I live in Nashville, just 20 minutes from downtown. The massive explosion occurred on 2nd Ave N near Broadway and Commerce. There is widespread damage in downtown Nashville. Dozens of buildings damaged with millions of dollars in cost. This explosion is now considered comparable to Atlanta bombing. AT&T outage continues to grow to several states including Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

The Audio was made loud enough to hear from far enough to be able to leave the blast zone, so whoever did this, has set one off before

Actually, whoever did this clearly knew that the location would be empty on a major holiday, but I also have a strange feeling about it. Ehh it kinda does actually, if you watch videos with military grade munitions, they generally dont produce fireballs like this one, its much quicker and more violent. This resembles more of a hollywood-esque explosion, which to me, in my non-expert opinion, shows either a lack of knowledge/experience, or crudeness in manufacturing/supplies.
Many phone services were down today due to this explosion. I believe that the bomb was intended to take down these phone services, but they used a evacuation message to make sure no one was killed from it.
A massive thanks must be given to the first responders of the Nashville Police Department for their swift evacuation efforts. An incredibly disturbing situation for sure, one I can only hope we don't see a repeat performance of. All things being said, keep yourselves safe out there.

Dozens of buildings damaged with millions of dollars in cost. This explosion is now considered comparable to Atlanta bombing. My theory is that the "gunshots" that people heard were actually just audio recordings of gunshots, played on the same speaker system in the RV that was used to play the warnings and countdown.
