I have read most everything printed in English about the Titanic. It should be understood that the people who survived on lifeboat A....did so by standing inside the partially flooded boat. I believe they stood in ankle to knee deep water. When it washed off the Titanic about 20-30 people climbed into it. During the night about half froze to death and were put overboard. When lifeboat #4 under the command of 4th officer Lowe pulled the survivors into #4 at daybreak, there were only about 12-13 still alive.

Well he saw Murdoch shoot himself with a gun that is interesting. And he was the water holding on to a boat and lived. Thanks for story.
