So glad to see this tiny home! I'm budgeting my 20ft tiny home at 30k and this makes me more confident in capability! Thank you guys for your amazing journey and inspiring alot of great change 👍
This is probably one of the most well thought out layouts in a tiny house that I have ever seen! And then to see how well it works for two adults and a dog, AND that it was planned and built by someone with no prior tiny home building experience, and all of that in 24’! Beautiful and inspiring!! Oh, and the bathtub! 💚
@ Crystal Marie - she is trained and usually isn’t an issue, but can get the zoomies when people are over and there’s not enough room for that 😅 we very rarely use them
Nice, clean, and compact with all the things a couple would need. I like how you both made sure to have space for what the other likes and I gotta have a bathtub if I ever go tiny. Always love seeing that in a build for ideas 💡
What a pretty home. The area and yard around the home is nice and spacious. You are a very nice couple. Best wishes on your wedding and future together. Thank you, for showing us your home.
This is an adorable home. The front patio area looks so relaxing! I love the light coming in the inside. The sage colored kitchen cabinets are a great, relaxing color. The bathroom is very nice. Everything in this home was done to perfection! Best of luck to this sweet couple!💕
Being really clear about what you expect from and out of people is really a great idea! Everyone, everyone should do that before living with each other ❤
Tiny houses are the way to go, This is well thought out, well designed, all the amenities of a large house, but definitely more affordable, Great way of life.
Very thorough and helpful construction and stylish Shed Plans! ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcLVQopTIucrxiVRQA0khLGQEnDVKCSMG Numerous examples of different shed styles . Other may feature more styles, but this was the best Ryan's Shed Plans I found that gave a good sampling and a lot of good information about actually constructing a shed.
It's good to have goals, just be sure to adapt, as that sometimes can be stressful when things don't go the way you planned it. This is a good starter home and also a sweet future rental when you go a bit bigger.
Although you stated your bathtub is just shy of standard size, it appears to be a bit wider than some, I like that, good choice. Your kitchen colors, pretty.
$850!!! It's been about 10 years but RV spaces use to be 350.00/monthly. It's crazy the amount of rental space costs now! Very cute Tiny House, thanks for sharing.
Lovely tiny home and layout. The only thing I would change is the placement of the stove. I feel like it is in the way of a good sitting space to have coffee or breakfast. But still love it
So frustrating how cities are zoned, that things like tinys and grannie flats are so hard to build. I lived in an older neighborhood in my city's downtown, in a mother's-in-law quarters, and I loved it! Now I'm in the townhouse I inherited from my parents, it's paid off and the HOA isn't atrocious.
I like the floor plan but personally I'd change the roof to a shed roof with the highest part over the loft and stairs. Also, using a gas stove without a vent hood to exhaust the combustion gases is bad for your health, especially in a very confined space.
In retrospect, the roof is something we would definitely change to give more room in the loft. And add a vent hood - we can open windows or turn on the ceiling fan fine but the fire alarm goes off a lot without the vent hood. Definitely some things we wish we knew before hand but we knew nothing 😅
Love your tiny house. I'm also in Austin out by ABIA. What is the community you live in. I've been looking for a location and my search has been difficult.
wanting a few more clothes and a dining room table - I hear you girl - that’s why I’d need a 10’ wide tiny - good on you two for “working thru / talking thru” what you both need in your living space - conventional or tiny - much success to you both 🇨🇦🙏
What a sweet home for a cute couple! All the best in the future and for the wedding. (You could buy some land and have another small tiny house or cottage right next to this one.)
Definitely overpriced lot rent for a tiny house.... As usual, landlords taking advantage of people...and raising the rents for no reason...then people end up right back where they started.
Wowwww, I would just made a foldable extension to the countertop for a place to put foldable stools and use it as a table for a place to do computer work, would also add an extension to the little table by the window, would have small puffs that have space inside, in the living area
I thought about that but it wasn’t really needed for our lifestyle/work. Only one of us works from home and I’d prefer to work via the coffee table, which has storage, as does our couch. We were going to build a foldable table under the window but had to alter design and fell in love with the little pantry we found. All good ideas though!

03:04 i fell like a shed this big is a bit of cheating on the "downsize" aspect. I come to these videos to find storage solutions to basic everyday needs. Tools, cleaning appliances...
We got a bigger shed (5’x6’) because 1) my gf moved from PA and had furniture that was passed down in her family that she didn’t want to sell and couldn’t easily bring to her family 2) I have all of my childhood things, pictures, etc in my possession and do not have family to keep it until we get a bigger place. We do also keep all of our lawn care things in there, tools, dog crate, and generator, etc. We’re not nomads and always planned to stay in one location so increased storage wasn’t necessary in house. Also, this was built for one person, the girlfriend didn’t come into the picture until years into the build so everything planned had to now accommodate another person (who never planned on going tiny) instead of just one. We downsized a lot. I’m sure there are other people that have tinys or lifestyles that more match what you’re looking for. Good luck.
