Not sure if you’ve addressed brakes yet but you should spend some money here especially if you’re racing in high heat. OEM calipers aren’t well regarded and many that track end up going to Wilwood Aero6 or AP Radicals for 100% braking assurance. I went the AP route a few weeks ago and street driving is fine, but I’ll have a report once my next track day is done in 2 weeks. I’m driving a 2011 Grand Sport which has a lot of similarities, but also some major differences such as heavier chassis, removable roof, LS3, longer gearing etc. 430hp is enough for me and my kids love to drive with the roof off! Anyway, you should at least upgrade your brake fluid and pads before you go on track. Motul 660 and a good track pad. I’m running Ferodo 2500 but that’s a whole rabbit whole in itself. The serious guys swap to track pads for track days but track pads are horrible on the street with regards to noise. Every time you hit the brakes on cold track pads they squeal LOUD like honk your horn loud. So most swap back to street pads for daily driving if you’re using that way. If it’s a dedicated track car then don’t worry about it.
Next you need to think about cooling, at least upgrade your radiator, maybe add a stand alone oil cooler if it doesn’t already have one. You may have these mods covered already with the power upgrades.
If cooling is in order then focus on brake setup and tires and you’ll likely be fine. Your life is worth more than a set of $5k brakes so give yourself a fighting chance. Just my 2 cents.

I really appreciate all this feedback! Yeah I have a set of blank face rotors and hawk dtc60s I’ll be installing this week before I head to homestead speedway on the 28th. I also have the motul.
I noticed you mentioned you’re tracking in two weeks. Where at? This will be the first time me getting this car out on track I’m hoping it for it to dictate what else it’s going to need like cooling wise and more.

I'm in Kansas City, so I run at Heartland Park Topeka. The track day will be a good shakedown of what you need done, if anything. A stand alone oil cooler is a fairly easy mod to add, just costs some coin. I think LG sells a kit, as well as DRM, also Improved racing is a well known brand as well. Don't cut corners on this, because if it ruptures, its super dangerous, as you can imagine. Can't wait to see results from the track day.@@SloJoeRacing
