The total loss of control and the begrudged acceptance that inevitably follows. The Rolling Stones said "You can't always get what you want,-----you get what you need" but sometimes you just get what you get and hav to deal with it. This song somehow helps with that. 🙃

But then the people you were going to sit with start singing this and make the situation worse😂😂😂 but they all suck at singing because of voice cracks and shit, but then you get all nostalgic because there is someone that makes you not want to grow up plus they were the one person not laughing, and then you here the lyrics from this song and need to listen for an hour while duct taping your face your girlfriend's shoulder, and then the player that everyone thinks has a tiny pp but still likes bumps into you and makes you and your gf fall, and then you realize your life is a joke, but then the one person that didn't laugh and doesn't have voice cracks picks your life up and helps you because they are really nice, and then you become friends, then you hang out with them a lot so everyone thinks you're gay for that person yet people don't know what a good friend is because people are mean and decide to be dicks instead of friends, but that person still stays with you because they really want to be friends with you but then you realize that it was all a dream because you don't come from a place that the person would be friends with you, and on top of that you don't have a girlfriend, but then the person jumps on you in a friendly way while you're talking to someone and asks about stuff, but then turns around to walk with better people, but then you shed one year knowing that they do know you're a person and it's not a dream so you get really happy and try to ask if they want to go hang out, but blow it because you're not good enough to hang out with but that was an after school nap dream and he actually does want to hang out in a friend way not a gay way but that person doesn't know what they want to do and they think that they aren't good at shit (I feel like that's a lot of people though) but you try to repay the favour for that person being nice to you and tell them that they are good at shit but then realize that they were nice to you in a dream, and now you look a bit stupid, and then that person actually makes your life go faster, but then you realize that it was just a dream again, (remember the next part) but you say you think you're not friends with them, but they think you are, and if you asked they would just not answer, but then that person realized that you are hesitant on whether you are friends or not, because they realized that they haven't replied to your message "how's quarantine" check your instagram messages btw if you're reading this on insta but anyways they maybe feel a bit bad because they now realize that you thought you weren't friends with them, because you guys didn't talk much, and when you did it was really short because they had better things to do then talk to you of all people and so they ask you if you thought your friendship didn't mean anything to them and say yes because you're dumb, but remember that when you first entered highschool thinking "wow... He looks like he would be a real, trustworthy and funny friend" not knowing that he mainly hung out with his friends from his school and that one kid that a lot of people like at your school, and you think you'll never be friends, but they say that they the friendship you shared together ment a lot and you are friends, but maybe he doesn't say that because not a lot of people like you and he has an ego even though he's weird, and doesn't want to be seen with you maybe, but you couldn't connect through classes because you had none together and it was sad because you could only connect through one sport technically two but you hate one, and he never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever picked you to play that sport with and everyone was devided into two teams, and you didn't get to play with that person at all so you were sad, and I forget where I was going so I'm done.
I'm not sure why, but i really like this melody, or precisely this bit of the song. It makes me feel like it's the end of the story, but not a good one for you/me/main protagonist. And though you realise it's sad, you understand that other people have their one lives and keep on living without a care. It's like some of the other comments talking about how this reminds them of a crush responding negatively to a request, again, it feels sad, except some time in the futur, you eventually forget about those feelings, and all you can do is hope for the best of that friend and prepare for the worst that'll come to you in the near futur. Kinda like an animated movie where the protagonist actually loses even with doing everything he/she could've done to make the situation better.
