Maybe they go by a different name. I live in The Netherlands and couldn't find one either but when I started to look for dry cutting or specialized in curls I found a couple in my city. Maybe you should try using other keywords in Google. Good luck 😉

I have the same problem as you, the back of my head is super dry! And I can tell how dry it is just by a touch. It feels dry and frizzy but, I had no idea how to deal with that problem besides putting a butt load of product on the back of my head. NOW I HAVE THE ANSWER! Cause I take super hot showers and the first thing I do is douse my hair in hot water. Thank you so much for this information!
I live in Houston TX and go to Planet Curls in The Heights. They have all trained at the Devachan Salon and are DevaCurl certified. It is the first time I've gotten my hair done and never had to do anything afterwards. Charlie does my hair and color, he's awesome.
I went to that same Diva salon. I loved the way they cut it, but the styling part of it was blah...I left there feeling like I could have done a way better job. the experience was so nice, but the end result I wasn't wowed by at all. My curls looked pretty, but with absolutely no shine what so ever. And when I do my own hair it always has some shine, u know. Idk if it was just the guy who did it was maybe not as experienced becuz I later found out that the price changes depending on the stylist's level of experience and I paid $80 which for a wash/cut I thought was alot so I went with that price being the cheapest. Who knows maybe if i'd went with a more experienced person I would have gotten better results. but the experience was so nice and relaxing, that massage was amazing!!!
Tash Velez I go to that salon too and hate the style, lol. Only one time I liked it when this girl from Trinidad did my hair.
I use the Devachan has a directory of everyone who has gotten training. I have been going to mine for over 10 years and I still love him. I still use their products when I can.
Great video, thanks for sharing. Your color and cut look beautiful and your curls are always on point. There are not many salons in DE that cater to curly girls, but I did find a Deva stylist at Bling Salon in Lewes, DE. I live about 45 minutes away, which is not too bad. I had a cut last fall and as a matter of fact it is time for a trim. I have been transitioning for 14 months and my curl is totally back, just trying to get some length now. You have been most helpful during my transition with all of your videos. Thank you for that. One of these days I am going to post my transitioning pictures.

i mean.. i knw the pineapple, satin cap.. but none work for me... 2nd day hair is a nightmare for me especially the curls at the nape of my neck.. they just lie flat :( ..so can u pls.. do a video on that?
those dont work for me eather i think it depends on your hair and curls. But for me what works best is a satan pillow case. Its not 100% I meen its better then those 2. my hair if i put it in a pinapple or cap gets stuck in that shape even when my hair is 100% dry. mehh curly hair life.
radioactive ood I would suggest investing in a hand-held steamer. It's perfect for refreshing 2nd day hair. You could also mist a refresher spray on the hair at your nape then diffuse to shrink those strands back up.
Ikr! I have to do my hair everyday. Refreshing my curls isn't even good enough for my hair.
Try the banding method. I hated pineappling my hair because I found it too much work after the days. With the banding method, I just take down the hair ties, shake my hair and fluff and go

You can look up DevaCut stylist on the DevaCurl website. It has reviews and tells you what "level" they are that's how I found mine

one more thing, I'm not really crazy abt their products either. They arw super pricey, and again for the results I personally dont think it's worth the price. And I feel like that supercream somehow absorbs any odor/smells in the air. like if I'm cooking, my hair absorbs the food smell everytime and I don't notice that with other cream like products. And the defining gel is not good. after the first day hair style it looks crappy. I hope I'm not sounding like a bitch...just think that there are so many other better products, for less or even that same price range. Its easy to fet sucked into it being that they specifically are made for curly hair but idk its just ok for me. Btw tho, ur hair came out amazing!!

They give great consultations. I don't think the cut would age them. It's just a matter of what you want the style to look like

Khadija Kennedy a devacut is done the curl by curl method, there is no one 'devacut' it's just the method, you could have a full fringe devacut, or a one length devacut, fringes tend to make people look younger, but it's not meccecerally a bad thing to look older
