2nd time i´m back to this video to replace my routan engine oil using this great instruction. simple and clear Dont forget to "delete" the change oil code on the screen. 1. turn on the key, not the engine 2. press 3 times the gas pedal in less than 10 secs 3. turn off the key 4. wait a few seconds 5, turn on the key again, the code will be gone, once you´re done the truck its good to go and turn the engine back on

Thanks for sharing the oil change tips for VW Routan. I have a 2012 model. It took 6 quarts oil to fill up to the mid of the SAFE mark on the oil stick.
That filter you used isn’t made for synthetic oil. The extra guard is the base model filter. The tough guard would have worked better but ideally you should have used FRAM ultra guard or the Mobil 1 brand filter or K&N all can be found at Walmart

I was gonna say the exact same thing.
6 quart not 4 quart. I put 5 and 1 of Lucas HM treatment.

I read everywhere that it requires 5.9 Quarts of Oil... The video says 5. Can you verify? I want to do this right. :) Thanks!
