One of your best videos Jamie,a refreshing change and of course a great contrast to commercials.Personally I think the content and structure of such a session and how you delivered it is far more engaging than than somewhere you know the venue better.We fish both genres from the likes of Messingham Sands in matches to the tidal river Don in a pleasure session so the way you are alternating the types of venue reflects our mixed bag so to speak.Dont be afraid to use a float rod along the way bud it would be great to see you help us all on life's learning curve by being slightly out of your comfort zone or preference.But no negatives a great year from you so far keep up the good work.
I live in Belize now, miss fishing the Trent, by far my favourite water. Would never have dreamed of using groundbait, bronze maggot by the gallon and caster with hemp and tares. Always a pleasure watching your videos.

I must get a few items to keep up, bait brolly, stopwatch, 150 spare tips, erm..........if there is anything else I need, I can get it on the way to the venue.
Hi ya that rig is very similar to one i fish on all of our rivers I've taken mine up to making traces up out of much heavier line simple to stop the old swan mussels cutting lighter line's a regular problem. We had a two day pair's last week top weight on day one was 69lb mark pollard was there and there was good weights both days. See you soon

@@CatchFishingChannel generally yes. Like you said you can close to the rig down until it's a bolt rig or move it out to be an unhindered sliding rig. I use it on all the tidal rivers where there is loads of sharp mussels as i can see it the feeder and rig makes the biggest contact with all that sharp stuff so i make rigs first a small swivel twenty pound amnesia a stop a snap swivel a stop then a twizel boom with a cloruso quick change swivel. It sounds excessive but the amount of times I've been cut off on the strike makes it necessary many wouldn't agree some would it works for me

Hi Jammie good video great content as always. Jammie just 1 question can you tell me the name of your rod rest you are using , looks a good strong 1 . I fish a lot of rivers here in Ireland and i could do with 1 strong as that.
