- Hello :) This needle felting angel tutorial will show you the materials I use and the step-by-step process of how I make my angel ornaments. The angels are so soothing and peaceful to have around- they will make amazing gifts for your friends and family.

Material List:
Finished angel weight is about 0.85 ounces/ 24 grams
White wool 0.28 ounces/8 grams or more
Rainbow/Favorite color wool 0.40 ounces/ 11 grams
Beige/skin color roving
Angelina sparkle fiber (optional)
Suri alpaca locks for hair or roving 0.04-0.07 ounces/1-2 grams
Locks for decoration
Pipe cleaner /Fuzzy wire
Felting needle #38 gauge (all purpose) and fine gauge #40
Felting foam
Quickstart Tips:
-When poking the wool, poke in and out at the same angle to avoid breaking the needle
-Avoid poking the wire/pipe cleaner
-The more you poke, the smaller and tighter your wool will felt

Hi there Pen Arri! Thank you! I used Suri alpaca locks for my angel hair since I raise Suri alpacas. You can search on Etsy for Suri alpaca locks. You can also buy washed Suri alpaca fleece in small quantities and align the fiber yourself. I have a tutorial on how to do that.
