Thanks for posting. I think that this 1963 releases was actually Waylon's fourth single. It was preceded by Jole Blon (1959), Another Blue Day (1961) and Crying (1962). And I think that the other side, "My Baby Walks All Over Me," was considered to be the A-side.
You can hear his angst when he gets to his friend Buddy. He had to live with his joke he said to his friend on that faithful night when Buddy says I hope your bus freeze's to his response i hope your plane crashes. The last thing he said to him that February night in Clearlake, Iowa 1959
