    Great video. Haven't had to do this on my machine, but I learned a lot from your experience. Thanks. On removing the paint from the inside of the sprockets - have you ever heard of rust jacking? By removing the paint, it can rust and oxidation can be very powerful at moviing metal. I really appreciate your attitude. Great testimony. Maintenance instructions and GOSPEL instructions for eternity. GOD bless you!

    This was an awesome video! Using wire to hold them pipes in was brilliant. I wouldn’t have thought to do that. You really just need them to stay in place and that’s just what they did. That was an awesome message too. I know one of my hopes in owning my own business is getting away from the daily life that I’ve lived for so long. I know I waiver in that place. I know that I’ve worked around rough old men all my life and I’ve become like the world in that aspect. Like I live two different lives at times. It’s so easy to go back to a fowl angry cruel mentality there. Being one of the crowd. Instead of being a light at times im just one of the world. I don’t like it. This message hits home. Thanks man!! Keep up the good work!

    • @tristardiggin

      Not sure how brilliant that idea was. More like procrastinating and to lazy to make them. 😃

    Sometimes a person gets frustrated and just wants to quit. Just the otherday I was at that point. I was working in my shop doing some woodwork. Things were just not fittin the way they should. I just down opened my Bible and found the scripture where the Lord told the fisherman to the right side. I looked at my project and seen my problem lies in the right side. So I adjusted therightside and it feel together
    perfectly. So I had hoped I had found the problem and prayed about it and yes all is well. So bless you brother and may the Lord keep you safe.

    Surreal watching this. As you put the new tracks on, I kept hearing beep beep beep from what sounded like a skid steer. Paused the video and the noise kept going. Opened my front door to find a Cat 259 tearing out the fence next my building. Exactly like yours. For just a moment, reality and RUclips blurred into one indistinguishable thing. Still cannot believe the timing. Way past pinching myself. Anyway their operator is nowhere near your level. He made a lot of noise, took 10 minutes and moved almost nothing. Less than half a bucket worth. Watching pros like you and Davin and Letsdig, it is easy forget not everybody is on your level.

Chris Letsdig18 said that a skid steer get between 1200 and 1500 hrs on a set of tracks. But your right about the rip rap it's hard on those rubber tracks. I would definitely charge more for a job using rip rap. One bad turn on it and you could cut a new track. Did you notice how Loose that front arm assembly with the front idler was , when you were pushing against it with the hoe ?

      Thanks for the info. Best I can tell that idler frame just kinda floats inside the housing. I pulled it out last time I changed to check what you just mentioned. Appreciate you letting me know that...

    That seemed to have gone pretty smooth for a change, lol. Where did you get the tracks and sprockets from? I know you told me but I forgot. The 299 is gonna need some soon. I dread it

      @tristardiggin sure is
      I'm an over the road truck driver and I listen to your videos. Your narration is awesome. I don't watch and I don't need to. I can't comment like I wish I could but safety comes first always. Sitting at a Loves in Kalamazoo now I have time. God's message at the end is great. Driving gets the blood pressure up and that little message puts things in perspective. Keep up the great work

      @kirkschellhammer6593 Hey Kirk, that’s cool the way you listen and not so much watch. That’s the first I’ve heard of someone doing it that way! 😀
      Glad you are enjoying the message and it helps the blood pressure too.🤣🤣🤣
      Got a new one coming out in the morning…
      God Bless,
