I have personally discovered that the harder I work at my shooting the worse it gets, I always remind myself that I am into archery for the fun of it whether I'm in the back yard or a tournament. Your group sounds like a fun way to get back into form, enjoy and relax. Live archery, love archery, laugh when you screw up.
I sure like your takedown Striker Bow. It's in my plans to purchase one of those... and eventually get a extra set of limbs... 1 set longbow limbs with the bow... then a extra set of recurve limbs. It's funny how people that love archery... in no time... have a semi large collection of bows. Good Video
I can relate to your good end that you weren't scoring. I switched from shooting a compound to recurve for 3D competition. Which resulted in Target Panic that I fought for 15 yrs, I have finally conceded. Now I have switched to the Olympic Recurve, competing against myself... It's my passion. Keep shooting and enjoy yourself :-)
I've had same problem, after shooting a compound for 40 years on and off. I'm gonna stick to shooting my Hoyt Satori for 3D;s, come hell or high water.
Well im liking the new technical archery terms Flea 😮. Fartin Around 👍🏽 Tuck ya butt 👍🏽 Dump ya quiver 👍🏽. 😁. Good work, stay safe 😎👍🏽. All the best from the UK 😊.
The number one question is do you shoot to enjoy yourself or do you have to hit bullseyes to enjoy yourself. As long as YOU are having fun that's all that matters you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Keep the videos coming and stay healthy thank you.
I have a backyard range and practice by shooting half gallon milk cartons at 20 yards. When I'm comfortable at hitting them I switch to beer cans at 20 yards. Aim small miss small 🎯
Thanks for making an other video. Nice to see that you're OK. I was also wondering what you were up to. And just as many wise archers have said in the past; Don't worry about the arrows you have shot. They are already out of your control. Just focus on the next one you're going to shoot. Have fun and stay safe.👍
Another great video, Flea.Like most people, shoot better when nobody is watching. Glad to see you're doing well, during the Pandemic. Hope to run into you at another shoot, next year... ;-)
If it's any help, the fastest way to get it back together, is to shoot ten yards. You get through a lot of shots, in a little time. Even ten minutes per day made a big difference at the start of lockdown.
@@bowsanderrors4017 maybe do what I do now the range is open, and shoot two or three ends at ten yards before moving back. Gets you through in eighteen arrows in a few minutes, and helps get a rhythm. I find it smoothes out my release quite a lot too.
Hey Flea, always great to see a new video from you I hope no strings were harmed during the making of that video? ;) I mean, you DID use scissors... Just kidding ;) I totally get that you decided to not go on any tournaments/competitions with having health issues beforehand, you need to stay safe Nice shooting tho, you really are the type of person that needs to kick itselfs butt to get going, lol Greetings from Germany
Tuck my butt? Is that where I'm going wrong? Seriously though this sounds like a good way to practice. I'm a nightmare at trying to focus on this type of target face. I'm only shooting on a Tuesday night at the club and there it's mostly a 25 metre one arrow round (about 27 yards and a foot) being one of two instinctive shooters there it can be demoralising. But yeah it is what it is. Another good video Flea, cheers 👍
Sounds to me like your just a little lonely, in that BIG backyard, oh that's right, you have a couple of dog friends, trouble is they can't shoot a bow with you. Don't mean to analyze your latest videos, maybe I recognize the symptoms, because we all need someone to share with, our passions.

Oh, I definitely enjoy myself. But, I also enjoy competing, so either way I’m having a good time.
Just perfect!
Aw, thanks!
It's all about the fun... But is nice to put the arrow in the middle.
100% accurate
Brilliant shooting art of ....eh, brilliant art target of shooting....no, I try to say : « You Are The Best»👍👍👍🏹
I’m the best...of something.
Don't feel bad...we all know it isn't easy.
I don’t think I’d love it as much if it was.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it 🎯
Nice shooting ✌
Let it go, let it go..Let if free your body let it move your soul.. :)
I DON’T CARE WHAT THEY’RE GOING TO SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

Nice! I like to shoot full cans (of less delicious beer) to watch them explode
Life is to short to drink cheap beer 🍺
Nice one at the end... when the pressure's off. Love your turquoise hair "tassel"!!
Thank you!

I never really worry. I don’t mind bad shots as long as I have some good ones, too
Love your videos. What is the green and yellow pom pom thing hanging from your quiver?
Thank you! That’s an arrow cleaner for when I shoot my arrows into the dirt.

Someday we will shoot together!!

Sometimes I do that! If I wasn’t in this little competition, I would have.

slow and low; that is the temp-o.
Let it flow, I LET MYSELF GO 😂
You will pick it up quicker -if all else fails .... cry and they will give you a few extra arrows.
Nah, man. So far that hasn’t worked.
It’s got to be a messy cry. Like snot and heaving ... put your back into it. Works for me
Ah! I’ll give that a try. Maybe send me an instructional video? 😂😀

It’s always that 3rd arrow🤬. Just switched over to longbow and at first they were all 3rd arrows🙄
It would be boring if all shots were perfect!
@@bowsanderrors4017 boring can be nice sometimes😆
Actually, it is a very environmental friendly approach to be able to reuse a target..🙃🎯 (and not shoot it up in one go)
I reuse them usually. I just wasn’t sure with this new group if I was supposed to use a new one each time to document my shots.
Love the tat
Thanks!
What kind of bow do you have?
This one is a Striker Stinger, Grizzly Jim signature series
Miss ya Flea
How's the Striker working out??
I’ll just say this: it’s spoiled me for all other bows. I love it.
you forgot to say "lemon meringue pie"
Hah ha! Lately it’s more “keep your damn hand still” 😂
