I love the way the brace is designed. You can hold the gun higher and the end of the brave still fits nicely in the shoulder.
I think its an A3 Tactical brace. Just got one last week. Pricey but when you get one you will know why.
Interesting how both MrGunsandGear and Tim from MAC both noted issues with the gun itself as well as the mags. It’s a well known issue but no mention of any issues in this review. He’s one lucky reviewer!
Jacob Lucas yeah I like the general descriptions of the guns in his videos, but even if we’re giving the benefit oft he doubt that he did experience any malfunctions (unlikely with the ammo he used), he’s a major gun reviewer so there’s no way he doesn’t know about the issues surrounding the A3 noted by his peers. Im assuming A lot of his viewers trust him, so to not at least bring it up as a side-note is dishonesty by omission.
So... you watched the entire video to compare his review to another's? Fair enough. But you realize that "a review" is ultimately subjective? Gun channels are all getting heavily censored, so let's be supportive of all the content creators, imo...
I'll get off my high horse now....
First off, people buy firearms from my recommendations. Even personal friends and family. I will never hide any findings... ever. Two of my own kids were also with me and I'm not going to lie about my results for that reason alone. Also NCHeel was there to witness our results. I watched MGG and MAC's videos so I understand this questions though.
Mr Gunsngear was testing the first A3 in the country. There were a number of things that we corrected by the end of his video and his last 600 rds were without malfunctions. I have the new upgraded mags and we had zero malfunctions including the bolt staying open on the last round. Tim had a couple of stove pipes.... but the gun functioned great after that. He had concerns about spent cases falling behind the bolt and the magazines not pushing the rounds out correctly but we didn't have any malfunctions so it wasn't a problem for us.
There are too many reviews of each gun that I review to hid or deceive. It would be detrimental to my channel and would profit me nothing. Plus, I'm a man of faith and it goes against who I am. I will always be honest in my findings. What others experience is their results.... not mine. It's a sample of one.
BRAVE NEW ORDER FILMS I watched the entire video to collect as much data as possible on the weapon. That’s the reason I watched the other 2 channels in my comment as well. I’m not trying to troll Sootch, it isn’t like that. But based on this video there’s no reason at all not to go buy the A3 so a different perspective is necessary. I want to support content creators, but we can do that and support the gun community as a whole by calling out faults, even potential faults, of a firearm before people spend their hard earned money on them.
Kasheeka Freeka that may or may not be the case, but the fact remains he isn’t the only reviewer to not the same issues with the Stribog A3.
Wow, very cool. Roller delayed blowback's that aren't made by H&K usually makes me nervous as a ton of companies have tried and failed, especially in terms of reliability. That being said, modern manufacturers have gotten much more advanced than they used to be and this looks pretty solid!
That's a beauty! I stopped buying for 6 months now but I believe this is one that will break the 6 months streak :)
Thank you boss man!
My A3 is being replaced they couldn't even repair it at Global Ordnance. I was told they were waiting on a new batch to arrive but they couldn't tell me if changes were made to improve reliability. I put about 500 rounds through mine all suppressed with Federal 147grain fmj about 25 percent either failure to feed or eject before the bolt got completely stuck and wouldn't cycle.
Donald Lawson watch military arms channel on gen 3 very good video
I’m gonna wait it out till this issue is resolved.
They're working on a fix with Grand Power. Global is just the importer. If there is something seriously wrong, they don't have the ability to fix it on site. This is one of the downsides to working with importers vs. companies having an actual presence in the U.S.: instagram.com/p/CFcQzrmAOwd/
Incorrect data at 15:22. The "pin" you pull out is the roller, that big block doesnt rotate, but the angled slot in it's stem forces that "pin" (its the roller) down in position to delay the bolt.
A scarily inaccurate and downright impossible suggestion of how this rifle works by the reviewer.
Thumbs up I like it but the MP5 is still number one for me. Thank you for the video.
Way to many questions about the Stribog. With that I just decided to go with a Scorpion. Too bad as the Stribog was my first choice before all these little issues.
The SP9A1 is straight blowback, like the Scorpion, and doesn’t have the same suite of issues
The magazines and empty cases falling into the action are two issues common between the two. Enough for me to pass even though I wanted one.
Scorpions are superior in my opinion
@@badas45 Indeed. And with a much bigger budget, the B&T APC9 is an awesome gun too.
This was uploaded 5 days ago I am just now getting the notification RUclips is out of control.. nice review my brother long live the republic
Great break down of the differences between the previous generation mags and the new ones. First time I've seen them compared in a detailed manor.
Thanks Sootch. I love my A1. This guy looks even better..... .
Hi Sootch, thanks for another super review! What I want to tell you is that I have the Grand Power K100, purchased because of your review of it. It is a real tack driver, put 6 rounds on target and you end up with one hole in it. lol! Ny problem with it is the breakdown! As you know, you have to pull down two little tabs on each side of the slide, while at the same time with the other hand pull the slide BACK and lift it off from the rear of the frame. And apparently, at my age, doing both of those with only two hands to work with is close to impossible! But other than that, it's a great gun, I have no plans on getting rid of it in spite of my problems breaking it down!
Just picked up an A1, now I gotta go & get the A3!!! Thanks a lot Sootch! 😁👍
You are one of the VERY VERY FEW who’s videos I watch and hit the like button before even being 2 seconds into the video 🤙🏼
Actually the top front end from the bolt doesn't rotate as you said. That's actually how the roller delaying system works. The pin in it is on a cam and is locked if the bolt goes back. As the bolt goes back it wil lift it over the cam (delayed) so the compete bolt can move back then. This way it lost a lot of energy already, so it's a softer shooter. With HK's they are on the side of the bolt.
My Keltec sub 2000 rifle does everything this does for less, Glock mags, and it is a rifle without the restrictions that a pistol has. Has never failed.
Kel-Tec is a good gun.
Especially the bang for the buck.
The way it folds it makes a great backpack
gun.👍
I had the 2nd Gen and just received the A3. A3 is lighter for sure. The firearms surface feel slightly rough to the touch and the bolt was rough also. Flitzed it and used 2000 grit sandpaper for a few light passes on the outside and 2 min on the bolt. Smooth as glass now !! My steel lipped magazines have to be really smacked in to hold. the 1st and 2nd gen mags go in easy, click right in.
I like what GP is doing but I'm glad I went scorpion. Wanted an HK variant but cash was just too much to justify
I have the A1 with the non reciprocating bolt. I love this thing! Awesome to shoot
Me too.
Weird, Tim from Military Arms Channel says the new A3 is not really that noticeable in comparison to the A2, and that a lot of people are having issues with feeding and issues with the magazines. I don't know if it's worth the extra premium they are charging versus the A2, but that's just me. After doing research, they aren't looking super reliable with different ammo either.
Full disclosure I don’t watch every single review Sootch00 does, but of the several I’ve seen I’ve literally never seen him do anything but gush over every weapon he reviews. I like the videos but never trust the actual review.
Mrgunsandgear did say that there was a noticeable difference, but still not on the same level as HK
Andy Huynh I think he was referring to the reliability of the gun more so than the smoothness of it. I REALLY wanted to love the A3, but I’ve just seen too many reviews noting issues. Picked up a GHM9 and I’m very happy with it.
@@refan6 I guess my wording should have said a HUGE difference. I think it should definitely be noticeable, as there would be no reason to make a different model, but is it HUGE? That's for others to decide...
Mines should be arriving in the next few weeks. I’m also disappointed that there are so many issues but I’m just hoping that GP will listen to MAC and actually try to fix these issues (similar to the PSA AKV situation)
Excellent video and very funny out takes as usual, l like that H and K, all the best.
As always great video. Awesome to see a family enjoying shooting together.
I actually had a rotating barrel firearm. It kept rotating the same direction with every shot. One day it flew off when I was shooting whales in Lake Michigan!
I love these “truck gun” videos! Do you think you’ll eventually do one for the Leviathan Loki 9mm?
Looks really fun to shoot! Great video Sootch00!
Thanks Marc!
Handled one today. Feels great good quality. I have the scorpion if I get the stribog i would get the CZ mag adapter
Everyone: Ammo is expensive and hard to find
sootch: Mag dump!
I have an A2 version (the one immediately prior to this new model). I'm over 500 rounds in so far, about 50-50 aluminum and brass casings. No problem whatsoever. However... the all plastic mags feel weak as hell. I keep my mags loaded, and I feel like I'm storing on eggshells. I'm stoked about the new metal feed lip mags. But I hope Grand Power (or a third party manufacturer) will get serious and manufacture an all metal magazine for the Stribog. For the AR, I have Magpuls and they are great, but in my opinion nothing beats Okay Industries metal mags. Ditto for the AK: I use steel mags in all temperatures and keep the bakelite collector grade mags in the safe where they belong.
I love my A3 , lot of guys hating on them right now but I love this thing
That's because some people (not all) are having very real problems with them which GO is addressing: instagram.com/p/CFcQzrmAOwd/
Military Arms Channel I appreciate the info
The trigger is heavy, but nice pistol for home defense and car/truck gun.
Bud's had SP9A2 for $799 with brace. The price gouging now is crazy.
@Empty Head You are thinking once the election is over all of the chaos, & anarchy will go away? Why would it? If the anti-American cabal lost the election, wouldn't they logically just make everything even worse? If they aren't breathing how can they win? We need a war. They will never stop trying to destroy everything good in America as long as they're breathing.
Great Review! An SP9A3 is on my "wants" list.
Surprised no problems were encountered during the course of fire.
Can we get a list of guns that work flawlessly with you and don’t work at all for Tim at MAC. Lol. Love videos that you both do, but it’s like watching Eeyore and king Midas with the golden touch.
Matt C yeah one hell of a coincidence. MrGunsandGear also reported issues with the A3
Just like the P365.... I have 3000 rds through mine with no malfunctions. Not one. Tim has 3 that all had problems. I even called Tim about it and we discussed the problems. I saw his SP9A3 review..... not sure what's going on with his but all 3 of my Stribogs have been super reliable. He had some good points but that was not my experience. Tim and I are friends and I respect his opinions but I don't seem to have those problems. If I do, I send the firearm back. I'm not reviewing guns with major flaws. Just like the Mossberg MC1.... that gun wouldn't go through one mag without malfunctions. But it's a sample of one.
sootch00 i know when you do a review you mean everything you say, I wasn’t trying to take anything away from you or MAC or imply anything negative. Was more of a try to be funny comment than anything.
@@mattc1602 Thanks Matt. It definitely makes even me question myself but what we experienced is true.. I knew after watching Tim's review, there would be a lot of question. I appreciate the reply.
MAC is the one channel that’s suspect. More often than not he has issues. Some how “breaks” these firearms. Even when sent back to manufactures they unusually don’t run right. Very odd.
I love PCCs. Wish I could afford this very one!
Check out the Extar EP9
@Jacob Lucas , thanks for that recommendation!
@@frankmartinez1159 , thank you for that recommendation!
@@nmr6988 You are welcome.
I’ve said it before, I love the bloopers at the end of the videos, it’s like watching a Burt Reynolds movie, you should slap Robbie Wheaton like Dom Delouse....GLAND POWER
Thanks Brother!
It is a good gun, but personally I don't feel that the price reflects the upgrade. Now that being said, I would like to see a larger caliber offering such as .45ACP. It's not that I have anything against 9mm, I just preffer larger caliber weapons.
I have one of these. Love it. I rather wish it took Glock or CZ magazines without having to spend a lot of money on a new lower.
I hope I can buy it in France one day...Beautiful
I hope you can buy it in France one day too... The French have given us the idea of Liberty here in America, I hope we can help France regain Hers one day.
How do you like the A3 tactical brace compared to the others? Thanks for all the wonderful reviews
SP9A2 is so reliable. hope i can pick up the upgraded mags sometime soon though.
That is sweet!! I would love to have that.
Forgot to mention Global has been great with customer support I have full confidence they'll make things right. Hopefully the new batch doesn't have the same issues.
They are good people. They are working on a fix: instagram.com/p/CFcQzrmAOwd/
Either you got a perfect Stribog or you are not completely honest. I do enjoy your reviews BUT I would rather have honest information vs glowing reviews. I want to know Pros AND Cons that are truly reflective of the firearm. Thank you.
He is an arms dealer in the end. Selling weapons is what he does...
A1 gen 2 just bought one and the magazine cracked right away. so far just one.... they agreed to replace it... Hope magpul or psa come out with better magazines. Guns great... magazines... not so much.
This makes my man parts happy ;)
Thanks for the review but , good luck trying to find one !!!!
Sir, have you fired the Extar9 ?? For the price it is a smoking little truck gun. I was initially concerned that it would not put up with a lot of use but mine .. and my son-in-law's have so far run everything we have put thru it. Scott. Great video. Thank you for what you do.
I can't wait get mine! Did you shoot any fiocchi JHPs through yours? I wonder if they will reliably feed.
Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching J!
I like it!
To avoid confusion with roller-locking, I'd advise against using the word "lock" when referring to roller-delay systems.
It's really a good truck gun!
SP9A3 or AKV? Inquiring minds want to know. I’m leaning towards the AKV.
I'd say akv or scorpion until the issues around these are resolved.
Hey Scott can you put the A3 bolt and a A1?
I've been a fan for some time but can't help wondering why none of the guns you review ever have a malfunction? Tim at M.A.C will review the exact same gun and it will have issues, they aren't always a deal breaker but still good information to have.
I’ll stick with my B&T apc9, stribog is a nice alternative though
No, it's not.
Tim at Military Arms Channel had problems with this new gun!
Tim loves the drama.
@@toddfeltman3748 Actually, Tim get's fixes for you. Grand Power is working on replacing the locking pieces. I also got fixes for the AKV9 done, one of which PSA named the "MAC Bracket". So, my "drama" ends with you getting a superior product. You're welcome.
@@Militaryarmschannel I won't argue that point because it's true, and I'll never say you manufacture problems to get clicks. But you still love the drama! :)
Global is working on a fix: instagram.com/p/CFcQzrmAOwd/
@@toddfeltman3748 Please post a link to any video where I'm "enjoying drama". I report the facts as I find them. Just because I post problems I have doesn't mean I enjoy the drama that ensues. I would prefer not to deal with trolls causing drama.
SPA91 Was not cold hammered force. Are you sure the A3 is?
Can you fit the Gen 3 Delayed Roller Lock Bolt system into the SP9A1?
No
I have the SP9A1 and wondered this too. I wonder why not?
Love to see these in 45 or 10 😛
Im about to get the Stribog SP9A1 Gen 2 - PDW brace with tailhook.
Does this model have the same FTF/FTE issues like the A3 ?
Is it safer to get the A1 , Gen 2 at this time?
Outstanding!!!
How does it works with subsonic ammo? Because in other videos the stribog has had a few malfunctions with some type of rounds...
Have all the issues been fixed on this firearm or do you still but it and have to send it back out for the roller upgrade?
How hard would it be to make an upper like this for my SBR AR lower?
Very. There's a reason you don't see much AR 9mm type stuff being sold. Going from a gas system to blowback system in completely different calibers means you change a lot of things. It's not a simple swap the upper solution. Not to mention the 9 recoils more than a 223 and it's about the same price. There are kits available to convert your registered lower but like I said, it's not really a swap back and forth kind of thing.
Was hoping that SPA 3G would run better than the other ones... Should have known better... It's not like the company didn't know that the gun was going to jam saying so so many of them are that I see on the internet. C****
I’ll still take a Scorpion over this🤷🏻♂️
Scorpions are ugly ... Stribog is the milk
yep Stribog looks so cool, nope it look best
Watch that thumb at 5:53....
“Thumbs way up lol”
Review the sig m18 please I need your opinion.
Come on scootch How many truck guns do you have I’d like to see inside your truck one day LOL
Can i order it through my local gunshop or is their a better place to get it online? Is it on backorder?
Oh! It's a rapid finger automatic fire!
I don't know who to believe. Tim from military arms channel says there's not much difference at all in terms of recoil. Then sootch and a few other guys are saying it's a massive difference. I trust Tim, but I dont know. I already ordered one and I'm picking it up today. I hope its not being hyped for no reason.
I'm sure there's a difference, but a HUGE difference it is NOT... It shoots 9mm, so it's already not that bad, but this video makes it out to be a night and day difference, and I just refuse to believe that, considering all of the reviews and write-ups I have read.
Shawn Willis it wasn’t just Tim. Watch the MrGunsandGear video. That dude is ALWAYS honest and he had a lot of issues with the one he tested. Good luck man.
@@shojus I'm sure your probably right. I think it might be pretty good for suppression at the very least. I just hope its not going to be a jam'omatic.
@@shawnwillis7561 I'm thinking they will take care of you if there are major issues, so don't be too worried. I just think it was rushed to market, and some kinks still exist. I don't have one though, so I just gotta go by what I have seen and read.
@@jgibby905 ive seen it. I thought that they would work out the kinks with the new mags. I think Tim and Mr.gng are spot on. Tim said they should have curved the mags. I agree
What is the length of that brace with the tailhook on it?
Review the sig p-210 target!
I'm not even gonna look for one, surely unavailable just like the ammo for it.
Actually they are in stock , go over to Gunzonedeals.com
Have you tried any of the HBI upgrades/tweeks? AND why is that SPA3 soooooo expensive?
Supply and demand...the laws of economics. I can’t believe the new bolt makes it that much more costly to make.
Model 70 super grade review? Attempt 4
Love my A2. It shoots flat and never chokes. I don’t know what these haters are talking about. If you cram those mags they get tight. Just load 28 instead of 30. You need to lubricate the mags as well.
You shouldn't need to lube your mags, especially when they're plastic. You shrugged off critics by calling them haters and then proceeded to talk about one of the flaws. lol
iDeagles I do this with all my mags. Glock, AR, AK etc.
What is its firing range
How do you get ammo for this thing!!!!!!!!!!
This was uploaded 15secs ago but, has 2 comments from 6 days ago. We seem to have entered a temporal anomaly.
I'm sure he releases these videos to his patrons first, so they get to watch it a week before it even hits non-patrons.
How does this compare with the CZ Scorpio Evo3?
+Raul Torres You can get full auto parts for the scorpio you can't with this
I'm a big fan of the EVO 3 . Anything CZ is quality. But the recoil impulse on the SP9A3 is superior. Less felt recoil and control-ability. The Roller Delay Blowback is impressive.
@Jacob Lucas I'm not sure what you mean but full auto projects are a lot of fun. I did my mp5 I did my ar-15 I'm saving up for the right drilling fixture for my AK with the optics rail.
@Jacob Lucas Yes you can. I mean I had to send my mp5 trigger group to get pinned and clipped to fit my semi auto upper at hkparts but besides that I did it all myself with a drill press and proper drilling fixtures. You can too :-)
@Jacob Lucas Quelle horreur! :-)
So in the eyes of the ATF is this considered a Pistol or An SBR ??
This is a pistol. Designed to shoot with one hand and is not designed or intended to be shouldered (no butt stock).
I likey
Why people want these pcc guns is beyond me. Like buying a full size truck with a four cylinder and two wheel drive with 15” tires.
I've been hearing they are having problems with them.
