The hi-hat in the song is awesome, Bonzo letting you know he's playing for the song and at the same time he's saying "I'm here". Great drums sound, great performance 🔥🔥
Liking the room. Look cool, like ice cream.
What a treat the last minute was.
yes!
Another great cover George. That snare! Lots of nuance in Bonzo’s playing on this one, as well as the usual subtle swing, which is an attribute he often doesn’t get enough credit for.
Thanks!
Love it George!
It's like when you pop the shell on a Funny Car ... and you can see the big block underneath it all making all the power laid bare.
Listening to George never gets old 🤟🏻
"I gotta fever....and the cure....is more cowbell!" No? OK, I'll show myself out.
🤣 I should have overdubbed!
Just killin' it Geo.... Love the outro!!!
I gave a thumbs up immediately due to the snare sound. It has body and bite!!
Love those ever changing guitar licks Page adds in-between the verses.
Excellent, George! The outro was killer! Lovin the room too! Keep up the good videos comin!
You drum set sounds absolutely beautiful, there's no sweeter sound to my ears than a kit tuned perfectly,
Thanks for that.
🙏🏼
2:25 🔥
Excellent as always ❤
Excellent blending of the studio version playing and if the track had been played live in concert, George! 🙂
👍
Great as always George
greetings from brazil! yeahhhh bonzo feelings :D.. beatiful drumset george.. you can tell me more about your set? cymbals, snare.. remember a lot so much bonzo!!
Thank you, the drums set is described in a video from a month ago, it's also in the description in this video. Cymbals are vintage 2002 18,20 crash, 15 sound edge hats, 24 inch vintage 602 ride
Great job , really appreciate Bonhams drumming !
un suono devastante e mostruosamente bellissimo ❤❤ come sempre perfetto ❗
Mille Grazie, Davide
I bet that kit sounds amazing sitting behind it. It seems to have a "near-field" vibe
MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
Killer as always, George! Those vistas rule!
From the Chicago suburbs- Sounds great and you have perfected his sound. Was my favorite drummer growing up.
1:42 is just killer. For some reason I never registered what he did there so I appreciate you posting this. Fantastic job as always.
Rock on, Brother🤘🏼👊🏽
Inspiring ... really really great...
Thanks a lot
Awesome job
drums sounding super nice as usual 👌
God, I just LOVE your playing George. Don't get me wrong, I like Houses, but it's not my favorite Zep song, but you play it so much like Bonham it's just..."Chef's kiss!"
Thank you!
Great!!
Nice jam!😎
Top notch playing! The drums sound absolutely immense, they really go well with that 402 tuning from an absolute peach of a snare drum. Very powerful indeed maestro. 🙏
PS, hope you have a great day! 😉
Thanks !!
Heavy Steady, that was nice George. Agree, that last 1:30 was nice, sounded perfect. 🙂
Greatness! 👏🥁 thx G!
Thank you George. In your own way you keep the magic alive, that right foot is connected to Bonzo's soul!
🙏🏼 thank you
That definitely was epic, and in the pocket. Cheers! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🥁
Could not do that song without Vistas and the sweet sound of the cymbals tools of trade. Can’t stop you now the drums are playing you Loud N Proud!!!!!!!!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice, G! 4:37 fill badass.
A paradiddle-diddle?
And the Bonzoleum shirt!!!! Who loves ya, G!
@@bonzoleum ♥️😂👍🏻
Loved the last minute. Great as always George!
George, could you consider doing a cover of trampled under foot version on Celebration Day? Thanks
Perhaps!
This is a great Led Zeppelin song that’s been on the back shelf for so long because they just have so many hits this one never makes the list not even for them when they played live and George as always A+++ and bonus footage at the end well I’ll be smiling the rest of the night.
I'm really loving your grooves after the song ends. Smooth like butter.
Yes- the fadeout run!
Great job George! Love this tune.
Nobody does Bonzo like George. Proof is in the puddin, and he's puddin that down. 😁.
😂 Thanks!!
Thanks Professor!!!
Excellent. So many things to like here. The hi-hat flourishes sound very close to the recording. The snare, amazing. I think it's great that you've also managed to make those acrylic drums sound good. Only critique, and it's very small, and I'm sure you'd want someone to tell you this, the last floor tom, is out of tune. I'm sure you probably already know this. Fantastic job brother.
Thank you, yeah the 18 is still a bit hard for me to tune the way I want it, it's quite a beast
Awesome George (Bonzo)❤ 👍💯💥
Sounds beautiful
Nice shadow of the track. But the solo at the end was the REAL tasty bit! Thanks for that!
5:13 !
Excellent timing like you're playing with a metronome
Thanks!
Nice outro!
Viva la Vistalite!!
Jesus that very last single stroke rip down the toms is just wow. That's probably the one thing I wish I could do to be satisfied with my playing. I've tried and tried but maybe I'm just not sure how to do it. But damn you got that so smooth.
Thanks very much, that's a triplet run. Just practice your triplets evenly, maybe with a metronome, and build up your speed
When I watch these videos, I see George Fludas. When I close my eyes and just listen to these videos, I hear John Bonham.
Bièn, bièn...😊
Love the song but enjoyed the beat(s) after the song quit playing, more 🤔😊
NaILED DUDE
Rci should give you a kickback for every referral you give them
😂 I did get a good deal on the kit.
@@BONHAMOLOGY So you fucking should bro
Here we go again you need to get your own style your not John Bohnam
🤷🏻♂️ Most people seem to appreciate what I'm doing, if it rubs you the wrong way, simply don't watch. This channel is specifically devoted to analysis and demonstration of Bonham's style, However, I Branch off and do other covers, play alongs, for example, the recent cover of David Bowie's Heroes, and the theme for The Rockford Files. You do realize that I've had a career for over 30 years as a professional jazz musician? This isn't the extent of my musical life. 🙄
Harsh!
Your own style is a culmination of listening and emulating your heroes
and then doing your own thing.
You have to start somewhere and where better then
the Master of Rock Drums.
You sound like a tool
I’m sure I could run circles around you.
I think I’ll play Black Dog now🎵
@@BONHAMOLOGYMan don’t listen to trolls! This video content is awesome!
LOL Thanks for the laugh, tool bag.
