Taking out debt has always been nerve wrecking to me and counter to what I was taught growing up. Definitely need to switch that mindset. This was a great episode and one that came at a perfect time for me! Thanks as always Jordan!

I'd like to learn more about financing new equipment for my laundromat here in Oregon. Are you able to share some info on who to contact?

Shoot me an email at jordan@laundromatresource.com and I’ll send a couple of email introductions for you (I don’t get anything from that, just trying to connect people with the best resources!)

i worked at 2 laundromats during covid! let me tell you how busy we got. the business made more money but that made more work for us making sure there were only 15 people allowed inside at once and also we started getting more drop offs because people stayed home longer and they had clothes worth at least a month and we started getting families clothes. and we had more folding to do. and at 1 laundromat, there was no AC. just fans , wearing a mask all day and folding clothes in covid summer. i made a lot in tips but imagine being exposed to other peoples clothes tht possibly be covid ridden. surprisingly, i never caught covid . i got it in april 2020

“Do what the government does” because the government has done so well at handling money, hence the trillions we can’t pay back. 🤦‍♂️🤯

Lol, watching this in 2022, an inflation rate of 5% isn’t extreme. We wish it was only 5%…

I always enjoy your podcasts and they always contain lots of useful info, but I have to question reason number five: Tax depreciation on new equipment. This implies that used equipment is not eligible for tax depreciation. But I thought that used equipment was also eligible for depreciation.

Used equipment definitely is eligible for depreciation, as well. It doesn't have to be new for that to apply. Check with your CPA for details on your situation, though!
