@@josephmonahan8323 then God has truely blessed you. And I thank him for it. For most, Temptation is some thing we have to deal with in our lives. Even as the most devout believer. And I thank God from the bottem of my heart. that he truely Forgives me, when I have strade and fallen in to sin. I want to be Right with God. And the sooner you reach out to God for Forgiveness, the better off you are. Look at King David. When he fell to temptation, taking another man’s women. God gave him time to repent. But he was blind and stayed in sin, making things far worse. And only after God sent to him a Profet. Did David realize what he was doing , that he was clinging to a sinful thing. The evil ones have weaponized lies so truth is seen as socially inappropriate. The Holy Virgin reverses that in the Rosary. Pray and fight, fight and pray!
I consider the Holy Rosary my spiritual sword and why is that? Well the answer to that is because Saint Dominic, founder of the Dominican order considered the Holy Rosary a spiritual sword and he managed well convert his enemies. And Saint Padre Pio considered the Holy Rosary a powerful weapon as well. As for me, I pray a decade of the Holy Rosary before going to work in order to start a new day at work.
I think the various catholic sites selling masculine heavy paracord "combat-type" rosaries may be a good thing in encouraging men to say the rosary which has been viewed, over the last few, as a "women's" devotion with delicate fancy rosaries.
This is a good question. Just as icons are not holy objects, but windows to what we believe, the rosary is not a "weapon" in its physical form. It strengthens our faith and prompts our remembrance of knowledge; it is our knowledge and our faith that move mountains and defeat evil, not a string of beads with a symbol attached. Anglican /Episcopal church members have re-started "praying with beads". I had resisted at first, having been at home with toddlers who would just wear me down with their requests, and not wanting to "nag God into taking action". But the format I found was remembering and reciting the promises made to us, variations on the theme of "I was in trouble and stretched out my hand and God saved me from my terror, " and "God is faithful, trust in Him." It was reinforcing my faith and understanding, which was often very stressed and tested. The rosary is a very good tool for strengthening our connection and faith.
Not being brought up Catholic or any church at all , I remember the hymns from school assembly back in the 60s and 70s. "Put on the gospel armour, and watching unto prayer, where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there" and "..marching as to war, with the Cross of Jesus, going on before". There was a real sense that we were in a spiritual battleground. The protestants have long abandoned that, it's all happy feelings nowadays. And many in the Catholic Church want to. Even the Catholic hymnbook our parish uses has been watered down to remove all "non-inclusive" language or reference to warfare.
🙏🙏🙏Yes the rosary is a “spiritual weapon” used to defend against temptations to pay for guidance, protection, and to confront the evil around us. Jesus is always the center of the rosary, in the same that He is the center of each of the Mysteries as witnessed through the Virgin Mary for God’s Greater Glory. To God be all the Glory!🙏🙏🙏
Hi my name is Annette from Jakarta, Years ago, i had a dream of meeting Jesus. We were in this white room, He told me the end will come soon and at the end of the day pray the rosary that can safe us. For so many years i always wonder why the rosary, whats with the rosary, but i ended up praying it anyway, until one afternoon i was so sad praying the rosary and imagining Jesus was crucified and there was a still voice.. thats why… apparently the rosary is trully the prayer that can bring you closer to Jesus through Mother’s Mary heart.
I find praying the rosary daily incredibly efficacious for multiple reasons. For staving off sin especially long-standing, addictions; getting yourself a tuned to the Holy Spirit and sensitive to the Lords will; and of course, for completely decimating, the spiritual attacks of demonic forces at work in your life, or in the lives of others! as a former protestant who now attempts to pray the rosary every day, it has been so effective at keeping me in a state of grace and strength spiritually. And that is on top of already having a very strong prayerful life. Can I explain it fully… Not really… But the results from praying the rosary cannot be understated. If you want to eradicate sin in your life, and you want protection from and power over the forces of evil look no further than the spiritual gift left to us from Saint Dominic.
Is a rosary a weapon? Not unless you string it with something like kevlar cord. The regular ones would break too readily if you tried to use it as a garote.
The rosary has been a life line for me as someone who struggles with diabolical ....issues, and it brought me to the CC. I think the push to call it a weapon, other than just simply quoting Pio, is to appeal to men as prayer tends to be viewed as 'something women do' (Fr Riperger talks about this). I think the imagery of the crusaders/soldiers and companies like Rugged Rosary, which have a number of very masculine looking rosaries, are to make it more attractive to men.
I have found the rosary as a great tool to help me maintain a consistent prayer life. It gives it a framework and connects it to the prayers of a greater community. Doing this has changed my heart and how I do my work as a forensic psychiatric RN. The rosary is a spiritual anchor for me in a workplace of spiritual despair and brokenness. I embrace my job and its struggles to bring glory to Christ.
We are in a spiritual war even today. Against the evils of this world. Both from with in and from out side in the world. The bible says to pray about all things. If your in need or fearful, to pray to God. And ask him for help. And when things go right, when they could have gone wrong. Give thanks to God. But also when God gives you gifts, like a wild animal comes in to view or near you, or some thing pritty or interesting comes in to your life. It's little gifts from God to his children, just like a Father bringing joy to his children.
I’m not catholic. I’m interested in Catholicism and have started saying a rosary I’ve been praying it off and on since June and around mid September I decided I’d pray it every day. I feel a since of peace and I think this video is actuate it is a spiritual weapon.
Isn't the word of God described as a sharp sword. Bible often speaks of spiritual warfare/doing battle against evil, so I don't understand the adverse reaction to viewing any sacramental as a weapon. And, yes, weapons can be defensive as well as used for aggression.
Jesus thought 2 swords "were plenty" in Luke 22:36. He also braided a whip and used it on some evil unrepentant sinners in the temple. If Jesus didn't have problem with weapons, you shouldn't either. Also, invest in a combat rosary, the ones with the actual steel balls on paracord. Carry it with you when walking downtown. It might save something more than your soul.
Very good. There are three enemies of the Church, and of every Christian: the world, the flesh, and the devil. We combat the influence of the world through the rosary by training in the mysteries of Redemption. It's also a great weapon against the assaults of the world, as exemplified in the Battle of Lepanto, by calling on the aid of the Most High. The rosary is also a great weapon against the flesh by training our flesh to be still and silent for the contemplation of higher mysteries, and especially when we join mortifications to the rosary, such as kneeling throughout, which disciplines the flesh against its desires. Finally, the rosary is a great weapon against the devil because by it we call on the aid of Mary against the demons, who flee from Her in terror and hatred. "Who is she that cometh forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in array?" Song of Songs 6:9
yeah, my mom thinks im feminine for practicing the rosary and chaplets but its helped become my strength against intrusive thoughts and porn addiction. i forgive her
Because evil has no substance of its own, every good act is infinitely more substantive. This is partly why 50 hail Marys is like stomping on Satans head 50 times. Two things can not occupy the same space at the same time, therefore, if you are praying the Rosary, you're not indulging wicked thoughts and sin. We may lose many battles with evil, but don't be afraid, Christ has already won the war. Praying the Rosary is joining in on the Victory as it is an act of conversion, repeated and moving us closer to Christ.
I don’t see the rosary as a weapon. I see it is as a defensive tool. All I have to do is pray the rosary and I will be protected and defended from evil. I prayed it one night and got really into it and I felt this protective ring around me. It’s to protect your soul from evil.
In Rosary and all other Catholic prayers,we are requesting Mother Mary and the saints to intercede for us to Jesus so that his blessings will be upon us .we are worshiping only Jesus ,not anybody else.

Brad, I guess you missed the Mass on the 7 of October. Seems that the Blessed Virgin Mary had something to do with that date . Oh , the Ottoman Turks were fixing to invade Europe and a fleet raised up by the Holy Father stopped them at Leponto. A non professional navy smaller than the Turks and a "Scratch up" fleet against a Professional Navy. The History says that our Blessed Virgin Mary appeared over the Battle Space and frightened the Ottoman Turks Sailors , Many claimed they lost heart when she appeared . The Victory at Leponto was credited to the intersession of our Holy Mother, As Catholics through out Europe played the Rosery be for the battle. I disagree the Rosery is a powerful weapon.
How long, generally speaking, should it take for someone to learn how to pray the rosary properly. Meditating on the mysteries while speaking the words simultaneously while utilizing beads.
Holy Rosary is my weapon against sins. No doubt about it. Join the Rosary Confraternity brothers and sisters, pray the Rosary daily. Add Divine Mercy too.
Second to the Holy Mass, the Holy Rosary is the second most powerful prayer you can make... period! I'm living proof of it. Trust me, if you're struggling with ANY addiction, pray the Holy Rosary. Is it easy? Absolutely not! But what comes easy yields little results. The prayer of the Holy Rosary is very simple, but keeping your mind meditating on the mysteries of the life of Jesus Christ is where it is hard. But if you persist at it the results are life changing! Ave Maria. Steven.
Was it not Christ who said there will always be war and rumor of war! What I have discovered about the Rosary is that it is also beneficial to your mental and physical health. The Real Oldtimers did not have the mysteries. Saturday joyful, Sunday glorious, Monday joyful, Tuesday sorrowful, Wednesday glorious, Thursday luminious, Friday sorrowful. That's 20 mysteries it becomes a feat of memory to recite it and for us aging it is very beneficial to our mental health. Another aspect is the idea of kneeling... my Rosary is more elaborate than yours because I've added on several other prayers. I use a kneeler because I can, but as an aging man I realized how beneficial to me it is to kneel nightly for a half hour because as you age you begin to stoop but kneeling necessarily improves your posture and you become more "upright". All of the sacraments and sacrementals are weapons against the satanic power. Saint Michael, the Arch Angel, Defend us in the day of battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil may God rebuke him we humbly pray and do you oh Prince of the Heavenly Host by the power of God cast down into hell satan and all the evil spirits who roam the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
It is, we use it to throw rocks to the devil like King David, like the Lord when he expellled the invaders at the temple. Our whip and our slingshot to use against evil. And it can be more hurting to demons by: confessing every month, fasting every friday or wednesday, participating in eucharist and staying in state of grace... if you have the 5 of them in a permanent way... well your way to sainthood is highly closer than ever before.
Hello I was recently at the costco in calgary and noticed they only had halal options for their whole chicken , chicken full wing and chicken legs. It was their Kirkland brand. I was extremely disappointed as I do like Costco. When supermarkets start having halal only choices you will find that the rendering factories where the chickens are slaughtered will have a predominantly muslim and then shortly thereafter an exclusively muslim workforce. Note also that money spent on halal products does end up supporting islamic causes and in certain cases the subjugation of Christians. Please boycott halal food. Anything with the halal symbol. This incudes the Nandos sauce and walmart brand chips. In the country I originated from halal has become the only option for chicken & beef. Please do not let that happen in Canada. Just reposting this because I feel strongly about this issue

What do you mean the church created the story of King Arthur? Can you explain that make a video about it? Which church, what person what was his belief?
The church didn't need to create stories to promote chivalry and justice and care for those in need. While i love stories like King Auther and Robin Hood. You have to remember all the stories of the bible. Look at King David. Or the Judges and Profets of Israel. Even the founding fathers of Israel took up the sword to protect those in need.

Probably better to refer it as a shield. I mean in a sense, a shield is a weapon. But calling it a shield reframes it more as a defensive weapon, which it is, really, because it is not used offensively per se. I know, I know, someone is going to bring up Le Panto but I would say nobody goes to war without taking defensive measures of some kind, armour, shield etc. Ephesians 6 I guess.

@@leroykid1971 If God loved all then there would be no need to follow His commandments, no need to live as Christ did and no need to achieve good in this world because if God was all love, we'd all be accepted into Heaven no matter our transgressions.
There is a difference between the love we share for someone and the love God shares for us, God can still love us and punish us at the same time sure but, that isn't really the point of the conversation and that isn't really what people mean when they say God is all love when engaging in sinful behavior.
For example, if someone is hanging a Pride Flag in front of a church and claims that its because God is all loving - that sends the wrong message to the flock. We shouldn't be encouraging sinful behavior like that, we should be standing against it. We should befall the people who engage in that sin and say "Go and sin no more" as Christ did. God's love is not an excuse to go against what God desires.
Full confession: I saw the theme, and I thought this was going to be another flavor of the reactions to that Atlantic article from a few years ago… I was dead wrong.
This is phenomenal.
Same. I'm unfamiliar with the Atlantic article you referenced, but I anticipated a protestant slander of the rosary when opening.
The rosary is pre-figured in scripture by the most famous weapon in the Bible, David's sling that he killed Goliath with. A sling with 5 stones. Just like the rosary is a string with 5 decades. 1 Samuel 17:40
Good call!
Woo 😮 amazing I never thought of the Holy rosary like that . But my God it is indeed a weapon just like David’s sling had 5 stones to kill the giant so does the rosary to destroy the devil one
It is both a love song and a weapon. Ave Maria!
Hi, Brian. Thank you so much for your work. Voices like yours are also powerfull weapons in these strange times. As my mom always said to me every morning before school: "May our lady cover you with her cloth"
everyone wants to be doom slayer but 1 rosary does way more against demons than a shotgun.
also padre pio called it not just a weapon but THE weapon. Also david's slingshot was his weapon which had 5 stones similar to the 5 decades on a rosary.
When I pray the rosary every day, I literally can not commit mortal sin. It is my defense against temptation.
@@josephmonahan8323 then God has truely blessed you. And I thank him for it. For most, Temptation is some thing we have to deal with in our lives. Even as the most devout believer. Which is why the Bible says so often. “Repent! Repent! And Reconcile your self with God!”. And God punished him then. But if King David after first sinning repented to God right then. And reached out to that women’s husband, repenting and reconciling with him. Then things wouldn’t have Gotten worse. And God would not have Brought a Curse on David’s house hold. So if you know you have sinned, make your self right with God and don’t delay. And For those that Sin can’t real in. I thank God for Protecting you.
Your second sentence makes your first sentence true. 'It is my defense against temptation.' Remember, even Saint Benedict as a saint had to throw himself into a thorn bush to prevent sinning...Do you evangelize Catholic Jesus at your workplace to your co-workers? I do. Do you perform the Corporal Works of Mercy to the homeless in front of the convenience stores in your own town, in the name of Jesus? I do. Do you evangelize Catholic Jesus do the cashiers behind the counter at the grocery stores which you frequent? I do. When you sit down alone to eat at a restaurant to you evangelize with, redemptive, holy, Catholic content played on your smartphone with speakers turned on? I do...The male employees of the restaurant even stop to listen to The Exorcist Files podcast coming out of my phone. And the female employees trust me... @@andrew-c1y9b you don't understand what this person Joseph is saying. He claims he literally cannot commit mortal sin. He is wrong to say this. Do you know why he is wrong to say this? No? The answer: Only The Immaculate Conception can say, 'I literally cannot commit mortal sin.' and have it be the truth. No other human being besides The Immaculate Conception can say that about themselves.
I think our brother was being poetic.
If he was not then he is mistaken but I'm pretty sure he was just expressing the power of the rosary
and we must beware of spiritual pride. Boasting of works. *I do* often find myself struggling with this temptation

Thank God! A well speaking intelligent young man espousing Catholic traditional devotion for the victory of Christ over evil in men’s lives. Women as well, but our focus is on men here. Thank God. Blessed be
The rosary is a weapon against Satan! What's wrong with that!!?
"That thing is pure BS!" - Satan
@@HAL9000-su1mz LOL, Bless your heart nothing like fake quoting satan like a goofball thinking satan has any power on his own. If you knew anything about spiritual battles you'd know satan answers to God satan has no power of his own lol.
Exactly so, and all who are of Satan try in every possible way to prevent this prayer.
Anything can be a weapon… with proper motivation and technique.
The rosary is more powerful than a nuclear bomb. A nuclear bomb cannot defeat a demon.
Exactly so, and all who are of Satan try in every possible way to prevent this prayer.
That's one of the reasons I left the norvus ordo to the TLM
🙏🙏🙏Yes the rosary is a “spiritual weapon” used to defend against temptations to pay for guidance, protection, and to confront the evil around us. Jesus is always the center of the rosary, in the same that He is the center of each of the Mysteries as witnessed through the Virgin Mary for God’s Greater Glory. To God be all the Glory!🙏🙏🙏
The Holy Rosary is a good weapon. Thank you Brian Holdsworth.
I'm an Anglican, but I'll be praying my rosary tonight (it's a family heirloom)
People who object to “weapons”, whether spiritual or physical, are the kinds of people who want you to be defenceless. Remember this.
Thanks Brian! Keep up the great work!
Thank you Gabi, for what you are doing as well!!!
The Rosary is a SPIRITUAL weapon....
I dispute that the Rosary is a weapon of this time. It is spiritual weapon of all time. Has helped me a lot.
Is a rosary a weapon?
Not unless you string it with something like kevlar cord.
The regular ones would break too readily if you tried to use it as a garote.
Mine is made of heavy irregular beads and paracord.
Padre Pio said it was. I’ll take a saint’s word.
The Rosary IS a weapon and you have to swing it like you mean it.
St. Padre Pop called it a spiritual weapon,, good enough for me
indeed, an elegant weapon for a more civilised age....
Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well.
Let me tell you about Lepanto
You are a fabulous voice in this community. Thank you for your videos.
Matthew 10:34 - "Do not think that I came to send peace upon the earth. I came, not to send peace, but the sword."
I also learned a new word “concupiscence”.
If demons think it’s a weapon, then it’s a weapon lol.
“Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” - Ephesians 6:17
Isn't the word of God described as a sharp sword. Bible often speaks of spiritual warfare/doing battle against evil, so I don't understand the adverse reaction to viewing any sacramental as a weapon. And, yes, weapons can be defensive as well as used for aggression.
We are sissified. What about spiritual WARFARE?
They are the same that think meek means weak not being capable of violence but not using it except as a last resort.
Correct, it is not a weapon. It is THE weapon.
NATO got nothing on the Holy Rosary. God bless!
These are great videos, good messages for men and conservatives especially.
In the classic comic Hellboy, it's the one weapon he never goes to battle without. Which makes sense, he was raised by a priest after all.
The rosary is the back bone of the church militant.
Thanks for bringing up this subject!
Gabi after Hours is a youtube channel that has awesome videos about the Rosary and the Virgin Mary
In Rosary and all other Catholic prayers,we are requesting Mother Mary and the saints to intercede for us to Jesus so that his blessings will be upon us .we are worshiping only Jesus ,not anybody else.
Every prayer IS a weapon, especially the Rosary.

Well said, Brian... 🙏
How long, generally speaking, should it take for someone to learn how to pray the rosary properly. Meditating on the mysteries while speaking the words simultaneously while utilizing beads.
Inasmuch as we are involved in spiritual warfare it is a weapon.
Holy Rosary is my weapon against sins. No doubt about it. Join the Rosary Confraternity brothers and sisters, pray the Rosary daily. Add Divine Mercy too.
Weapon? It's a spiritual nuke!
Father Donald Calloway refers to the rosary as a weapon and that when a demon sees it, what it sees is a sword.
Ave Maria. Steven.
So well said!
Amen.
Saint Padre Pio, pray for us.
100 percent!!Yes...

Well said! It is a weapon especially for conquering one's own sins. It is Christ centered!
Besides which, the method of slaughter is inhumane.
Halal will do your soul no harm. Neither will Jewish dietary restrictions. It is just that Jesus taught they were no longer necessary. Stickto the Rosary and all will be well. +

Testosterone is necessary to win wars. And who can deny that we are entering a raw war between good and evil. This all makes sense.
Clowns just want you to be defenseless…whether spiritual or in the modern world. They fear what they don’t understand.
Brian have you ever thought about a vocation to the Diaconate?
The cross of St. James (Santiago) is a sword. Just saying.

Can you explain that make a video about it?

You understand Catholicism far better than our Pope!
Pray for him! It is the least we can do.

There is spiritual warfare going on and unless your on the side of evil you shouldn't feel threatened by the Holy Rosary.
The world can be a rotten, evil place. Especially by people who are of this world. The Rosary is one of the best weapons one can wield to prevent you from succumbing to this evil. I say it often, pray the Rosary every day and it will change your life.
But it is used offensively. The demons find it pretty offensive, and I
Wouldn’t say an Exorcism is a defensive action.
