I have subscribed to 100's of food channels over the past, and I have created multiple playlists and pinned 1000's of recipes. I have even re-created many of the recipes that I really liked. Though I have never seen someone who taught the science of cooking combined with aromatic and satisfying Indian flavours as well as you have in your video that I have had the pleasure of seeing today. I have also seen NONE of the indian cooks use gloves in their cooking for a more hygenic approach, and I think that you recipe will take me back to my childhood days when I give it a shot this weekend! Please keep posting more recipes! :)

bharatzkitchen Hey Bharat, I`m happy that I made your day. I took a closer look at your channel and noticed that you have posted a lot of good recipes, but they are mostly focused on fried foods. Don`t get me wrong, I love chilli chicken with fried chicken bits just as much as the next person, but I also love a lot of nutritious meals that contain a large number of vegetables and grains. I would try and post more recipes such as vegetable curry and biryani, spicy okra, oats upma or even a rava idli recipe would be awesome! I am sure there is tonnes of science around the fermentation of the batter for idlis or dosas that you could touch up on. Other than that as I mentioned love your fresh approach to cooking. Just keep posting awesome videos and sticking to a schedule that suits you! :)

Hey Bharat. This is a fantastic recipe. More than the recipe, it's your explanation of the science behind it, that needs a special mention. I have chhole several times without adding the tea bag and baking soda (coz I am not a big fan of the dark brown coloured chhole), always wondered why the chickpeas would never turn as well cooked as we get in restaurants. I made chhole for dinner tonight following your recipe step by step and viola, had the best chhole ever. Everyone in my family loved it too. Thank you so much for uploading this superb video. I am going try out your other recipes soon.

Where on earth were you hiding mate? I am big science freak and passionate about cooking. You are the first person I came across RUclips who has explained the science while cooking. Keep up the good work.
Just a suggestion; please do not repetitively use the word 'also'. It adds noise to your wonderful narrative. If you want to say the name both in English and Hindi, just say side by side. E.g Ginger powder or Sounth instead of saying Ginger powder also known as Sounth.

this is the best culinary website i have ever come across. the way bharat explains the steps shows how educated a chef he is himself. thanks so much for sharing these wonderful recipes :)

Fantastic explanation. I always had a problem with chole not being soft enough in many restaurants and even many homes for years. This pH reasoning changes all of it. I've used tea before in the cooker - but will try adding baking soda too. Thank you!
