZeratoR, the creator of said Z Event, turned on their stream to help through coordinated attack/defense strategies.
MIZKIF should bring all these people to OTK schooled

I read some people didn't understood how we managed to keep our flag, so here our secret (and it's not bots !) engagment and organisation. Alltogether we where more than 500.000 active players, and we where very well coordinated. That why we where able to stand.

I'm a french viewer also, and this was an amazing event to participate to. I don't know you that well but over the past few month i discorvered the OTK part of twitch US and i apreciate alot of your content. The fact that you were the only one not being this categorical on the "french cheaters gate" made me so glad. Indeed thinking that french twitch as a community would be the only one massivly cheating for some reason in such a big event is complete non-sens to me, but anyway... Thanks for being such a good entertainer, can't wait to see what's next in 2027!
As a french viewer, it was really enjoyable to watch
Seeing all the spanish can't handle that the french community was this strong so they started to be complotist as hell telling lies like we were botting was the funniest part for us, it gaves us a reason to doom them (sorry for Hasbulla, we love him too). The sad part was when Ibai, Hassan and Rubius started to insult and taking it way too seriously

Hi ! As a french person I wanted to thank you for being so respectful and chill with Kameto and other french streamers in general. This few days were such a blast but I felt that at some times, some people forgot all that mattered was to have fun, and started to simply get hateful. Some people were so stupid to take this "pixel war" so seriously when, as Kameto said, this should be about creating art together, not destroying.
Overall, I loved this and I was so proud to fight until the end, this was so much fun ! I hope we'll get to do that once more (without the hate if possible :'))

This was the biggest twitch event of all time and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it this whole thing in my opinion was up there with the likes of pewdiepie vs t-series

Honestly, it was probably one of the most entertaining thing i've ever seen happening on the internet. I followed the whole thing on the french side, bc i'm french, but it's cool seeing the other countries perspective's.

A little anectod here : the reason everybody believed French used bots and claimed to have seen clips proving it was because of the way a French streamer pronounced the word "upvotes".
I wish this is how countries fought their wars IRL .. hearing 'em argue over who gets to keep their flags or donkey kongs from griefing would've been so much better instead.

From discovering Rubius in Pogchamps, being a French speaker and watching Miz, Hasan and xQc daily, it was just such a cool and wholesome experience overall

@@Ostrid1 I saw Kamet0 mad 3 times during the event : when they kept repeating bot and script (he said in french yes "bot" in your ass) ; when ibai said "hijo de puta" when talking about his bad english "kamet0 said in french slang "be carefull" because he didn't understood the full sentence. And finally when xqc said "ludwig c'est un fils de pute" (ludwig his a son of a bitch in french) Kamet0 screamed "what did you just said ?" because he didn't heard that he was just insulting ludwig for fun. Nothing else. He was more annoyed than anything especially when ibai started talking about stats / number of viewers / we are your father / the team your own is trash / you wasted your money on this player... This has nothing to do with the actual game and was really rude. All the other thing were just fun and roleplaying. He understood the RP of the Americans than didn't took the thing really seriously. He didn't understood why the Spanish were trying so hard do destroy them. Licking others streamers ass / subgifting other streamer for help /saying they will wear a shirt if they help / making a cringe call for help to BTS army... calling them botters from a clip that showed a simple overlay / saying the name of the account placing tile were bot because of their default reddit name / saying they have 17K bots because they missunderstood a french sentences talking about 17K UPvotes on reddit. And finally making a script with an autoclicker (so clearly a bot)and showing it on stream to try to beat them
This was the best internet event I've lived through. I'm sad it's over but I'm glad it ended the way it did. Best weekend ever.
