Gotta appreciate the wide screen and new camera angles, feels like a season 2 lol. The game itself was strange but wow that rabbit hole near the end was wild
There's something about these levels that I really like. They have a lot of strong colors, liminal spaces, and some parts are very unique. I also didn't expect that they would actually incorporate an accurate Cherub (6 wings, 4 heads). If the gameplay was better, this would likely be a very enjoyable game.
@@TheCellarTaigenMoon yeah I was a bit confused when demons started showing up because they weren't really a thing during the war in heaven. This completely unrelated game isn't lore accurate!
Vox Day Sounds like the closest thing to a irl God-loving antagonist in modern day without being some Priest-like figure. Bro was even involved in gamergate of all things
Holy crap. So, when I started watching this video I was going to leave a sarcastic comment along the lines of: "oh hey, they made the demon character a women, I wonder if there's some subtext there." Considering I'm now near the end of the video... yikes
To be fair, the Angel is also a woman, and idk how, uh, extreme he was at this point nor how much input he had. Then again, the angel has long hair and the demoness is bald 👀
It would have been interesting to know what he thinks of men with long hair, maybe you didn't qualify for his ranking. It's good that you learned that from the cores, the day you want to play Silent Hill 2 for PC without mods, you need to do that and that's it.
So i'd assume nothing would happen... but did you try attacking Satan or the cherubim? It looks a lot like a choice kinda thing to me but I could be expecting to much out of a christian action game.
I don't remember if I included the footage but I did try that and nothing happened. I think the devs were trying to make a point about the path of evil vs good; in the NYT article they mention that the evil path always ends in self destruction, so I doubt there was any other ending
the trumps “i’ll kiss every guy” bit was my favorite part
He's just in a gay mood (antiquated definition)
You are ASMR for my evenings.

Thanks!
I love the Crisis Core music in the background of parts of the video you put in, you dont hear that very often. Also well made video my guy.
Thank you!
Reminds me of an esoteric From Soft PSX game.
Also, you can't just play that sexy jazz track and tease me when there's no upload of the track online.
I might just upload that track to my second channel actually
Bring back the satanic panic. I think if we spiced it up a bit we could have a solid sequel

Where's our War in Heaven remake?
That last part was wild. Your videos are always so interesting. Please keep up the good work!
Just found your channel, absolutely love your content. Please keep doing videos like this!
I need to leave walmart before its too late :(
Sick video as always! Quick question: what was the picture on the right at 39:32?
Thanks! It's the Great Mosque of Djenne in Mali
Thanks for the info. I love castles but I've never seen that one before, gonna have to look into it
I'd like to point out that when I saw the title I thought this was about warhammer
Christian DOOM is pretty dope though
What's funny is while researching this game, Warhammer lore popped up and I (a Warhammer nerd) went "Oh, yeah, that _is_ a 40k thing."

To be fair I would pick DOOM over christianity any day
(Banger video)
Also is that a protomen shirt
What a fuckin legend
It is indeed an Act I shirt my sir
@@TheCellarTaigenMoonI got the same one in red. Good taste my friend. Also pro tip, all their music is free to use via their own permission.
That's sick actually, I never thought to use their music before, funny enough

The secret is that he's actually just a pseudo-intellectual neo Nazi

@@TheCellarTaigenMoon Wait, the angel is a woman as well? But women are emotional creatures. How could she take down Satan?
Because she had a man (God) keeping her in line, obviously

He probably thinks I'm possessed by the devil.
And I oh boy, good to know lol, I have to play SH2 sometime
Well, this video took a interesting turn down into a rabbit hole of WTF
That FOV really is out of control 😂
