I own a pair of the regular Salomon xt4’s and xt wings, they are honestly the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn... and they look great! Keep up the reviews and content, always entertaining and something to look forward to every Sunday!

The Bamba 3’s are my favourite silhouette, in a cloud/dive grey.
Sizing on them is sooo wonky. I’m a true UK 9.5 or EU 43. In the 11BBS x Salomon I wear a 45.

Super interested to see what shoes you'd be interested in object-dyeing! What silhouettes are you considering?
Potentially the Vomero (the regular Nike version) because the solarised ACW ones give an idea of how they might turn out and that has a few different materials that'll hold the dye differently. But some white Salomon ones would be great too, just depends what's available really!

Yo Ant, theres a mesh pocket on the top of the tongue where you can stash your laces at. Somebody pointed it out to me on TWC and it blew my mind

Great video, as always. I’m a big Ekin (Nike fan) but I’ve also got a couple of pairs of Speedcross 4 trail shoes plus some X Ultra Mid 3 goretex boots. They get beaten up but have been comfortable to wear straight out of the box. Wish I could justify getting some Bambas but instead I’m eyeing up a pair of S/Lab XT-4 or XT-6 shoes

Hi! Hope you come across this as I had a question about sizing for these. How do they compare to XT-6 if you ever had a pair of those salomons. Or how does the sizing compare to other brands like Nike, Vans, or New Balance. Thanks!
Before I knew some of these were dyed, I saw them on grailed listed as “gently used”.....I thought to myself “gently used my ass”..... these look like they been thru hell and back.

Would love to see you dyeing some shoes! I've been searching for info on their technique but haven't found much so far. You'll have it way easier with your connections to the DIY part of the community I'm sure. @hiddedevries_ on IG has made some DIY solarized-esque ACW Vomero 5 that are really cool. Filling Pieces had some dyed sneakers as well that looked kinda similar in technique to the Bamba (they recently disappeared from the website though). Next problem is finding a good sneaker model for dyeing. The Nike P6000 and the Reebok Royal Hyperium look promising with their many panels made from different materials, I might try one of those out. Enjoy your Bambas man, finding that size must have been quite hard :D

How are these in the rain considering they're dyed? It's the only thing that's holding me back (apart from the price of course). Great video btw!
I tried wetting some of the dye, on the sole, and it didn’t spread. But the box came with a warning that says it could potentially rub off (or something like that)
I literally just copped this model in red cause they were on sale. I also have the Bamba 3 high in B/W for winter fits

This Is Antwon I got them at $300 after shipping, not the cheapest shoes, but a lot easier to stomach than retail. I’ve been lusting for this colorway for long enough to justify it anyway 😂 I feel the bambas are one of the better shoes to inject colors into a tech-approved package

i know this isnt a good comparison. if i am an US size 8 in air forces, would I be an 8 US in these or 8.5 US? the sizing is a bit confusing since there really isnt much info online regarding sizing yet theres so many fit pics lol

Hey man, have you ever bought something from "Yesstyle" website? I bought pants and a hoodie there (It's kinda the Chinese quality type clothes because they are pretty cheap) and the sizes I got are completely wrong.

I think I've seen US 13 (UK 12.5) before in some 11 By BBS models but they are super rare - even US 12 doesn't get made in all styles

they left on the dye runs and scuffs where the paint has come off, makes it look like an amateur did it rather that cool and gritty..... for that much extra money, i would paint them myself or pay someone else to do it if i wanted it done that bad.

@@newcityboiii yes use alcohol based dye and know that it will fade slowly overtime which creates a cool effect, and you can also redye it if you want
