📍Where? Lake Havasu City, AZ
📌 𝘈𝘥𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘈𝘳𝘪𝘻𝘰𝘯𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵-𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘴!
🇬🇧 I was today years old when I found out that the actual London bridge - yes, the one from London England - was transported here …to Lake Havasu City, Arizona!
Many people confuse the iconic Tower Bridge (that remains in London) with the real London Bridge. However, the two are different and the latter was bought and moved to this Arizona town by Robert McCulloch in the 1960s.
💰 Bidding on the bridge for $2.4 million - Robert had a hunch and hope that this iconic piece of British history would drive growth to his tiny town.
😮 The purchase even included the ornate lampposts (as seen in my reel) made from the melted-down cannons captured by the British from Napoleon's army, after the Battle of Waterloo in 1815!
And …You can even see World War II graffiti on the bridge of two U.S. servicemen names!
🗺️ Visitor’s can download a self-guided tour map for their visit! It helps point out significant features, facts and more!
⛵️ Lake Havasu in itself is worth visiting! Known as The Personal Watercraft Capital of the World - there’s plenty for visitors to see and do! Along with stellar views! But, the bridge adds a little something extra to it all.. if you ask me!
🍻 Eat & drink along the water? Shugrue's Restaurant and Brewery Group, The Chair and Javelina Cantina.
🛌 Where to stay? There are so many options! For campers - there’s no shortage of RV parks right along the water! Same goes for hotels (like the London Bridge Resort).

Shit i just found it out today and lived in arizona for about 28 years before moving to vegas. Me and my dad were talking about in n out burger and he said theres one by the london bridge, then went onto a history lesson. Lol
No way they took that here all the way from London on the backs of killer whales and donkeys ain’t no way!
